Professional, knowledgably up to date, yet lovely people with care.
The whole team at OCFL helped me navigate through my divorce process, with an outcome where we were able to settle outside and prior to the upcoming trial date on calendar. The process was a little over 2.5 years in length. When I explained to my sons that "we settled" I told them both parents got what they wanted, positive outcomes for both parties. I believe this is the best outcome when children are involved.

After I was released from the police station the following day I felt alone, embarrassed, remorseful, hopeless, empty, sad and clueless as to how I was going to face my new reality. That day I was taught a big lesson that I will never forget. As a kid my father told me that two of the most important dates in someone’s life are, when you are born and when you find out what you were born to do. My dream and goal in life was to be a public servant as a firefighter/medic; thus, I always tried my best to maintain a clean record and contribute to my community. I achieved my dream and served my community proud, but that dream was short lived. For the last two years my life has been on stand by and every time I hear a siren on the street my heart shatters. From the moment I first spoke with you Mr. Levin I knew I had chosen the right attorney with the right team; you and Jon and all your staff gave me hope during a time of uncertainty. I will never be able to thank you all enough for how hard you fought for me. Today, my life has changed again but in a different way. I still have a hard time believing it! I was caught between a rock and a hard place! I was either going down for a DUI or assault. I was driving home with my family from a breakfast cruise downtown and when I pulled into my driveway there was a guy screaming at me that I cut him off. After I took him to the ground and gave him a couple of what for’s I let him up and he got back in his truck and proceeded to try and run me over. He eventually left but it was with a couple of new dents on his truck. I casually walked over to my house and got in the shower to clean up. When I got out there was a cop at my door and the guy who rode up on me across the street with another cop. I guess he never left and called the cops on me. You all know how that goes. The one who calls the cops is the one who never goes to jail, so I was screwed at the getgo. The cops question me about my day and like a dummy, I told them about the cruise and the couple of drinks that I had. Next thing I know I’m arrested for DUI and assault. I took it all the way to trial because the DA wasn’t budging. That guy approached me at my house and was the aggressor I was not in the wrong for what I did. I was protecting myself. I saw it one way and the DA saw it another way. When I met Mark he believed in me and jumped all over this to help me out. He gave me a great deal that I could not pass up. You should see this guy at work. He performed flawlessly! He is very calm and uses his words wisely. He walked all over the DA and put them in their place. We won the trial, and eventually he got my case expunged. I highly recommend him! I will never use anybody else but him. LETS GO MARK! THANKS BUDDY!

Okay so let me start off by saying first and foremost Scott Bentley is truly truly the Bentley of all lawyers. From the very very beginning when I caught my case over 3 years ago Scott has been there the entire time. He truly cares about his clients and actually takes the time to make sure he's prepared for all the court dates. He also has a great rapport in the courts and with the judges etc and is very well respected. He truly goes that extra mile. And like I said we fought this case for 3 years and then after the outcome I was arrested and he came to see me in jail and was at all the court days and appeared on a 977 multiple times. My case was extremely extremely complicated and very in-depth. I really don't know what I would have done without him. He is not only a great person in general but he's also very encouraging and positive. I really can't think him enough and I'm here to tell you that if you need a lawyer Scott is the best and you won't be disappointed. So please don't make the mistake of hiring somebody else because I don't think there's any other lawyer like Scott Bentley.

I was told several months ago that it would take three months for the pay out it has now been way over that time and I still have not received anything every call I make to my attorney he never wants to answer and when he does he says he's still waiting for a response from certain appointments which is not true because they all responded already , interesting that attorneys can take a bigger percentage out of the settlement the longer they have it in their hands do not come to mvp accident attorneys!!

My husband, our then 1 year old, and I were involved in a hit and run that rendered our car totaled. We had never been in an accident that bad before so apart from reporting it to the police and filing an insurance claim, we weren’t sure what else to do. Finances were tight since we had just signed a new lease that previous weekend and we would need to put aside some money to buy another car. A friend recommended contacting Ed Lee Law Offices and it was the best investment we could’ve made. My husband and I initially felt hopeless since our case didn’t seem as serious as others we have read/heard about considering no one was severely injured, but Ed Lee and his team made sure we were properly compensated for all the hardship we were put through in being the victims of a hit and run accident. We knew it would take some time to be resolved but time was all we had and after putting our full trust in his law firm, a year and some change later, our case was closed. We were compensated for all that we lost and then some. Even though the police did not find the suspect, Ed, Sylvia, Angela, and the rest of their team were able to give us the closure that we needed from a horrible incident.

I hired Mr. Jarrod Wilfert for a DUI with injury case. This case was over two years old and even though I originally was told, I passed the sobriety test and did not get a DUI for some reason they decided to bring it back. Keep in mind, I had made several complaints about the police department, ignoring restraining order and allowing me to be abused. I had all the evidence to show not only was I assaulted that same month which is why I tested positive for a medication. They didn’t decide to bring the charge back because I got an evading police charge because I have PTSD Which had already been communicated with the police department many times. I did not evade the police. I let the car roll forward while having a panic attack. I tried to make that case for the police Evasion case Which should’ve been allowed because I really did have a mental health diagnose That I had been treated for four I had proof that I dealt with Negligence from the police and I put in reports. Nobody cared they wouldn’t let me make those arguments and they let me get a conviction which made them review the dui Decide to charge me. I had proof that I was assaulted that same month that I put in a complaint to the police department because the police who responded was friends with my ex who was my abuser. I also had proof that my car was rear-ended just a couple weeks before, and I took it into a mechanic who said that if it continued to Have break problems To bring it in, I had text messages with the owner of the car telling him that I thought I needed to bring it back in. I was on my way to the mechanic when the accident happened. I passed a sobriety test, and my roommate was with me when I passed it But for some reason, two years later during court They changed it And it said I did not pass. These were all viable arguments I could’ve brought in front of a jury But was advised not to because Mr. Wilfert told me he believed I could get it reduced to a misdemeanor, And from what I understand that would’ve this dismissed The whole case. While going through all this, I had to watch my abusive ex get hate crime And then get them dismiss due to mental health problems. Which he only saw because he was court ordered too, But as a woman who deals with a real medical condition and pays out-of-pocket for my my treatments Wasn’t the same treatment within my own community because apparently I’m a bad woman who needs to take a accountability. Besides all this There was several mistakes made with my case. For some reason, the police were very eager to have me go into the jails, So I was requesting house arrest, especially because of Covid. Mr. Wilford receptionist told me she was sending in the paperwork, right away. But after contacting the sheriffs department, I found out the paperwork was never turned in, I had to fill out the paperwork myself And turn it in last minute. If I didn’t persistently I would’ve had to go into the jails at one of the most dangerous times during Covid. Months later, I had texted Mr. Wilford because he told me to text him anytime, I texted him four times in one month Because the judge told me if I did everything within months, He would reduce the charge to a misdemeanor And get me off probation. So I was excited and I was texting him trying to get information on meeting up to discuss this. He never responded and you see me get concerned as if I thought something happened to him. For our case, dealing with the juvenile court, Mr. Wilfert seemed very unprepared. We would basically get information the day that we were in front of the judge, and the DA pretty much ran the show.
It is a misrepresentation that Mr. Wilfert states that he will fight for you, and is knowledgeable because he used to be police officer and a DA himself, because he lets the court decide and have control of your case, thus your destiny.
I had to start calling Mr. Wilfert's office and demand that he would communicate and tells anything about our case.
If your case is serious and you are looking for an attorney that is going to fight for you, and present a good defense, communicate with you about your case, do yourself a favor, and do not hire Wilfert Law.
