Mr. Warmbrodt, Chelsea, Mayra, Kelli, and the entire office at Warmbrodt and Associates are the most knowledgeable and professional attorney’s office I’ve worked with. Please, take into account I’ve used attorneys for adoptions, severing/obtaining parental rights, divorce, criminal, and child custody arrangements. The amount of knowledge Mr. Warmbrodt can obtain and place into production is beyond impressive. Mr Warmbrodt and his team have helped me sort through mounds of information pertaining to my divorce, and two custody cases that are heading to trial. My cases are nothing short of complicated, and I am so thankful to have been referred to this office. I am writing this to make sure others don’t end up in the same situation as my husband and I did. My husband was diagnosed as terminal, we wanted to make sure all our affairs were in order before his passing. When we walked into Natalie Wallace’s office, we made it very clear that we wanted all documentation that would avoid probate upon his death. He passed and I contacted Natalie, and she indicated we would have to do probate to the tune of $4000. I made it clear she didn’t do what was requested and she apologized and took absolutely no ownership for her error. In working with a much more skilled attorney, I found out that Natalie should have done a “transfer on death deed” for our home, known as a “ladybird deed” in Texas. She had not once brought this up during our visit. So here I am having to pay even more money because she failed to do her job after paying to do our documents for passing. In addition, she didn’t even include an alternate for POA hence I had to redo my documents and pay once again.
She might be good with other types of law (not sure), but I would steer clear of her for any estate planning as she seems to be lacking on either listening to what her clients ask for, or skill in the area of estate planning. I don’t typically do negative reviews, but I didn’t want others to experience the same thing I had to. Go find someone else if you are doing estate planning.

Mr. Lister should be on the top of the Best Top Ten List for Rockwall County attorneys. I was part of a Court Watchers group in a different county and have seen the worst. Mr. Lister, a retired Marine, is a man of integrity who served his country well. I spent many hours researching other lawyers before choosing Mr. Mark Lister. The research paid off in spades. He worked with me to bring an end to a 48 year marriage. He was honest about the difficult months ahead and the best approach to a ending with mediation as opposed going to trial. Mr. Lister never hurried through a meeting over the very difficult financial issues. He returned calls and emails within a reasonable time, a major issue with many lawyers. Nothing was overlooked in the mediation and final decree. My final bill was more than fair for the amount of hard work he put in to my case.

I was very unhappy with my attorney Trenton Wright. At our first meeting we did paperwork on my assets and my wife's assets also. The attorney said it will be $2500.00 .He said, " this will be the easiest divorce ever. You both divided everything and have no custody battle since your son is over 18 " Trenton said we have to wait 60 days. He told me that in a week I ( Trenton ) will reach out to you to have paperwork to give to you so you can serve her. I waited a month . Then I called back. He also; said give me a week. Now I have the 3 sets of papers to serve my wife ( soon to be ex ). Me; like a man. I didn't read the papers. My wife ( ex) said that there were multiple mistakes. I called back to the office, then I spoke to his paralegal. We all got together at the office. Me , My wife and Trenton's paralegal. We showed her all of the mistakes. We were there for over an hour. Now I an told that I have an additional amount that I owe . My $2500 was paid long time ago. Now I was told by the paralegal that I have a outstanding balance of $1,017.72 .. when I got the 3 sets of papers. I assume that Trenton drew up these papers. It had our assets on there and other people's cars and someone else's house. THIS IS VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. CHARGING CLIANTS FOR THEIR MISTAKES. I WAS SCAMMED $1000 . I TOLD TRENTON ABOUT THIS. He said , you both come in. We will have a meeting FREE OF CHARGE. We both told him about all of the mistakes. We also took pictures of all of the mistakes before the paralegal took the paperwork back to correct them. He said that he will look into the charges. He said that the charges stays. ###### so a divorce that was supposed to be so easy, it will cost another $1000. I felt that someone was money hungry. All he had to do was just file the divorce. We had split all monies and asset between the both of us. We sold the house and split all money.
I would think twice before using this law firm. I would look elsewhere first.

