She is worth every penny I promise words cannot describe what an amazing person she is i mean just Google her she's the best I love her when I told her that it's time I was devastated dude she's saved my life im being able to see my son now , if you need a lawyer she's the one I promise after our first conversation I got off the phone and I knew I was gonna get my rights and i started shadow boxing I was so excited she'll take the time to get to understand the whole picture her passion is doing the right thing for parents. I highly recommend Knies, Helland & McPherson. Jenni (Helland) did an amazing job. My ex and her attorney were very antagonistic, liked to draw out the process, and did everything they could to drive up legal fees. Jenni was great in understanding what was happening and the likely outcomes or consequences. She avoided emotional arguments, and instead made sound legal ones. More importantly, she advised me when I was making an emotional decision and gave recommendations on what actions I could take that would be legally successful. Having someone in your corner that was willing to tell you what you needed to hear, instead of what you wanted to hear saved me thousands of dollars.
This is not a law firm that will needlessly drive up costs. For example, I was never charged for attorneys fees for anyone Jenni may have consulted with (this is a frequent tactic of less reputable law firms). I was never given a weekly 'update' that created billing hours even if nothing was happening in the case. Jenni never had me make needless discovery requests, subpoenas or motions that are typical and drive up costs.
I had a more experienced and higher hourly rate attorney than my ex, but my ex's legal fees were 30% higher because of all the shenanigans they played.
Jenni will give you the legal experience you need without driving up costs.

Miranda was amazing! I knew I had an uphill battle going into our case since I wasn’t the primary care taker and my ex wife wanted to relocate with our son. I knew that I also had a lot going for me since I have always been there and have provided for my son since his birth as well. Miranda took my case on short notice and short preparation, but got up to speed quicker than I anticipated. She gave me the best possible legal advice (the to-do’s and not to-do’s) the entire 5-6 months she worked with me. When it came down to actually going to court, she guided and prepared me on exactly what was going to happen before even getting into the courtroom, so all I had to do was remember and execute what she told me to do. She was already in the courthouse before I arrive at the courthouse (which I’m always early) and I really appreciated that. She was attentive in the courtroom and honed in on what was important to the judge’s decision making. She won my case for me because she’s an amazing attorney and knew what to say and what not to say. I will be forever grateful for Miranda and her talent as an attorney! Brooke is very straight forward and will be honest yet compassionate! She is strong and forthright. Sean is the easiest most empathetic person I have met in a lawyers office. They both understand the law and will be honest with you. When you feel integrity is missing look no further than this office.I was disappointed with Harvey Skees. I hired Brooke after having two other attorneys. Brooke is extremely knowledgeable about family law and absolutely tenacious in pursuit of the best interest of the children and me. Miss Gomolson worked on my case for 4 years, I didn't know a divorce and custody battle could last as long or get as ugly as it did. Miss Gomolson operates on a strict policy of sticking to the truth and not swaying even a little bit away from it.
My Case involved just about anything you can think of from child neglect, child abuse , drug abuse and mental health issues. Kate also had to deal with a ton of false accusations throughout the entire process not only did she take them on she proved each and everyone of them out to be false discrediting the petitioner every single time. Miss Gomolson filed motions only as needed always trying to keep my finances in mind. The petitioner in our case had a total of 4 lawyers and we had a total of 6 judges throughout the process making Kates job very hard and frustrating. Kate never seemed rattled and took every lawyer and judge on as if it was a normal thing, with all the judge and lawyer changes it seemed like we were starting over at every court appearance having to bring everyone back up to speed. Divorce is an ugly thing and I do not want to go through it again but if I do Kate would be my only choice of attorney. Throughout the custody battle Kate was able to get my children out of danger and in to my custody. Not only did she get me full custody she got me in to the proper therapy and made some really good recommendations to help me through the tough times. Miss Gomolson is a stand up lawyer and I would recommend her to anyone.

I retained Zach as my attorney as I was in a custody battle after my divorce. I had been going it alone for about six months and although I felt I had a good case, there is always the "what if" Many factors regarding my case brought me to Zach. I had relocated to another state, had a new job, paperwork to locate and file, many things had to be addressed and considered. It was overwhelming.
From the moment I made the decision to get help, I knew that Zach was the attorney to represent me. The initial conversations we had by phone were comfortable and productive. The fact that I was 1400 miles away and that I was placing my children's future and well being in someone's hands was scary at first but Zach, I felt, was the one that could get it done for me.
The biggest concern I had was that I had given him less than 3 months to prepare. In that short amount of time he compiled all the documents, filed all the paperwork, conducted the interviews with the witnesses. He did that and so much more. When we entered the courtroom I was confident and WE were prepared. In court Zach was direct, to the point and was able to "paint the picture" for the Magistrate. He asked the right questions of every witness called to the stand and when the proceeding was complete there was no "what if" left in my mind.
When the court made their decision and I received the call from Zach that we had won, I knew I had made the right call. I cannot express enough my gratitude, nor the respect I have for Zach. I put my trust in him and he delivered. I could not be more pleased.

I was in a pinch. I mean I was in a lot of trouble. I went to talk to the DA without a lawyer and it was horrible. I hired Lauren to coach me for a hearing regarding a very contentious ordeal involving a parenting plan modification and other issues. Lauren's services are fairly priced and the information and advice she gave me was honest and accurate. She is also very personable and easy to talk to. I was able to go into the hearing and hold my own. The outcome was in line with what she told me to expect, and I believe that had I not had prior coaching it would have gone terribly wrong as family law and procedures in court are complicated. I was hit by a drunk driver several months ago and had serious injuries. I wouldn't have thought of contacting a lawyer until both insurance companies, mine and other driver's, asked for recorded interviews with me. I didn't want to take a chance on saying something that would jeopardize my claim. A friend referred me to Mike Keating. He and his associate, Deidre Ostrowski, represented me throughout the process of settling my claim. I received more money than I could ever have expected. But that is only part of the story. In working through the process, I had to deal with two auto insurers, my health insurance company, two health care providers, the ambulance company, the towing company and Medicare. Amy, staff member with the firm, took care of the paperwork and kept me well informed throughout the process. She really had to educate me, since this was my first experience with such a claim. She was incredibly patient, always pleasant and very efficient. Overall, I felt that Mike and Deidre represented me very effectively, and I recommend them and the firm to anyone in a similar situation.
