Nothing ever changed… I started at a 645, didn’t need much but they didn’t do nothing to better My credit. I have known Jeff for years, as he shared an office with my attorney. He always seemed to be advocating for people in bad spots. Over a week ago I asked my attorney for his contact information as I have an issue with a storage unit that is leased in my building. Today is Friday and when I called to tell them I needed his help he told me it would have to wait until Monday. I included him on a copy of an email exchange - he called me back and told me he needed to respond immediately. He took that initiative and I am looking forward to a positive outcome. That kind of response is what you need in an advocate.

Jeff McAdams is AN OK ATTORNEY who is personable, caring, and professional, and who will represent you in a satisfactory manner. This Ivy educated barrister is a one-man show who is professorial in personality and style, generally trustworthy, but more of a negotiator than a litigator. A big possible problem with Jeff, however is that he is notorious for NOT returning phone calls to clients in a timely manner, and quite frankly, hopelessly lost and/or forgetful in tracking his cases without his able assistant. BOTTOM LINE: CLIENT BEWARE: If you can put up with unanswered messages left at his office, not being informed of the progress of your case, and wondering when work is going to be finished, then stick with him, otherwise out of frustration you'd be wise to find an attorney or law firm that is better able to be more attentive to your legal needs.

Hook and bait. Overpriced. Charges for everything single second, even for bathroom breaks. The lawyer is old as stone and slow. He coughs dust. Forgets things and should have retired 6 years ago. He’s not flexible with dates since he has early bedtimes and naps. Save yourself time and money. Go find yourself a younger lawyer with more stamina.

I was fortunate to have found Paul! I tasked him with writing my prenup, and he was attentive and helpful throughout the entire process. I hired Daniel Perlman in June, 2014 for divorce/custody case, and at first he was helpful, although I should have suspected something was amiss when I wrote 90% of the affidavit myself. For the next 20 months, he went missing for 2-4 months at a time, completely ignoring my calls, texts, and emails. It did not matter how urgent the request—such as the most recent, wherein I needed a visitation change because the schedule my ex had insisted upon was so erratic and unstable that it made me unable to find childcare--he ignored my messages completely.
Earlier in the process, he would arrange a call or a meeting and not call or not show up. After months of completely abandoning the case, he would briefly surface on occasion and do something small such as send a short letter. However, the resurfacing was completely unpredictable and had no logic. He ignored urgent matters involving my child’s most basic well-being and occasionally responded to minor matters that required little time or work on his part.
After the first couple instances of what became a pattern, I requested that he draw up a document committing to a time frame and reasonable responsiveness—and simply doing his job, but he did not respond to this request. Nor did he respond to my requests for invoices, refunds, and the return of my documents.
This pattern of negligence has occurred 5-6 times over the past 20 months. At the moment, it has been 2 ½ months since he has responded to requests for specific actions such as writing a letter regarding my ex’s inappropriate references to the case in front of our child (a letter Mr. Perlman said he would write and then disappeared), my urgent request for specific changes to the visitation schedule so that I can find stable childcare, updating me on the case, and, of course, finally filing the custody motion.
For months and months I have begged him to file the custody motion that he originally said he would file in August, 2014. He ignored my requests despite the urgency--the fact that my child is suffering. He refused to respond to my requests for him to simply take this crucial and obvious fundamental step that needed to be taken 18 months ago. Now, his failure to do the most basic part of his job has resulted in the complete sabotage of my case because the amount of time that has passed will make it look to any judge as if there is no cause for a change in the informal custodial/visitation arrangement.
Further, Mr. Perlman is also aware that I suffer from a progressive neurological disease that is exacerbated by stress, and he has done little but make me literally sick from anxiety and helplessness regarding my child's well-being. I hired him in June, 2014; it is now March, 2016, and not one single step of progress has been made since the divorce papers were filed almost two years ago. He has still not filed the custody motion, and he has merely ignored my attempts to end the miserable arrangement by requesting bills and a refund of my retainer fee.
I am a single mother with a disability, and this is how Mr. Perlman has treated me, presumably working under the assumption that I am powerless to secure basic professional and humane treatment. I can document everything I have written here, and I want to do my part to warn other clients, especially women of modest means with children, to avoid this attorney at all costs.

