Rachel provided me with support and encouragement through the most difficult time of my life. My divorce was a nightmare & she was there to walk me through it spending the necessary time on the phone or in person that I needed. She gave it to me straight and didn't just tell me what I wanted to hear, she was honest and up front and I appreciated that very much! She looked out for me on the cost side of things & always showed compassion for my situation. In the end, I walked away with a smile because she fought for me & won in areas I wasn't expecting to have favor in. I highly recommend Rachel Reuter as a family and child custody attorney. After a yearlong nightmare with another attorney and difficult divorce/custody case, I’m so thankful I have Rachel on my team. My past struggles included: enforcement, numerous false CPS allegations, and a lengthy home study. Rachel was able to remedy the situations immediately. She is extremely proactive, takes the initiative, and does her best to ensure that my custody is enforced. She and her team eagerly took on my case and aggressively got my children back in my life. She is on point with her communication and always does her own research. I believe she is very fair with her billing practices. Rachel is competent and provides me with necessary advice for legal decisions. She will be on my case in the future. I’m only disappointed that I hadn’t found her sooner. She looks out for my family’s best interest and I would recommend her to anyone going through divorce and child custody.

I retained Mrs. Reuter after a friend of mine highly recommended her. I must admit at first I was a little skeptical since I had to fire my first attorney after spending $4000 for one day in court. To my surprise that all changed. After only spending ten minutes with Rachel I knew she was the lawyer I needed in my corner. Rachel is a compassionate and highly skilled attorney who is currently assisting me through a very traumatic divorce. My divorce was very complicated due to my ex husband unwilling to be fair in any aspect you can imagine. She is very patient and has not given up on my case, even when I felt like just giving it all up to my ex-husband. Rachel has not only played the attorney role but has also been there when I needed a shoulder to cry on. She reassured my everything would be ok and she had no intentions on letting up on my case despite all that has gone on.
I must also mention Catilin (her paralegal) she is a compliment to Rachel's firm. She is always on top of everything and always makes sure to inform me of what is going on at all times whether it be by e-mail or text. Emily is an absolutely amazing and professional attorney! I had met with several attorneys and some were not a good fit and others were intimidated by my special circumstances case. As soon as I met with Emily and Amanda, I knew I was in the right place. They both were motivated to help me get child support from someone who knew how to evade the system (he owed over $40k in back child support). Emily did her homework and made sure he did not evade the system anymore and helped me finally start receiving child support in a short time period. I am very thankful that Emily was diligent, efficient and knowledgeable in every aspect.

Just spoke to this law firm, I would not reconnect this law firm. Stay far away. Their first duty is to the court, if a judge tells any one of their lawyers not to wear a certain suit again they will bend over backwards. Their duty is not in the best interest of the child but to the court first! Do not hire this firm, they will not argue your case in court. They will let the judge violate your rights and help them do it. When I heard this from their attorney during the consultation I immediately asked where is the duty to your client and the best interest of the child? She hung up. When a lawyers says their first duty is to the court that means you should run! Don’t be to quick to hire an attorney, look around ask questions because lawyers like these will backstab their clients!

I had a Family Law issue (custody) that I didn’t know how to navigate, and on a Saturday morning I called and emailed several Law Firms… within hours, the only Law Firm that responded by an actual call back and not an automated message was Brandon Wong himself.
I got to explain my circumstance and he was upfront and honest about what they could do. I ended up hiring Brandon Wong and his firm to handle my case with all of its complexity and got results!
I will say that Family Law will never go as you think, nor is it anything a Google search will enlighten or prepare you for.
My attorney Dana Burket was phenomenal in her understanding, knowledge and guidance through the entire process of a very complicated custody situation. I’m thankful for all of the extraordinary effort and personal dedication that Dana provided resulting in the safety and wellbeing of my son, of which I now because of her, have primary custody of!

If you want a good outcome from your divorce I suggest you look elsewhere. Mr. Marley was unreachable most of the time and did not respond to phone calls, emails, or text messages. When I hired him he insisted he would fight for me and my children but in the end he did not. All he wanted to do was settle. I would have had a more favorable outcome representing myself. Worst attorney I have ever had.

It was the day before the Final Hearing, and I still needed to complete the Exhibits. I had also failed to do a transcript notebook that was needed for Final Hearing.
The truth be told, I was at rock bottom, my husband had just abandoned the children and I. During this time, Ms. Vance hugged me as I cried my eyes out.

