Sadly, Heidi no longer works with Bennet Hartman, and is out of the Family Law business. When she was my attny, I had nothing but great things to say about her. She unfortunately came onto my case after the last hearing, but was extrememly helpful in navigating through the leftovers that my previous attny failed to complete. She is thorough, knowledgeable, kind and extremely professional. She even has helped with referrals long after we worked together. Thank you to Heidi for helping to change the face and reputation of attorneys. Now if we can just work on the justice system and the judges!!

I retained Amy in the hopes of spending as little money as possible to respond to a vexatious 'implied' domestic partnership lawsuit against me. Amy came through and helped me out with a Motion to Dismiss, and did not overcharge. Now my real estate lawyers are taking it from here. Very reasonably priced, very responsive, very no-nonsense. Highly recommended.

Jordan is amazing at what he does. He's very cool headed and does a great job removing emotions from the equation while focusing on the facts and presenting them in a way that will be received well in the court room. He got me through a parenting time enforcement and two separate parenting modifications over the course of my military career. He did a phenomenal job highlighting that I was a highly involved, loving and caring father in spite of my occupation creating distance between me and the kids and a very resentful ex spouse who actively tried to limit my access to our children. Each time he was able to come away with a favorable outcome. He was even able to overcome a parenting time evaluators recommendation and help me win equal access parenting once my time in service ended and I was able to move back to the area. I can't thank him enough for all that he's done for my family and I highly recommend his services if you find yourself in need of them.

I had a disappointing and expensive experience with Mr. Sollars. He frequently ignored my communications yet charged me for emails and calls that reminded him of tasks that weren't addressed or completed for extended periods of time. He often appeared stretched too thin and indecisive. Despite the ongoing reminders, there were long periods where no action was taken, yet he continued to bill. Overall, very little was accomplished, and I ended up with significant legal fees without the results I expected. He also advised some things that harmed my case. I would recommend looking elsewhere for legal representation. Now that my case is over, I’ll move on, but will be paying the financial and real life costs for a long time.

I’ve been through multiple attorneys and William is by far is the best I’ve come across. He is professional and respectful to his clients and gets the job done. Don’t waste your time on anyone else acting like a car salesman/woman, telling you everything you want to hear to get the retainer. If you want a good attorney this is your guy but you must schedule phone calls as he is super bzy with many other clients cases. You get what you pay for here. My case is still ongoing but I’m confident in this attorney. William is also honest in his methods and hours worked.

I had the privilege' of retaining Pat to represent my case. There were many complicated pension and property issues involved. Pat's experience in these matters proved invaluable in slicing through difficult issues. She brings a wealth of knowledge and resources to the table. If there is an area where we needed additional experts she has a great deal of contacts in specialized fields (QUADRO, Actuary... ) to draw from.
She knows the players in the field and is aware of how an opposing council may utilize a particular resource. Ultimately this case was settled and I would recommend Pat for any family law needs.

Better late than never. I was cleaning out my desk procrastinating any way possible to keep from jumping into my taxes. When I ran across my Divorce file from 2005. Patricia A Newman handled my divorce and it was a pleasure to work with a person with her level of professionalism. She out maneuvered the opposing Attorney a every juncture and we attained a conclusion better than I ever thought possible. I called Patricia and told her how I appreciated her hard work all those years ago. She was a little overwhelmed but I believe in giving credit where credit is due. I hope this review is of some help to some poor chap that is in that dark place that I was in so many years ago.

After researching and interviewing several divorce attorneys, I came to the conclusion that Shawn would be the best attorney to represent me. From the first meeting, Shawn took the time to answer all of my questions and helped me understand the divorce process. Shawn is well versed in complicated and high stress divorces. Shawn and his firm helped me navigate through a difficult divorce. He was able to thoroughly explain the divorce landscape as it's handled in the state of Oregon. I found this very helpful since the majority of my life was spent residing in other states that handled divorces much differently. Shawn offered honest advice but was very understanding and compassionate while working out a settlement. With his vast experience I was able to draw up a settlement that was accepted by all parties and more than likely provided me a more favorable outcome than if I battled in court. Ultimately this method allowed me to put less stress on my two kids which was a top priority.

