I couldn't see the light to the other side when struggling with how to continue as I had been in long and drawn-out divorce and custody situation. I no longer had the initial lawyer on my case. There was a lot that had already been done yet i felt like a stranger in my own case. I had so many questions that were never answered. I was never educated or informed and felt as if I wasn't being listened to. Having a hard time knowing I would need a lawyer to continue with mycase as I had lost any trust within the law the system and especially lawyers. A lot of money out and several hearings with no end. After meeting and hiring Savannah at the Rebecca Carrillo’s law firm back in September 2018 I am very please and happy with my results. Along with a very respectable team, she was amazing! I never thought I would have to go through a Divorce/ Child support, but Savannah made it as smooth as possible and understanding and fast. Her fast response to communication won me over. She worked with me diligently and never made me feel overwhelmed. The office provided me with packets on what to expect, review and study. Mr. Garcia is amazing! He is easy to communicate with and extremely knowledgeable. The mother of my son and I have been in court a year to date fighting over the custody of our 14 year old son. Once I got engaged and moved in with my fiance (now wife) she told me I couldn't see him again. Prior to my engagement I always had our son and his little brother (her child from a previous relationship) to help her out. I went from always seeing my son (prior to engagement), to never seeing my son, to eight hours a week on the weekend, to 50/50 in the summer time, to extended standard and now full custody.
Larry is an exceptional and well respected attorney. In the beginning I was so angry about what was going on and Larry advised me to keep my cool and let him "be the attorney". There aren't enough words to describe the joy I feel coming home every day to my son and having our family complete. Thank you, thank you, thank you Larry for all you have done and are doing! I am recently a young single mom who is going through legal custody of my son. This woman is a Godsend. So I lived in a really really really bad neighborhood ran by some incredibly currupt,shady and just down right petty slum Lord scum bags that were trying to unlawfully evict me. He used excellent outside the box tactics to compel the best possible results to my case. It really was epic honestly my lack of sleep due to stress was a blessing because watching the man work it'd be very hard to not react like the audience of a roast who just witnessed a really good burn. Now im happy to say that iv gotten everything lined up and paid for to move well before deadline to a very very nice spot and I'll definitely recommend him to anyone needing any kind of litigation and honestly would love to watch this attorney and see how he does other cases because he's got some moves it really was truly impressive. Going through a divorce is not the time period where my head was clearest or my manners the most polite. I needed time without getting hit with a lot of calls.
Steve was available to me and not the other way around. This meant so much at a time not much respect was coming my way. When I needed him he would meet after hours and work on my case for as long as needed.
Steve is an attorney who is absolutely present when working on your case with you. He is very open and aware of the amount of time each different option will take, will cost.

I’m going through a very high-conflict and complex divorce with a child, property and businesses. Mr. Levinson assisted with my divorce. Until it happens to you, you do not realize what an emotional and very hard process it is to go through a divorce. It's huge. David really made sure I knew what would happen next, timelines and deadlines and why certain procedures took place. He carefully walked me through every step of the process. I cannot say enough good things about Clepper Harrison & Duffy PLLC. From start to finish, I experienced the upmost professionalism and compassion. I ended every interaction with confidence and certainty. At the end of every call, Chanda and I both had clear expectations on what to do next--I had my tasks, she had hers, and every time we followed up, we were on the same page. She and her team are highly prepared, proficient, prompt, and consistent. I appreciated that the billing information was explained so well that I never felt like I had to wonder how much things were going to cost. I was billed on the 1st and the 15th of every month, and I personally loved that consistency. Although I have never worked with attorneys before, my personal opinion was that their fees were extremely fair and honest. Each bill had a running record of every item they completed, with times, dates, and explanations. I loved their practicality of providing phone calls and zoom calls, rather than meeting in person. My whole divorce was handled over phone calls/zooms and I never had to step foot into a court room. Although everyone's experience is different, I was able to complete an amicable, uncontested divorce that was finalized in just over 60 days. Patricia Jay was a wonderful attorney for my divorce and custody case! Her and her office staff were incredibly helpful and attentive to me and the case. We encountered quite the few bumps in my case due to the other half not being in the country and out of reach. I got James as my attorney after my final agreement had been signed. James had to fight to get the final agreement changed because I would have been paying her bills for the rest of her life. He worked with me when my money ran out and trusted I would pay him later. He discounted my fees because he knew I had been taken advantage of. He gave me other legal advice not related to divorce. When you are with James you really feel like he is on your side and not just trying to close a deal. The only problem is he is so good that he stays busy a lot. Do yourself a favor if you need a divorce attorney. Hire James.

