Katherine Johnson was my attorney during my divorce. I had never needed to hire an attorney before, so the entire experience was very new to me. Mr. Howard and his associate, Mr. Mergenthaler were patient, kind, and understanding even though my case had to do with my dog. Before I found Mr. Howard's law firm through a friend of a friend, I had called other attorneys who were not interested in my case. On the last days of 2023, I am especially grateful to Andy, who supported and guided me through the darkest days of my life. I was abandoned after 30 years of devotion to the family. Steve Xu Chen not only let me down, betrayed me, but also hid large assets from me overseas! I only want to keep the house but Steve demands me to pay for his share, except that I don't have the money. I was so devastated! I lost my sleeps and dropped 20% weight. When I contacted Andy, he gave me his assertive words, "We will ask", "We shall see", but no fake promises. He was there whenever I needed to dump my thoughts and worries. I retained Ms. Fetman for my divorce. It's difficult to know where to turn when you're faced with a divorce. Few of us have any prior experience with the legal ins and outs.