Jason was absolutely incredible. Not only is he an extremely good attorney, but he has a unique skill. He can read people with an uncanny accuracy. I told him my situation and he asked some questions about my wife (now ex-wife). I answered candidly. He immediately developed a strategy, based not only upon the facts of our situation, but also upon his reading of my wife. After speaking with my then wife's attorney, Jason sized him up within minutes and further refined our strategy. His assessment was spot on. He told me exactly what we would do and accurately predicted their response. The entire case played out exactly how he said it would. I can not overstate how valuable his ability to read people is. Although I hated getting a divorce, I am thankful that I had Jason as my attorney.

Greg and his staff are the best! Very professional in every way. I sat down with Greg and told him that my wife wanted a divorce. He took the time to go over everything I needed to know before I hired him as my attorney. After talking with Greg I hired him and his firm to represent me in my divorce. Because of Greg's experience I was able to get my divorce with out the expense of going to court. He was able to get me everything I was asking for including keeping my pension. I can't recommend Greg and his staff enough. Hopefully I will never need an attorney again, bit if I do Greg will be the first one I call.

Zachary Gottlieb took over my case after 10 months of getting nowhere with my existing divorce attorney. It has been almost 2 years and I am grateful I had the opportunity of starting my family law case with Katherine Denning. Unfortunately, my situation was incredibly high conflict and I started out without representation and restraining orders on both sides were approved with identical restrictions. After a consultation, Katherine helped with confidence and determination. Slowly that all unraveled as communicating became confusing and eventually I was working with Zach right before a seperate hearing relating to my childrens' home and possessions. When I had cried on the phone due to being overwhelmed I was dropped by Katherine with only 2 days left until a hearing took place. I was referred to another attorney/firm. I'll never forget trying to find a lawyer and requesting that the judge postpone the hearing. I represented myself at the hearing and although i didn't get the outcome i wanted, I am proud of myself for facing my abuser on the stand. His lawyer also messed up quite a bit and was less scary during the hearing. However, the judge had no sympathy that I was lawyerless in which I am getting very used to in the legal field. Overall, my ex' lawyer was agressive and unfortunately my replacement did not put in an effort at all. This is no fault of Litowich, however I do think attorneys should be willing to learn how to deal with victims of domestic abuse and sexual assault before taking on high conflict cases. It's reasonable for clients to be confused or emotional, however If you have a high conflict case that involves domestic abuse, do your best not to become emotional or look for a lawyer who is patient and experienced with domestic/sexual abuse survivors.

Chelsea and her staff are second to none. Compassionate, tough, knowledgeable and they care about you as a person. Chelsea and her staff worked very hard for me and my case. Advised me on what was happening each step of the way and weren’t afraid to let me know if they thought I was making an emotionally charged decision or one that was in my best interest. I hired Michael upon making the decision to leave a very devious partner. I knew the divorce and related custody, support and parenting plan issues would be likely result in a long and trying process. My goals were to stay out of court and achieve a plan that was in the best interest of my child. It was scary as I knew nothing about family law. I was put at ease the moment I met Michael. He made an effort to connect with me and understand the unique nature of my case. He was clearly a seasoned expert with issues related to family law. When you're involved in a highly litigious case involving your children, you are going to want Cambell in your corner. She was clever, extremely organized and thoughtful in her strategy, despite the sh!tshow we were up against regarding the opposing party. When you’re going through a divorce, especially with children involved, you want someone to fight for you and always be on your side and the best interest of your child. It’s often messy, and can be the worst part of your life; you really need that person that will be in your corner. That’s Cambell.

So, I never really hired anyone here, but I did have a consult with Kurt back in 2019 for a custody filing. He was extremely helpful and very compassionate, but he was confident I could move forward without a lawyer representing my case, based on my own 'evidence'. I was a single mom of two, no financial support, and I 100% was so thankful that Kurt was an honest lawyer who wasn't just going to take my money. I believe he has retired but I still recommend Bendixsen Law to anyone who asks for a lawyer!

