Kimberly was wonderful to work with. I had to leave a bad situation and wasn't sure what to do or where to start, but she was so nice and knowledgeable, and made a bad situation as pleasant as easy as she could. She's very communicative, compassionate, and knowledgeable, and will fight to get what you need. I would definitely recommend her, 10/10, for anyone looking for a divorce/family lawyer.

Family court is rarely a “good” experience. But even in the bad experiences, having Don to fight for you and your kids makes the bad times feel less heavy. He doesn’t fill your head with promises and is very honest about what can be done. He communicates with you about all possible outcomes and genuinely listens to your worries and makes sure you understand what is happening. SO thankful for everything you’ve done Don! My only regret is not finding him sooner.

A friend had referred me over to Ryan after I was worried about my debt. When I reached out, Ryan immediately calmed me down and explained every step of the process thoroughly and clearly. Dennis made an unfortunate situation manageable. As one would anticipate, I was extremely nervous about the process. Dennis immediately made me feel comfortable and that eased my nerves. Easy to talk to, excellent at explaining and helping me understand the process. Even during the 'not so fun' times, he managed to lighten the mood of the situation with a bit of humor and personability. Definitely something I appreciated to establish a trusting working relationship between attorney and client.

I am grateful to have found Attorney Schlussel. She listened to my concerns and assisted me in understanding the “Legal Jargon” that I did not understand and she explained it very well. Debbie provided excellent representation from beginning to end in the defense against charges of manufacturing and delivery of methamphetamine, that I received in Canton, MI, The charges are felonies that carry a mandatory 10-20 year prison sentence. Debbie was a super star in challenging if there was probable cause to pull me over and nearly got the charges dismissed before the case left Canton District Court for the 3rd Circuit Court of Wayne County. Debbie was able to get the felony charge of manufacturing and delivery dismissed and replaced with a misdemeanor charge of use of methamphetamine by using her expertise and knowledge of criminal law, that she has developed over her years of practice. I highly recommend the retention of Debbie Schlussel to represent you in the defense of any criminal charges! She will grind and out work the prosecution if necessary! Honestly, I owe her great gratitude, as she saved at least 10 years of what are suppose to be the best years and highest years of my life! I can breathe again!

I was dealing with a very difficult situation, and it was only for a referee hearing our divorce was already final. Lana was very supportive, caring, forthright, and so knowledgeable about all the laws. She helped me stand tall with a difficult ex and took my financial situation into account. She knew that the money I was using was a gift from a friend who had passed away and was very good about ensuring I received what was left when we closed the case. She was able to help me realize he couldn't bully me any longer.. I wish I would have used her for my divorce!! Her care for her clients is amazing and her 1st priority are the children involved and taking care of her clients. She is AMAZING!!! I was absolutely grateful to have found her. Lana is not only very professional, she is a compassionate person. After I was refereed to a lawyer, I decided I wanted to keep looking because I had that feeling that the lawyer seen me as just another case. Then I found Lana. Lana was very different and I am so glad to have run into her. Do yourself a favor and consider her as your attorney. You won't find a better person to give you legal advice; that goes a long way for me. She is also extremely knowledgeable while providing an experience that feels so much more than a legal consultation. She's a real human being and you just can't find that anywhere else. I hired Jackie for my divorce and child custody case, and I am so glad that I did. She is the best of the best. From our very first meeting, Jackie was extremely approachable, understanding, compassionate, and so reassuring. She always kept me up to date with the process. Over the last 8 years, I have faced repeating challenges with child support issues. Michelle has met with me on short notice, taken my phone calls and guided me through these challenging situations. I highly recommend Michelle as a trusted advisor and advocate. I was in a rough spot once my divorce started. I honestly didn't know where to turn to. I found Tara Parker online and requested a meeting. I briefed her on how everything started out for me. My Ex-Wife ran off with my children, without me knowing, accused me of things that I would never do, and wouldn't let me know where my children were, and if they were ok. My daughter is autistic and was taken out of Therapy for a lengthy time, my son was taken out of school and wasn't enrolled into school until 4 weeks later. Tara Parker and Amy Koshy helped me out so much. I was on the losing end, paying an exuberant amount of child and spousal support, the courts willingly gave her the kids, and it seemed like I was a total loss. Tara Parker and Amy Koshy assured me to hold my head up high, be strong, and the courts will decide the right thing in the end. A lot of new information was brought into light, I was able to start seeing my kids, and In the end, due to the grueling 1 year battle of this divorce, I got my children back, permanently. The case was flipped and I definitely cried at the news when I was told by Amy. God Bless these two, and for all they have done. They definitely give Fathers a fighting chance to see and have their children again! Thank You.

Mike has a desire to be successful in his services and representing myself. This was first demonstrated to me when Mike did his research on me to determine if I was being honest with him in the beginning. When he was certain that he was given all the correct facts, he took on the case. I really appreciated this, because when he accepted my case, he was committed to it and to me. Mike would review every aspect with me and explain the alternatives including the potential cost impacts with the various options before proceeding. Mike dealt professionally with everything that needed to be addressed. He discussed the issues with me and listened to what I had to say without making any pre-judgments. Mike would summarize the issues well and keep to the facts even though the other party attempted to “rabbit trail” at every opportunity. My “after-divorce” problems continued for years as the other party would continually challenge the final order. Even in this, Mike dealt professionally and worked to keep my interests protected. Mike is a professional individual that is first looking for a mutual agreement in a divorce but when a mutual agreement is not obtainable, he worked aggressively for my interests.

I had an ugly divorce and (1) year after the judgment was final…it got worse. I selected Mike to replace my original attorney. What a great decision! Attorney Barry Fayne is one of the greatest people that I know, and I am more than happy that he agreed to take my case. At the time that he decided to get involved, I had been through four attorneys who seemed reluctant to deal with the tumultuous issues on my case. Attorney Fayne’s involvement changed everything!
In my opinion, Attorney Fayne’s calling was to be a family law attorney. He gives the best advice based on his profound knowledge of the law. He is also considerate and respectful of your feelings and will listen with an open-mind to your input relative to the direction of the case. He is truly committed and dedicated to his profession. He has received and responded to my calls and/or emails of an urgent nature outside of ‘normal’ working hours and has been very personable. His presence in the courtroom on my case has been impactful.

We hired Barry on the recommendation of our attorney, who had a conflict and could not represent us for a specific hearing. Barry took us on as clients and immediately understood a very complex case and the seriousness of the issues of the hearing. He treated us like we were longstanding clients (even though we had just met) and listened to and responded to every one of our communication in a way that showed he is “all-in” for his clients when he takes a case. In my opinion Chris is a true professional. He has the knowledge and experience to navigate the complex legal and justice system with ease and finesse. My experience has been filled with education, great advice and complete follow through. The legal system is filled with enormous pitfalls and confusion. Chris not only has the experience to overcome these obstacles through his experience, he has the wherewithal to see what is being put on the table, methodically address the issue at hand to negotiate and resolve the issue with a fair and clear resolution.