The divorce process was much more challenging than I had anticipated. Esther was instrumental in getting the divorce done collaberatively, thus preventing litigation. I saw a couple positive reviews mentioning Slav after I contacted Walters Gilbreath to handle my case because I was too busy working to handle it myself, so I thought I was in good hands. Nope. There were many errors that I caught on paperwork he did.
Travis County made an error on the lien I had filed on my ex-husband’s house in 2015, and Slav basically said there was nothing I could do about that.
My ex-was trying to get me to drop the $1000/mo spousal maintenance because he had to go on disability. He hadn’t been paying anything for the past 8 years except for the 2 years he was garnished.
John Hennan was my ex-husband’s attorney and he kept making lowball offers that I had TOLD Slav I would not accept, but, to run up the bill with 6-min minimum calls, Slav would call me himself, saying he was obligated to present all offers. It was also interfering with my job, which was also a huge issue.
Luckily I had a friend in California who is an attorney and she was happy to read the documents that Slav sent, and pointed out several errors, and she made helpful recommendations.
As far as Travis county and the lien error, I used my lunch break to contact them, showed them the error, and told the clerk I needed the corrected lien ASAP because my ex- was trying to sell his house quickly through Zillow. The Travis Clerk was amazing. She not only made the correction, but she emailed and mailed a certified copy that I was able to send to Zillow.
I had to pay a $5000 retainer for someone to just use it all up and ask me to sign documents with errors.
I will never use this firm again.
I would have done it pro se if I didn’t live in WilCo and have a great day job.

I had a unique custody case that was a bit of an uphill battle for what I wanted to accomplish. Slav Talavera was incredible and got me AMAZING results and I was completely done within a few months. Winnie Bates “let me go” as a client after I questioned thousands in charges for time that simply and clearly was not spent, and time that undeniably did not need to be spent.
For example I was charged for her time to send me an email requesting I reschedule a meeting that SHE missed (no call no show). To top it off I had already rescheduled that meeting two days prior. I was billed for both her time and her paralegals time simultaneously through mediation so she could openly work on other cases to the point that she wasn’t even effective in mediation. She didn’t say a single thing in 3 hours that was either relevant to the conversation or to my feelings.
She did however share all her personal and professional correspondence via email, and instant message during those 3 hours because she was sharing her screen. Even after she was warned it was all coming up on my screen she continued to forget I was even in the office. She bad talked multiple in the process, shouting it across the office. It was a show to say the least.
After seeing it in person it was obvious why we had to have the EXACT same meeting 3 different times, not including consultation where we addressed the same facts. It was obvious why the process took 3 times longer than it should have. It was obvious that I wasn’t going to stand beside this bunch while the fate of the most important was decided.
I asked them to stop putting time into my case immediately. Once I had time to look over the charges I requested a meeting to talk about several particular discrepancies, she directly responded by dropped me as a client, no explanations. More than a month later, I get another bill from Winnie. She won’t stop making up things to bill for, and apparently forgotten who I am again, but she’s willing to write off that last bill if I remove my reviews.

Winnie came highly recommended by a former client who had a highly contested divorce. I also had a very complex, highly contested case. Prior to Winnie I had meet with and spoken to around 5 other attorney's before I decided to choose her. Winnie took the time to listen to my story, asking questions along the way and providing feedback. She was able to answer all of my questions and was very straight forward with my expected outcome. I felt very comfortable with Winnie and I knew she had me and my child's best interest at heart. The team over at CHA were absolutely fantastic! From start to finish they made sure that everything was just so and as a result I am legally me. 😊 Not only do I not dread social situations where I may be carded anymore, or going through the airport, I'm excited about being carded (which at 40 is no small feat 😅)
Are the services offered absolutely necessary? No, you can go through this process on your own, but their fees were not exorbitant by any stretch and they were work every penny for the peace of mind alone that it was being done right and wouldn't get kicked back.

Worse lawyer ever!! She is the most hands off attorney I ever met.our initial consultation was great she made me feel comfortable. Once I paid the retainer fee everything changed !! I learned during my mediation by the mediator that I had trial in less than a month! Why didn’t she prep me or tell me? We never prepped anything she never asked for evidence. The day after she dropped me as a client . She only collected money from me and left me. I got a new lawyer 2 weeks later and what took her 6 months , took my new attorney 2 months to accomplish. She is rude, she doesn’t answer calls or emails and gives you Attitude when you finally reach her. Needless to say I won with my new attorney so the best thing I got out of it was finding my new attorney who won the case.