I'm really not sure how there are even any negative reviews on here about Tom at all. There is not one thing in either of those reviews that even slightly resembles my experiences with Tom.
I initially hired Tom several years back to gain access to my daughter. Since my daughter's birth, her mother refused to let me see her. I was young and naive and paralyzed by the legal system. I have no idea how to navigate the courts and gain access to my daughter. I tried to file a motion on my own and could not even get the paperwork filled out correctly to get my motion into court and of course the court clerks cannot offer legal advice or make suggestions.
I didn't make good money and I had spoke with a few attorneys to get an idea of cost. I was quoted 15,000-25,000. One attorney wanted a $7,500 retainer and the other wanted $10,000. I was crushed.
I was referred to Tom by a friend and I had a consultation with him. He told me how he could help me and outlined a plan of action. He was very confident that he would gain me access to my daughter. The cost he estimated was much less than the other attorney's and quite frankly he seemed much more knowledgeable and competent than the other two attorneys I had met with.
The retainer is what really made this possible for me. Tom's retainer was very reasonable and allowed me to afford his services even with my lower income job. He went right into action and we filed for Custody/Visitation. I had questions all along the way and he gave me detailed and informed answers. As nerve racking as going court can be I was actually very confident with the whole ordeal with Tom as my council.
I was aware a healthy amount of parenting time and have a fantastic relationship with my daughter today. It was a rough go at first but it was the best decision I have ever made. I only wish I met Tom earlier.
Last year I called on Tom again for legal help. I was getting divorced and hired Tom to represent me. The whole thing was resolved in less than a month. I got to keep my house... if you know what I'm saying. I'm really thankful to have met Tom.
I've heaped enough praise on Tom. I also wanted to comment on his staff. His assistant Alex actually was very helpful during this whole process as well. I spoke with him on a few occasions when Tom was not available and Alex knew all the details about my case and had answers to many of my questions.
I don't leave too many reviews on the internet. Mostly because my time is important to me and I can think of 100 things I'd rather be doing, like riding dirt bikes with my daughter or going taking her fishing. Well, I wouldn't be able to do those things without Tom's help so I wanted to take the time to share my experience.
I happily recommend Tom Brasier to friends and family, and anyone taking the time to read this.

Recently, my old settlement had to be reopened and I hired a lawyer. What I learned from this new attorney is that I had learned very little from my first round with Mr Brasier years ago. When working with him he would get impatient when I had questions. He even left me a frustrated and unprofessional message about not having reloaded my retainer yet when I actually had (he just hadn’t communicated with his secretary). Years later, I’m finding out that my settlement is poorly written, a result of both attorneys involved, with ambiguities in the language that are creating problems for me and costing me more money. Tom picked up a pretty complicated case that didnt have a clear-cut winner.
He was overly patient and understanding. When he had a suggested course of action, he laid everything out and even gives you his very best guess of each outcome, with context. Tom explained each and every part of the process...
and he did it without ever being disingenuous with billing.
His assistant Alex is warm and inviting as well as efficient. Alex was always communicative when Tom wasnt able or necessary.
Tom was so good, cordial and timely that even the opposition preferred to communicate with him instead of their own counsel, and fired them.
Tom won my case the very best it could and it was because of the legal maneuvers he suggested. It delayed the outcome, it costed almost twice as much as expected... and Tom explained each and every reason why things resulted as such.
We won, I got exponentially more time with my daughter.
Tom is a man of his word and if you dont hire him right now, theres a chance youll see him at the other side's table... and I promise you, that is not an opponent you want to have.

Very efficient in helping my ex wife with her completely fabricated stories and essentially trying to strip away my rights as a father for my two children. I hired Mr. King to help with recovering assets my ex decided to keep because he thought simply he was entitled to it. My situation was very stressful as i needed to recover this in order to pay for the coinsurance for a surgery my son will need to get in january. Mr. King was extremely compassionate to my situation. Erin is wonderful. I went through a very lengthy, messy, and litigious divorce and hired multiple lawyers. I wish I had Erin representing me the entire time. I would have likely not had to go through many of the additional and unnecessary court cases as she would have gotten the divorce agreement right from the beginning. When going through this process it is important to have someone who will guide you appropriately and actually care about the outcome for you- not just the amount they are able to charge you for erroneous court cases. Erin will walk you through your options and guide you through the process. While we did try to avoid court, it was impossible with the other involved party. Erin is thorough and tough and gets the job done. In my case our outcome couldn't have been better and I truly believe it is because I had Erin and her team representing me.
