Unfortunately I had an incredibly prolonged divorce. I hired more than one attorney to represent me. My biggest regret is that I did not call MS Jesse Morris first. She did an amazing job correcting the mess my previous attorneys created, and she literally pulled opposing counsel across the finish line.
Do not waste time looking anywhere else, Jesse Morris should be your first call.

I had a problem with a matter concerning child support and there was immediate urgency in the matter. Court was going to present my case within five days. By chance, I ran into Mr. Dupree and he reviewed my file. He listened and assessed my situation. Then he crafted a solution and told me what to do (He told me to do very few things - for the most part he worked his magic :-). Mr. Dupree went to court and got the child support matter dismissed.
If you want a great attorney who is extremely knowledgable of the law and skillful in executing a winning strategy for his clients, hire him. He is great at what he does. I recommend Mr. Dupree whole-heartedly in any aspect of the law.

We hired Mr. Thompson on a criminal case where our son was falsely arrested , where a witness lied about the conduct of my son . It seemed to us that Mr..Thompsonwas as outraged about the circumstances as we were and pursued the defense of the case with zeal , we did. It know if he did this for the money or for the fact that he was outraged by the case. We used this lawer in a very complicated custody case. We could not have asked for someone more dedicated to finding the best solution for both of the children involved. We were thrilled to win the case and now a brother and sister will get to grow up together. He was compassionate, when it was appropriate and very stearn when it was appropriate. Prepare for a long detailed review. They are worth it!!
During my long exstensive divorce...I found my circumstances were much more severe than expected. I reached out to a retired Knox Co. judge informing him my current dissatisfaction with the enigma of my case and previous attorney (NOT Luke) and the outcome of our future. The judge encouraged and edified Luke Shipley as the best and most qualified to get me the outcome that I needed for the protection and safety of my daughter and I. I hired Luke who at the time was with another law firm. I quickly noticed he was doing far more exstensive research, work, and digging then what was recorded on the law firms invoices. The complexity of my case was heart breaking and confusing. The paper trail alone was enough to cause high anxiety but not for Luke. Luke was fluid in his knowledge and expertise of the law able to stay ahead of the opponent. He brought in his powerful wife who was able to shed light on the criminal aspect of the case. I was beyond thankful when Luke and Megan began their own practice. By this time, Luke had already fixed the mess the previous attorney had made and began helping me undo all the emotional and mental control from my ex by shedding light on the truth and going to bat for me. the front office lady I spoke to was WONDERFUL and helped me so much.
BUT Jennifer was awful. I waited 2 hours 3 different times to speak with her and she never called. She finally did call and the 30 minute phone call was only 11 minutes because she didn't know anything about getting custody and had to talk to one of her other supervisors. I was needing help, I was desperate and she did not have the urge to do anything she had told me. She was EXTREMELY rude on the phone call and it was unacceptable. I then days later after waiting got told that she couldn't help me and recommended me to just do it on my own. I do NOT recommend this law firm or better yet Jennifer. She was not good at all.

Mrs. Bristol and her staff are excellent listeners. Our family has struggled with obtaining an appropriate and adequate placement in public education for several years, to no avail. I was told to call your office for help with dirty cops and criminal defense help. I called and left a message with a fellow that seemed interested in helping me. He said he couldn't make an appointment for me because that is the secretary's job and he would leave a message. NO ONE CALLED BACK OR RESPONDED TO ANY OF MY EMAILS. I just now called to get ahold of your secretary and she flat out stated that "you don't handle cases like mine, you only do family law... " Really? According to your website you do handle cases like mine. Your receptionist is a rude piece of work and I was referred to your office from another lawyer. Just thought you should know what your receptionist is doing, dictating what Jon's you and don't do. I was really depending on your help and I get pushed away from an employee that's NOT A LAWYER. Thanks for ruining any hope and trust I was hoping to find in your lawfirm.

Robert and Alysha are great and accomplished what a lot of people told me was almost impossible. I sold a car a few years ago and the person never registered the car and had an accident while it was still registered under me. Almost a year later I find of that my license was revoked. I didn't have proof that I had sold the car. I had over ten thousand dollars in damages that i would have to pay before getting my license back. They got everything cleaned up and I was able to get my license back. Thank you so much!!!!