I highly recommend Dror and his team. I am involved in a tough divorce where a lot of money and legal custody are at stake. Dror has been great. Karen was assigned as the attorney for the child in my case, and it was a nightmare. She is supposed to tell the judge what the children want, but she does not do this. I think she lies to the judge regarding what the children tell her to suit her own agenda, which is usually in favor of the wealthier parent. She will say the children are confused or not sure what they want even when the children are begging to see the other parent more. I think she is not representing the child’s best interests. She becomes more powerful than the other side’s attorney against you, and then she bills and bills and bills to leave you with no money to defend yourself. If she is assigned to your case, do whatever you can to object or have her removed. She is the worst thing that happened to my divorce case.

I hired Robyn to represent me in a highly contentious divorce. My children were being used as tools against me and their mother was attempting to alienate them from me. She made the welfare of the children as important as mine and I was able to walk away from the divorce with a strong financial and custody arrangement. I hired Robyn because my ex-wife puts up hurdles against me seeing our daughter and I went to court to enforce an agreement we made. The court case was initiated by me and Robyn was later hired by me to support my cause. She also initiated a case in Supreme Court for which she appeared unprepared. I then decided that her support was actually not helping my cases. I also have strong reservations about her knowledge of the law which is limited since she gave me wring advice in several instances, such as the deadline to perfect an appeal in Manhattan Appeals Court which she said was six months but in fact is nine months (not the only instance of obvious mistakes). Other issues were here representing me in court which went better for me without her.

I wish I had seen this website before. Mr. Anesi is a very good attorney, trustworthy and conscientious. I have retained Mr. Anesi as my attorney for well over 15 years. He has never let me down!! I hope the client who complained about the hidden surprising fees that were tacked on without any notice, realizes that billing in a law office is usually done by the office manager and not by the attorney, similar to a medical office. I experienced the same billing issue, but being the banker that I am, I discussed the problem with Mr. Anesi. Well, my billing issues went away when his office manager was dismissed! If anything, I think Mr. Anesi was a victim like the rest of us.

Very rarely does the small company wins against a major corporation like GoDaddy. specially in a fairly new space of technological advances. With that being said it’s feels like you’re paying for a study instead of an advocate.

Jones’ legal advice has always been spot on. I’ve recommended him to a number of friends as well, who have all been very pleased by his diligence and perspicacity. He gets to the heart of the matter very quickly, determines the appropriate steps, and follows up (some lawyers let cases languish that could easily have been moved along had they been paying attention). Another strong point is that he won’t accept cases where he feels that potential clients would be better served elsewhere, and says so.

November 13, 2024 marks one year since I was blindsided in court. Failure to diagnose is serious and the ramifications more. Told I had no choice but to attend I knew that was not true. Mandel created that story on his own because the judge never requested my presence and was extremely disrespectful. The defense was rude, insulting and sat there pointing little pieces of paper claiming I had to sign more authoizations they never expired. My injuries more serious and what she claimed a lie. She and the judge seemed in sync and that’s when I dropped the case. I received no defense in court. This past year has been horrible and I’m now in more powerful meds to alleviate the pain in my jaw. It’s sad that no one truly cares. Berger has no warmth it’s all about money and more.
One year is not a long time but it’s been rough and I lost a lot of weight since I can no longer eat solid foods.what happened to me can happen to anyone!

Worst attorney's office..Have been dealing with them for years, finally got a settlement. Reviewed the documents, agreed and signed. In the AGREEMENT says funds would be disbursed in 4 to 6 months it's been almost a year can't get ahold of anyone. When you email them they respond that certain aspects of your case are handled by different people/firms..

They ONLY help the rich, powerful, and those with connections. Did an excellent job with Ms Carroll, but there are thousands of regular people who suffered abuse on a daily basis and not just one encounter like Ms Carroll, yet this firm only goes for the high profile cases and does not care about the rest of the women out there who endured heinous abuse simply because we are not rich, powerful or have connections.

Snotty, know it all and not helpful... I wouldn't recommend her services. I didn't like her attitude and she is very pushy and unpolite. I don't think a professional lawyer would act that way... So unless you enjoy dealing with difficult people I suggest you find a better lawyer.