Absolutely recommend getting a consultation from Lisa if you need a family lawyer. We have been fighting for custody to protect my special needs son and she listened to us and took the time to guide us in the right direction. Mr. Briones is a generic result attorney that totally got annihilated in court JP3 04/13/21
He was representing my family members in a civil suit and even got their name incorrect.
Briones was unprepared and tried to scam Judge Wentworth into believing that only one person was on a deed to a home in dispute as if the other ex spouse was not on the deed at all. When the Judge called him out in it, Briones stumbled in his words saying he misunderstood.
Briones did not even have the divorce Decree with him that literally won the case for the opponent .
He told the Judge he did not know what was on it and got annihilated once again when the Judge had the copy of the decree and told him that his name was on it. He had signed it, yet had pretended he was unaware of the stipulations on it that favored the opponent and the case was lost for Briones.
I believe the Judge could see through Briones right away and his credentials were immediately lost.
This attorney is exactly the kind of attorney to avoid.

I went to see Mr. Briones for a consultation in December of last year. My ex wife was moving to Laredo and taking our son to go live over there. I asked Mr. Briones for help and he recommended that we file for a modification to have my son come live me with and not have to go to Laredo. It seemed impossible and I never thought I would have a chance but Mr. Briones was very certain that we could fight for this. I didn't have very much money to pay for a retainer so he asked for a little up front and put me on a payment plan. We went to court a few times and at the last hearing we won. My son now lives with me full time and I couldn't ask for a better lawyer on my side then Ricardo Briones.

I contact this law firm Joel to be exact, because he was working with my father before he died trying to locate property in Medina County. Joel charged me for the same work he did for my father. He made it seem as if the research was new. He is very unethical and a scam artist. Stay away from this crooked lawyer.

BEWARE of Michael Dominick
let me save you your time and money before even considering using Michael Dominick for your services. First of all the receptionist who was very sweet I believe is coached to say whatever it takes to schedule the appointment. I was lied to, to feel comfortable enough to make the appointment. Was told the hourly rate and I said oh I most likely will only take up no more then 20 minutes, I only wanted to ask a couple of questions. She said no problem they will refund for whatever time I don’t use. Which is the only reason I agreed to the appointment. I was there on time, was made to wait cause he was “consulting with a colleague” I was told, which was fine, walked into his office 15 minutes later. Was in his office almost 25 minutes before telling him that I don’t think he is what I was looking for. At the front I asked about the refund and you can tell his frail ego was hurt and said we don’t do that. And I explained then I was lied to and that now I feel conned into making the appointment because I never would have accepted knowing the truth. Said to contact billing and she was just plain rude. She then said that “I am just mad because he wouldn’t take my case” lol oh honey I’m sorry I think you have it twisted but it’s his weak frail male ego that is mad that I didn’t want him. She then dismissed me rudely. Maybe he needs the extra cash because he is the least paid lawyer in that office and was able to take my appointment instantly so that speaks volumes for his books. Maybe he will use the cash to tailor his poorly fit suit. I have the original phone call recorded on my home security cameras to prove I was told about the refund policy and I have the appointment voice recorded because I sometimes forget everything that was talked about during any sort of appointment and like to reference back, so I have time stamps and everything for the record
Save yourself your time and just go somewhere else. He is smug and arrogant and likes the sound of his own voice because I tried to cut off the appointment much sooner as I realized ten minutes in he was not for me but he likes to go round and round repeating himself, probably to rack up the bill and justify himself. I will be going to everywhere and anywhere to leave my review, google, yelp, Reddit, Justia, Avvo, every San Antonio group on Facebook. I will google San Antonio lawyer review sites and leave my experience so people can take from it what they will.

Edited. I've still never been there. I still get asked by Google for a review almost daily. Hopefully, this edited post will stop Googles inquiries. Please know that despite Mr McKinney's present overwhelming situation, he took the time to respond to me on Google and with an email. He even sent me references for my case since he was not taking on any more new clients. NOW that's a lawyer with integrity!! And if you have his office retained, then be blessed for him representing you.