Mr. Brinson helped me so much through my divorce. It was not something I ever thought I would go through, and Mr. Brinson was kind and understanding throughout the process. He answered my questions in a way that helped me understand some complicated things, but never made me feel dumb. I am disabled and Alex Brinson was assigned to me for divorce on a 30 year marriage from a husband that was controlling and abusive. When Alex told me he was dropping me because couldn't get husband served (even though husband in military) I didn't know what to do so I tried to find him myself (with backup assistance of course). When Alex found out he was extremely rude and told me I didn't act like an abused spouse and was a stalker. I cannot believe how rude and unprofessional this attorney was to me. He has no idea what I have been through and how controlling my husband was. I just want a divorce!!! Alex has no clue about military divorces nor what all was required when filing paperwork with the court. Don't expect him to go above and beyond for you or be professional. I don't even know why he works through legal aide if he doesn't plan on providing appropriate services. With his limited knowledge on divorce and rude demeanor I would never recommend him to anyone!

Mr. Fix was willing to look into and help me regarding my grandmothers estate. While I had trouble getting others to help or even listen, Mr. Fix actually took the time to look into the situation. He was willing to help sort out what was going on. He went above and beyond and helped me get answers. His assistance helped give me some closure and provided some much needed details into all that had occured.

This is the rudest most uncaring person I have ever met. He’s had my sister SS disability case for over 3 1/2 years. They missed SS deadlines and she’s paying the price. She loses health care in December. I tried to get an update on her case (with her permission) this attorney was angry that she had someone helping her. He refused to give any information even after my sister gave her approval to them. His front desk Sara was not professional she’s only been there 6 months. My sister has epilepsy, tremors, heart issues and more. She can’t work and trusted this attorney my recommendation is don’t trust this attorney.

I guess i didn't realize he only works for divorcee's, because its so hard to get a win for a woman in a divorce, LOL.
Likes to ask you questions then won't listen to answer, basically wants you to be his paralegal, i'm not a lawyer. I'm here to get legal answers.
Like a plumber, "So what's the problem?"
"Well the toilet is...."
"I don't have time to hear about this now, I've worked on sinks, but never toilets, not sure how i will figure it out? Are you wanting to divorce your toilet and take all his crap with you? because you found a new toilet that isn't out working to pay for everything all the time and you feel sad while spending all its money while sitting on every other toilet in town? I can do that.
What you need to do is learn all about toilets, read all the manuals pass the master plumber test and then report back to me what you found out, I can see you in a few weeks, mmk?"
"Ok, a few weeks till you can hear about my toilet?...but yes that's why i'm calling", I'd like to make an appt."
"Ok" then hangs up on you.
Good to know that all people in East TN, are slow witted, lazy, rude, lack critical thinking skills and think morals, character and bathing is optional.
Put down the case of natural light cans and pick up a book every now and then. Nevermind, it won't help.

She convinced my husband to divorce me out of nowhere and divorce is already stressful and hard enough but then has been advising him to use the worst dirty tricks in the book to further damage me emotionally. This woman has ruined a beautiful marriage and relationship that could have been salvaged as well as slandered both of our names and reputations through her poor use of rude strategies.

The worst lawyer and advice ever recieved I wasn't even working with her when she still continued to bill me. She had told me a number of times my retainer had ran out and she couldn't advice me anymore and then I recieved this bill that she's trying to put through to collections.
Also she will side with the other side. My baby daddy wasn't even showing up for court the easiest case ever he wasn't even involved in the childrens lives and I wanted passports and protection and needed proof of him NOT being an active father.
She did absolutely nothing and I have her $6K she's taking me to collections for $127. U guys think about how petty of a lawyer and hungry she is.

I am not a client, but a defendant in a case with T.J. Samson Community Hospital which this firm represents. This case is about collections which I talked to Crystal in billing about today. I’d like to first say, I am not upset my hospital bills were turned over to collections, and have no problem paying for them. I started out nice and eager to figure this all out and start paying my bills, however from the second the call started she was rude and carried a condescending tone. I have never dealt with a matter like this before, therefor I didn’t know what was expected of me, but I do know what’s expected of her considering she works in public service. Much like a child, she was quick to cut me off, talked to me like I was an imbecile, and raised her voice when I called her out for the way she was speaking to me. I am usually not one to complain but the matter was as simple as needing to know what payment to make and where and she could not get through a 5 minute conversation without being bitter and cold, even refusing my phone call when I had tried to reach her again to figure out what payment I agreed to. Although I cannot speak to the attorneys capabilities or manners, I’ve read the other reviews and it seems as though this place lacks severe communication skills and common decency.

10/10 recommend Mr. Mathis. He answered all our questions regardless how small they were and was super quick in answering back emails. I trusted him with my immigration process and have no regrets! We even moved across the country while our case was still pending, and Mr. Mathis was still able to represent us.
