Hiring Steve Epstein to help me with the many issues that I was facing regarding a very complicated and messy divorce that included a wide array of valuable assets-- a very successful company, multiple homes, expensive cars, dozens of accounts of all types, in addition to his help in regards to custody, a DWI case, being in a 5 week coma, and steering me out of significant life or death substance abuse issues, was one of the best decisions I have ever made.
Steve is a zealous advocate for his clients. He is also a brilliant strategist, and his organizational skills and preparedness were top caliber. Simply put, I honestly do not even know if I would alive to write this review if it wasn't for Steve. He has also been a great mentor, and has helped me in understanding how to be a better father for my little girl, and a better person overall. I will forever be grateful for having him by my side during the darkest, most tumultuous time of my life. He is as good at what he does as anyone I have ever met.

My personal experience with Nancy was phenomenal. She always listened and provided honest, transparent information about my options and our path through the separation/divorce process. Nancy was always responsive to my questions and needs. She routinely kept me informed and provided all legal documents I would need for the future. Although the process was filled with anxiety and stress, Nancy and her paralegal, Erin, made the process smooth and eased my anxiety and stress. Nancy Grace and her paralegal Erin were excellent handling my QDRO after my previous attorney messed things up. Their communications and work were clear and efficient. Even though Nancy is not the cheapest attorney, she made most of the time that was charged. I only wish Nancy Grace had represented me through my divorce. It would have costed a lot less. I am glad I listened to recommendations from other attorneys to work with Nancy.

Nancy Grace took care of everything!
She had the knowledge and experience to guide me through my difficult divorce. My Ex did not want to give me alimony and we had to fight an almost 2 year battle. But we prevailed and I am able to live comfortable now versus my fear of struggling to get by! She was able to calm me down when I was upset, talk me down when I felt like I couldn't go on, and lift me up when I was defeated.

He tried his best to keep our divorce outside the courtroom and attempted to guide us to reach a mutually acceptable agreement. When eventually we ended up having to go to court, he came with clear and focused strategies for each court date. Mariana has represented me for almost a decade starting with my separation in 2013. Unfortunately, I’ve needed her assistance navigating a difficult physical and legal joint custody of 4 children ever since. We’ve been through 2 parental coordinators (do not recommend), mediation, custody modifications and addendums, depositions of my ex and his multiple live in girlfriends (my personal favorite strategy), police and CPS involvement and attempted restraining orders. Much more but after awhile it’s just embarrassing.
Mariana has a good memory for my case which is super thick at this point. She once read 8 years of our family wizard emails before a deposition. Mariana has a good working relationship with her industry colleagues (when my ex hires and fires new attorneys Mariana gets them up to speed). Mariana is logical and non reactive. She thinks in terms of moves and counter moves.
If you are looking for revenge and want a man hating bulldog that will bury your opposition in motions and BS I would keep looking. Marina isn’t going to be your big sister, BFF or your therapist and charge you for it. If you want a thoughtful, smart, and responsive attorney that will represent your interests she’s a good person to have in your corner.

There is not enough room on this review to point out all the ways Mariana Godwin exceeded my expectations!
I am the father of a 6 year old girl, whose mother decided to cut me out of her life. For months, she did not allow me to have any communication, or visits with my daughter.
Mariana proceeded through the custody process extremely efficiently. All the email, calls, and discussions were extremely productive and led to a very strong case in court. Mariana is caring, extremely responsive (a rare trait in attorneys, i find), smart, well connected, and delivers results. More importantly, she is also very good at setting realistic expectations and wading through her client's emotions to tease out the facts and usable information. She prepared me well for my court date, always explained each step of the process very clearly, and made sure I was aware of all possible outcomes at all times (which greatly reduces surprises in an already emotionally difficult time).
In a scary and emotional time for me, Mariana provided guidance and results at lighting speed. The court awarded me more than I had hoped for, and I could not be any happier.
Some people are just excellent at their jobs-Mariana is one of them. You cannot go wrong with hiring her as to represent you in your family matter. It literally changed my life, and my daughter's.

Let's face it, finding a lawyer for any reason can be very stressful. I'm here to say, Mary and her team exceeded my expectations of a law firm. Mary takes every case with a level of passion and dedication that makes you feel very comfortable with trusting her with your case. She reads and responds to every email, document, and question. She made me feel as though I was the only customer. LJ, by far, is the most diligent, calm, and industrious paralegal. I've worked directly with her for over a year and everyday she deposited something valuable into my case. She not only assisted Mary but she was an integral part to my own preparation. Mary was very direct and clear about her recommendations, but was also willing to do whatever I asked during a very complicated custody, equitable distribution and divorce process. She was supportive and has a great sense of humor. She has good relationships with her legal counterparts, which ultimately makes the most difference in and out of court. Wendy was also very responsive and helpful. Since this was a complex case, there were some things that did not turn out as expected, but Mary and Wendy were always upfront with me and walked through what the next steps would be. The only feedback for improvement would be occasionally administrative things were a little disorganized (for instance forgetting to correct errors in paperwork, disposing of the wrong document, having to do some things while I waited rather than having it ready), but there was nothing that impacted the case negatively. Overall, they took care of whatever needed to happen and made sure my best interests were covered.

I had a very cantankerous case with Mike that meandered through the Family Court system for several years, and I couldn't think of a better attorney to have by my side. He has an great understanding of the laws (obviously), but more importantly the intricacies of the "system": the policies and procedures the Courts and Judges follow in the administering of the cases...this may seem insignificant, but generates many opportunities to grab the upper hand in negotiations. Most importantly, he commands respect from the Judges and the Court system, as they know he has a deep reservoir of knowledge/understanding and is a very respectful presence in their courtroom.
Mike is good at devising legal strategy, and explaining the possible outcomes of your case (he can't, after all, predict the way the Judges will decide on this issue or that). He presents his cases not with fiery oration, but with the technical skill of a surgeon.
On top of all this, he's a great guy, and I believe he doesn't take cases unless he believes he can make a difference.