And I explained then I was lied to and that now I feel conned into making the appointment because I never would have accepted knowing the truth. Said to contact billing and she was just plain rude. She then said that “I am just mad because he wouldn’t take my case” lol oh honey I’m sorry I think you have it twisted but it’s his weak frail male ego that is mad that I didn’t want him. She then dismissed me rudely. Maybe he needs the extra cash because he is the least paid lawyer in that office and was able to take my appointment instantly so that speaks volumes for his books. Maybe he will use the cash to tailor his poorly fit suit. I have the original phone call recorded on my home security cameras to prove I was told about the refund policy and I have the appointment voice recorded because I sometimes forget everything that was talked about during any sort of appointment and like to reference back, so I have time stamps and everything for the record
Save yourself your time and just go somewhere else. He is smug and arrogant and likes the sound of his own voice because I tried to cut off the appointment much sooner as I realized ten minutes in he was not for me but he likes to go round and round repeating himself, probably to rack up the bill and justify himself. I will be going to everywhere and anywhere to leave my review, google, yelp, Reddit, Justia, Avvo, every San Antonio group on Facebook. I will google San Antonio lawyer review sites and leave my experience so people can take from it what they will.

Hired sralla with a $5k cash retainer for my divorce.
How much work did he do? Only filed my divorce petition.
Never answered my calls or emails.
Then he assigned another attorney to my case.
Complete waste of time.
Go elsewhere.
Stay away from sralla and his office.
He'll have you talk and talk while running the meter on your retainer all the while pretending to care about you, but it's only your money he cares about.

Kevin Sralla had my case lost before it even began. He is not knowledgeable in family law , he isn’t even aware that in custody, a client has an option to choose a jury trial instead of a bench trial in Texas. Allowed opposing attorney to set up everything on a timeline that wasn’t even feasible , the other attorney saw how little he knew about family law and took full advantage from the start. My new attorney has undone most of the mistakes that were made by Kevin and we still have a chance in this case. Had I kept Kevin as my attorney , this matter would of been over with 6 months ago and me and my children would of been in a much worse situation than when we began. At the initial consultation, I let him know we were dealing with a very high conflict individual and I needed the best. Instead of admitting this was something way beyond his ability and referring me on , he just happily took my retainer and still has it , 10 months after I hired him. I have never received a final bill or refund. I don’t want this to happen to anyone else.

Unfortunately, I've had a long and trying custody battle over a stretch of 10 plus years. I've dealt with a handful of attorneys over that time and Clint is far and away the best. He's understanding, direct, competent, and sincere. That last one is really a breath of fresh air. Extremely slow on preparing and filing for a case. Very expensive was being charged $100 per text message that went to her paralegal. When it came time for the case she was to busy and had to pass my case off to another lawyer. With other lawyer we basically had to start all over as she was not involved or familiar with my case from the beginning. All of this was being charged to me so it was like I had to pay for two lawyers. When the court date finally arrived the new lawyer which was Miss Day appointed by Miss Cruz was very unknowledgeable and the case was thrown out. I wouldn’t hire either of them two as all they do is try and drag it out as long as possible to be able to charge you more hours.

Kay's office was highly proficient at obtaining the upfront retainer fees and ongoing high legal fees. They were timely in submitting paperwork. In the end, Kay provided little value beyond what a paralegal could have done, or a discount law office doing family law. When it was time to go before the judge, she had done no research on who would be hearing the case. She told me that she had prepared for a different judge, and now we were unlikely to win. She was correct. If you simply need paperwork filed on time, Kay seems like an expensive person to do this. If you need well-researched legal assistance, you should seek it elsewhere.

My ex wife and I had a custody order that not even four months old when Kay helped me file for temporary custody under emergency circumstances. Needless to say she was like a brick wall, anything they tried to overturn the order was denied. We ended up coming to an agreement for 50/50 custody. She worked with me so I could afford her services and took my case on at a moment's notice. My attorney Brooke Irey from this firm refused to represent me claiming I agreed to her withdrawal, however a judge has never approved that withdrawal. She got me locked out of my home that I have exclusive rights to until it sells. She risked mine and my sons lives to date by not writing up and delivering the judges orders Overall sneaky grimy shady business. All this because 7500.00 was not enought to write up a judges court order from 07/2023 according to her. That was not part of the 75000.00

Michelle Lanfear was referred to me by another attorney. My first impression was that she was aggressive and attentive. Nothing could have been further from the truth. She was never around for anything, highly impatient, and let my ex-wife's attorney run all over her. Her employee was extremely rude to me and threatened me on several occasions.