I am an attorney and cpa. I have a real estate dispute with another attorney about the meaning of various contractual provisions related to a disputed transaction. I found a case which I believed indicated my client had treated the transaction properly. Opposing counsel believed the case said just the opposite. I engaged Jeff to give his expert opinion on the case. Not only did Jeff agree with my position and explain why, but he also found other grounds and cases which supported my argument that the client had treated the transaction properly. All in all an exceptional piece of work. I highly recommend Jeff.

This law firm is excellent. They (Mrs. Berbarie and her assistant) assisted me with my divorce after 20 years. She is extremely knowledgeable of the law and will do everthing by legal ways to make a divorce proceedings as smooth as possible. Absolute charlatans. Initially spoke with Kennedy who told me everything I wanted to hear and referred me to Alonzo. All I was asking for is to have the court and force my custody rights in the Texas divorce decree. After draining my wallet for $25,000 over 2 years my case never got in front of a judge. My ex-wife's crackerjacks lawyer from some legal.com website kept my lawyer on her heels the entire time. My lawyer also found inventive ways to charge me more money and get a psychiatrist friend of hers into my pocket as well. Adding insult to injury, a friend of mines mother works at a competing law firm and was blown away that Gray and Becker was so ineffectual over something so black and white as custody outlined in a divorce decree IN THE SAME STATE THE DIVORCE WAS PROPAGATED.

Very unprofessional. Paid to go to trail. Never heard from her up until the trial date where I asked if she would like to get with my witnesses and come up with a game plan for trial. She told me she was sick with pneumonia and influenza A and that it would get reset. Had scheduled work off but decided to go in because it was going to be “reset”. After texting multiple days and no response I had to call up court and they informed me that I did have court (the next day). We went to court unprepared and she showed up late (every other time she did also) and screamed at the judge that she had pneumonia and couldn’t talk. Mind you she is screaming. The judge told her it wouldn’t get reset without a Dr. note. Unbelievably, somehow she couldn’t come up with one, so they proceeded with trail. I ended up taking plea deal because I didn’t feel confident, having never had a meeting about trail. She told me she was ready to go, which completely contradicted what she had told the judge “I can’t do a trail today”. After this I decided I couldn’t trust her with my freedom and settled. Please don’t make the same mistake I did and further research an attorney who will fight for their clients and also communicate with them. WASTE OF MONEY. Find someone reputable.

A complete waste of time and money.
I had the misfortune of hiring Lisa and regret this decision deeply. From the start, she displayed a shocking level of incompetence that left me questioning her qualifications. Communication was practically non-existent. It felt like I was more of an annoyance than a client. Updates regarding the case were never provided and her excuses were never ending.
I have never seen a firm so unfazed by their own chaos. When it came time to represent me, she stumbled through petty arguments that lacked any coherence or depth.
Lisa only cares about her outrageous fees. Every interaction with her felt transactional, with no regard for my need or concern. No client/lawyer relationship and communication with Lisa is pretty much like walking on eggshells.
She is definitely a waste of time and money. Utterly useless.

This attorney is a Terrible person I had court August of 2023. The judge wouldnt even look at her! She failed to provide a court date for me after a Restraining order was put in place for 14days i never got a court date for that part!! She embarrassed me in my case.. she always seemed to go against me on conversations over the phone. Lisa brown Was never on my side Since my case started in 2021! I told her many times that this was affecting my family, i also was going through health issues at the time and she did not care she was extremely rude Towards me. I had the judge removed her as And I hired anyone! Removing her as an attorney was the best decision i ever made because my new attorney does a great job and helping me because Lisa brown did not Stand by her word! Lisa brown Was overly charging me for my case and always adding new fees and some scopes in my cases wasn't completes and she still wanted me to pay her?? 16,000 for modification in my case! This Attorney is money hungry and she's not out to help people. Lisa brown Has also created false advertisement online regarding her photo online as attorney .I meet her in person August 2023 for the first time all the other times where through conversations over the phone! She does not look like her photo on the advertisement.She posted online.This person lies a lot giving false images to people!!
