Ms. Williams and her team are absolutely exceptional! I needed her expertise due to my failure to disclose a juvenile matter. A matter in which I was told I didn’t need to from the counsel of a previous lawyer who worked that case many years ago. Ms. Williams understands the board on a level that many others do not. After my initial consultation, she went straight to work to construct an outstanding letter of explanation. The letter itself was thorough, thoughtful, and allowed me to finally be heard and be seen in a manner that not only granted me my ATT and license, but also a tool to help heal my wounds from the trauma that had occurred during that juvenile matter. Ms. Williams regularly followed up with the board and kept me in the loop throughout the entire ordeal. This office is so professional and truly care about their clients. I called in about four to five weeks ago and spoke with a Cassandra in reference to the loss of function in my great toe due to a doctors negligence. Cassandra laughed at me when I explained to her my situation, Cassandra also explained to me that it’s “all about money” when it comes to the business. A few days after I posted my review on Google Mr.Malone reached out to me condemning her actions and explaining to me how it works, and essentially it is about the money because it can cost almost 500k to get your case started. After talking with him I removed my review from google because he seemed sincere. However I just want someone to understand for me it’s the principle and not about the money. I sent all my records over to Mr.Malone around 06/04/2024 and sent an email on 06/22/2024 for an update. Mr.Malone informed me that he would look over my files and get back with me in about a week and if he couldnt help he would refer me to someone who possibly would be able to. I have not heard back, and I’m done, basically if you didn’t lose a limb your case will not be taken seriously and the doctor can do anything to you with no consequences. It’s really sad that everytime I’ve needed a workplace enviorment lawyer or a negligence lawyer this is the energy I have gotten. If you only signed up for the more lucrative cases you’re already doing it wrong. I’m just going to leave this firm to itself. I am leaving my review up and cutting contact. Hopefully I can find someone who is willing to do it for the right reasons. This has been very traumatic for me and I just want someone that is doing it for the right reasons.

When I finally made the decision to divorce my husband after almost 25 years, I was an emotionally abused woman who no longer resembled the professional woman I had once been. My ex-husband controlled all the finances and I didn't know where to start. I asked some highly regarded Professionals in the Atlanta area and was given his name repeatedly. Peter listened to me but then got around to focusing on what was and wasn't important for my case. He always responded in a timely matter and went above and beyond while also instilling confidence me that everything was going to be ok. HE was better than ok. I’m Kai... This Review is about Michael Schlifka and Lisa Jackson, both who ended up being heaven sent angels in my life! Michael and Lisa are two of the most supportive, heart felt, hard working, determined, people I’ve ever met.. Im blessed Michael was my divorce attorney, and that Lisa was the paralegal over my divorce case.. They were an AWESOME team over my case, my divorce was everything BUT pretty. My ex wife and I have 2 kids together, my ex demanded the divorce but was being very difficult with the kids. It had even got to the point where I was set up by my ex, and my character was assassinated by my ex. To try to obtain full custody of the kids.
Through it ALL Michael stayed by my side, and fought for me and my kids diligently and affectively. Michaels sense of compassion but ability to be firm when need be is on point! Michael really knows his stuff, and fought for me tooth and nail! He did not give up on me or my case, he showed up to every court date, every hearing, and fought so hard for me. Sometimes I sit back, and thank god for bringing Michael and Lisa into my life. And putting Michael as my attorney over my divorce.. When I began my divorce, I knew nothing about divorce. Was highly hurt and emotional. Heartbroken is an understatement..
I googled divorce attorneys, not knowing where to start. I came across Meriwether and Tharpe, got put in touch with Michael Schlifka. And the rest is history.. Michael always kept my kids and I best interest in mind, and never gave up on my case. My divorce was LONG and drawn out, but he stayed by my side. Michael was kind and compassionate about my terrible situation. My divorce was very unpleasant. He worked with me (and my ex-husband) to get to a very specific parenting plan and next 8 or 9 years plan. We agreed to co-parent 50/50 and maintain the "homestead" 50/50 until the last child graduates but MAN it was hard to get to that point. All the anger - he worked with me and often times I took out my anger on he and his team of paralegals (who were all wonderful!). He never had any anger back, mostly just some humor. He understood me. He took time to understand the unreasonable situation I was in and worked hard to get a great settlement. We didn't even have to go to court! Thanks so much Michael Schlifka!

Very Raciest company.... I was appointed to them and they treated me like bad New!!!!! I was insulted because I have a heavy voice, they laughed and said I was yelling then told me I didn't have a case. I was hit in 2022 I have Mri before the accident to prove my arthritis was not in my hand. After the accident my body start taking a toll with arthritis and start affecting my hand which was on steering wheel and window when I was rear-end. I had previously had a reading in my spine that said arthritis but Never in My hand . They offered injections but I said why treat only my hand when it's my whole body, they said only your hand was part of the accident. So I stopped due to my other health issues.... when I mentioned that the accident caused my underline health to arise this lawyer laughed!!!! I m not ok!!! My hand was fine before the rear-end!!!! White verses black.... not ok

Worst Attorney
Please do not hire Attorney Dixon to represent you for Family practice or a Divorce case! I paid her the retainer fee to represent my Son and is very disappointed with her rendered services.
The opposing Attorney filed several motions and she never filed a motion on his behalf. It almost appeared that she is was working with the opposing counsel against him.
Ms. Dixon only have 3 years of experience and it showed when she asked my Son to hire another Attorney to assist her.
Horrible communication skills- Who calls a client at
6:00 a.m. to debrief the day of a trial and shows up 30 minutes late to court?
He has been fighting to receive his funds from an escrow account and reduction in child support with no assistance or responses from her! She showed no concern or compassion but still received money for providing poor service. He lost his livelihood and everything that he owned with no fight or help from her.

And while for you, there is nothing new under the sun; for me, divorce is, and has been a disruptive life-changing series of events.
