I contacted Andy through a friend and talked to him for 15 minutes over the phone. He is the consummate professional that everyone needs advocating for them. I can’t tell you how responsive and thorough he and his team are. If you need any help from a family attorney he is without question the best in York county. I hired him and he was immediately fighting for me. If you ever need a legal service for some other reason he has a network of great attorneys in a wide area from real estate to wills and everything in between. He knows his profession and if it’s something he doesn’t know, he knows a professional that can help. He didn’t sugar coat anything and he removed the emotions out of the process.

I've been working with Attorney Andy Brown for approximately 6 years. He's handled my divorce and custody cases. He has always been there when I needed him and I am confident that he's helped me achieve the best possible results.
To say that my ex is "high conflict" would be putting it mildly. For 6 years she would "ride the line" of what she thought she could get away with (calling the police/CPS for trivial matters, trying to drive a wedge between my sons and I, etc).
In the end, Attorney Brown was able to facilitate a reversal of custody through trial. I now have primary physical custody of my two sons.
Attorney Brown not only understands the application of the law in these matters, but also has a keen awareness of the norms and expected outcomes of the York County Judicial system. He's been doing this a long time and it shows. When judges and lawyers need a lawyer, they call Andy Brown.

Sonia Wise is an incredible lawyer. She will fight for your and she wins cases. I consulted with other lawyers who said that Dauphin County CYS will basically roll you and you can't win. Writing a review of an attorney after the outcome of a case by its nature lends itself to being heavily biased. Adding to it, is the emotional tension of the issues which brings someone to a family law practice in the first place. And while everyone's case is different, I can state unequivocally Mr. Demmel was the exact attorney I needed at the time. Some may criticize him for not being a "shark," but his website makes it very clear about his methods, beliefs, and processes. In short, Jim deals in objective facts, which is what the law does. His process experience, calm demeanor, and willingness to listen were highly valued character traits which helped me through this entire process. I don't wish divorce/custody on anyone having gone through it myself, but if you believe you deserve a fair shake in the eyes of the court, I would recommend Jim Demmel without hesitation.

To start off Mr. Moody changed my life! He was easy to talk too, fast in responding (even when I wasn't), patient, answered every question I had, I felt completely free from judgment. There was never a feeling as though I was alone in the more formal aspects of the case. His fee truly was quite low in comparison to others, and what you expect. In reality this small price can get your financial freedom back. I would recommend him to anybody reading this. I also did the same, scouring through 30 different lawyers all becoming a blur. I turned to Bob DiOrio to help me through a very emotionally charged custody relocation case, and Bob represented our family interests in both a professional and personal manner. I had an impossible case where I lost terribly every time I went to court. Eventually I would run out of money and then I would have to represent myself until I had enough money to get another lawyer. This went on for 10 years. Finally I met someone who was friends with one of the most powerful lawyers in Philadelphia. Through him, I was referred to Robert DiOrio. When I went into Mr. DiOrio's office, I could not see my children at all. I was only allowed to speak to them on a speaker phone with my ex-husband listening. This went on for about a year. He had gotten an Emergency Custody Petition that was granted without a hearing. He had used this tactic a total of four times and the order of his choice was signed every time without a hearing. I had been a full time mother with small children. I never guessed that I would lose my children when attempted to escape my abusive marriage. Later I found out the 94 percent of women who leave their abusive husbands lose custody and most of them are given supervised visitation. When Robert DiOrio heard about my case and saw the court order, he was outraged. He took my case to court and I got custody of my children. I went from nothing to everything. Lawyers in the past told me the best I could ever get was joint because you can't go from nothing to everything. Robert DiOrio did and he won. Since that time, we were in court again and Robert Diorio won an even greater victory. I respect him and am so grateful for the time I now have with my children. I never want another lawyer.

Some of the Attorneys in this law firm are con artists. Trying hard to make my friends give up their property to their client’s that has no legal right. I have never ever seen unprofessional attorneys in my life. I don’t know how many clients they have conned. They shouldn’t be allowed to practice in the US, they are rogue attorneys.
I have been privileged enough to read the communications between them and my friends and I couldn’t believe my eyes. How do people like this get away with such blatant disregard of the law.

I found Attorney Spivak through a Google search with the criteria, “impossible PFA cases”. His name popped up and I gave him a call. Long story short, he literally won an impossible PFA case. This man is legit. My fiancé has been in custody courts for 3 and a half years, and this man proved his case with one PFA hearing. I would also say that anyone who may have very complicated custody cases, to talk to Mr Spivak. He’s highly knowledgeable, and this man actually CARES about his clients. He will go to bat for you, he is very direct, and he will tell you what to expect.
I say this with the most sincerity, I do not trust, like or even respect most attorneys. I have never had good experiences with most of them. I feel like they take your money , and that’s it. But this man is the real deal. I would highly recommend Attorney Spivak for any custody/PFA related cases. If I could give ten stars, I would.

Back in February we consulted with Troy about my fiancé's case that seemed almost impossible. His family and myself almost lost hope that my fiancé wasn't going to be able to change his status due to some legal issues he was facing. We contacted roughly about 20 lawyers none that wanted to take his case. They all told us that it was a loss cause and to not waste our time or money because the case was not going to be won. It seems like most lawyers do not care about you, and are just in it for the money, and to get your case done with as quickly as possible. Lauren is a great lawyer and was really supportive throughout my messy, long and difficult divorce, custody and child support case in 2012. When I had my second DUI, Mr.Martini was very helpful. He got me the lowest penalty. I did no jail time for my second offense but I was on house arrest for 10 days, had to take classes (wasn't too bad), 80 hours community service, and . This was not bad considering the many people I talked to during my community service either had to do some amount of time in jail for a second DUI offense or they had house arrest for 30-60 days, some even had both. I managed not to drink and drive anymore, it's really not worth risking the lives of others besides a lot of money I had to put out.

I was referred to junker and Shotto by a existing law firm that I was using in Scranton at the time Mike Shotto was asked to help on my case in an attempt to straighten out the legal mess that I had gotten into with moving from the area. Before the custody hearing was heard when I relocated back to Oklahoma my ex has been on very amicable terms and was Allowing me to leave the state with the children he later objected. I retained Mrs. Voit in 2007 for a petition to relocate my children. She did not waste my money and has good relationships with other attorneys. This relationship with opposing cousel, who is known for being obstinate, really paid off. We had a meeting and she calmy laid out a fair offer and walked the opposite side into her offer. I got everything I wanted and made some concessions that didn't hurt.
She kept me reasonable and squished my desire to "win" against my ex, but kept it about the kids.
She is fiesty and very busy. You must stay on top of her is all I would caution.