I would never wish a divorce or child custody case on anyone. It is one of the most mental exhausting and emotionally draining things a parent can experience. I spent a good deal of time researching lawyers and having consultations meetings to find the best fit for me. I chose Randy because he was the only one that shot me straight. He laid out how things would go and never gave me false hope. He was the best decision I could’ve made for my case. Was in his office almost 25 minutes before telling him that I don’t think he is what I was looking for. At the front I asked about the refund and you can tell his frail ego was hurt and said we don’t do that. And I explained then I was lied to and that now I feel conned into making the appointment because I never would have accepted knowing the truth. Said to contact billing and she was just plain rude. She then said that “I am just mad because he wouldn’t take my case” lol oh honey I’m sorry I think you have it twisted but it’s his weak frail male ego that is mad that I didn’t want him. She then dismissed me rudely. Maybe he needs the extra cash because he is the least paid lawyer in that office and was able to take my appointment instantly so that speaks volumes for his books. Maybe he will use the cash to tailor his poorly fit suit. I have the original phone call recorded on my home security cameras to prove I was told about the refund policy and I have the appointment voice recorded because I sometimes forget everything that was talked about during any sort of appointment and like to reference back, so I have time stamps and everything for the record

If I could give 0 stars I would. Absolutely THE problem when it comes to attorneys this day and age.(maybe it’s just with men). If you want a game where you're being strung along and billed forever playing the rollercoaster game with you and your children's life instead of evidence being presented in a costly/timely and empathetic manner THIS IS YOUR GUY. Mr. Bancroft, i just got off the phone with you where you hung up on me stating that I’m threatening you. Get over your ego and realize that your business as a practicing attourney needs realignment. I wrote you about a standing invoice you provided totaling to less than the amount that Ive paid to you months prior with no response. After speaking to your paralegal, then being transferred to your “billing dept.” and speaking to them I was provided with a newer invoice…..with newer charges, where whomever was working before had originally just simply “forgot to send me the invoice”….what a convenient coincidence. After speaking with her, I was transferred to you where I had a conversation with your ego. Well, from the little guy(s) down here Mr. Bancroft, do whats right and fabricating invoices to skip out on paying balances owed on any moneys paid to you for the services that you DID NOT PROVIDE are just not that. Client paid $1750 in retainer fees(half of your 3500 to get the case started) and had to chase said attourney down for enquiries with little to no communications outside of ones that were initiated by me/client, INCLUDING in person conversation with YOU where I unexpectedly paid a visit to your office in August after I could not successfully contact anyone and asked about a status of my case. You did not recall my case by name until we went to your office and you searched my name.(keep in mind, this is three months after contracting). Attourney invoicing per attourney-client portals all state work for balance of $753, with latest payment from client being $631 in October.(this never happened, only payment made was the initial one and didn't make another due to subpar and in my opinion MALPRACTICAL, I'm aware that isn't an official word, service). After a few months of calling and majorly being placed on hold, back and forth’s with promises of returned calls or motions with paralegals, multiples of them and finally being frustrated with the reality of paying an attourney and not being fought for……while fighting a vindictive situation with my children as a GREAT DAD I asked for an explanation stating that if I did not hear anything as ai had been I wanted to discontinue services and be refunded via message inside of the client portal, I THEN was given a response…..but not with accountability, not with a plan of action, not to communicate any valuable evidence or structured plan of action, but to speak downward of me on the “dismal” months of non-payment……….ultimately this attourney demanded I paid him his past due amount, in addition to totals for mediations that hadn't even been had yet to avoid him WITHDRAWING. Needless to say I attended the mediation PRO SE, paid the mediator directly. I’m now on maximum state mandated child support and standard visitation for the children I equally raised because the relationship did not work out with their mother…finally divorced none the less. All of the evidence in the world to fight that good fight never presented, never saw a represented court setting, money just wasted and thank GOD I demanded a standard or it could have been MUCH MUCH worse financially. Contracted with this attourney on 5/24/2024….attourney withdrew as of 11/5/2024, yet they have still attempted to withdraw payment from my bank as of latest, 12/19/2024…….this was my SECOND attourney over a course of what I recall as a 3 year nightmare……I can confidently say, this is whats wrong with the family law system! Will edit with photo documentation when I have time.

Ashely suggested that I deserved money the OAG was holding and that I should definitely get an attorney. Went to court and not only did I not get any of the money, I owed more than I was told when I had gone to court on my own behalf 3 months earlier.
Five years later, I am still dealing with this nightmare because even though I have contacted the office to tell them I want them off the case, the OAG’s office STILL has them listed as my attorney and will discuss nothing with me regarding child support.
I have been through the Bexar County Courts regarding child support with attorneys and alone. Trust me! You do not need an attorney the majority of the time. Had I not hired this woman, who did not even go before a judge for me, I would have been better off! Paying child support and her? No! Save your money and your sanity if you’re in a situation where you need a lawyer who will be comfortable before a judge.
