The divorce took a little longer than I'd hoped because opposing party had the financial means to prolong the process. Nicole heard my needs and found avenues to make this come to an end. I had an unsatisfactory experience with The Prince Law Group for several reasons:
Unexpected Fees: I was surprised by some of the charges, such as being billed $56 for an email that consisted of just two sentences. This made me feel that communication costs were higher than anticipated.
Inefficient Use of Consultation Time: The lawyer often over-explained simple matters and spoke at a very slow pace, which extended our sessions unnecessarily. I was also charged for 15 minutes during which the lawyer discussed personal topics unrelated to my case.
Scheduling Challenges: There were instances where meetings were canceled at the last minute. This was inconvenient and felt very unprofessional.
While I understand that legal matters can be complex, these issues affected my overall experience. I hope they consider improving in these areas for future clients.

She will let you know what will fly in court and what won't. You won't be left out in the dark about what's going on in your case if you retain her services.
She's currently helping me try to gain custody of my daughter and I feel a lot better having her on my side.
I would highly recommend her if you're a father in a custody/divorce case and want an attorney who cares and who is straight-forward and honest with you.

Very professional and compassionate! Attorney Brandy Thomas was extremely organized, responsive, and efficient. I really appreciate that she truly had my best interest in mind and laid out all available options along with pros and cons right at the start and let me choose how to proceed instead of just pushing for the most expensive route (litigation) like other attorneys. Extremely rude secretary who appears with no compassion for disability, and claims to work for an attorney who represents those with disability discrimination cases. Was thinking of hiring these attorneys until I saw how arrogant and condensending the front desk lady was and decided against it as i cannot talk with someone without compassion for medically disabled. She who works at the front lost them a potential client or clients, and I retained a different lawyer. This is a retaliation related civil suit I'm referencing

Did not return calls. I met her at her previous firm Rowan in Shelton. After our initial consultation we never saw or heard from again. Didn't tell us she was leaving the firm just after hiring the firm. We liked her when she refused to acknowledge me. No return calls or emails. I thought oh she's busy than I realized, she is not even willing to sit down and talk. Just ignored us. I guess she didn't want to take our type of case.
We ended up with a good lawyer in Bridgeport. But I was not impressed by her. By the way this was just over a year ago or so.

Attorney Jeffrey Armas exceeded my expectations. I felt compelled to type this. My case was not typical that’s what shocks me as to how easy he made it look. He made the process so easy for me. In our initial meeting, he outlined the case timeframe, and everything unfolded as predicted. The biggest one was how quick it took. He settled way ahead of schedule.
Unlike my prior experiences with three other attorneys, Jeff's legal knowledge and ability to explain complexities in laymen’s terms set him apart. Anyone inexperienced in dealing with attorneys needs to know that he’s 180% of what you may typically hear about the supposed rep of a lawyer.

...that left me with questions and a feeling of chaos and confusion afterwards, tried to see if I could quickly get a little clarity or when? Was told only after signing the retainer I could set up another appointment!
I was in a most distressed and traumatic state of mind, vented/muttered things to myself about access to justice and prohibitive costs with dismissive treatment, MY OPINION/FEELING, after just being hit with the staggering costs for representation (AND paying $325 for what?).
So Chris said he wouldn't represent me(the audacity to think I would want him to after this kind of treatment is telling) due to his receptionist saying I was verbally hostile towards her, which I absolutely was not and even went out of my way to be polite to her and say goodbye using her name(again I was muttering to myself and towards the wall).

I am a child psychologist who often involves custody evaluation. I think Bonnie can be smart and capable. her biggest problem is no integrity and honesty. I often see her flip over at court in front of the judge.

I hired her be my divorce lawyer. She was recommended by someone I know. It is hard to understand which lawyer is good. They all have good peer views. She seemed fine till she started working on the case. It took like ages to finalize my divorce. She in general doesn't answer phone calls and doesn't reply emails. She didn't really care about and advocate my benefit. It was a terrible journey. don't recommend her.

After two years of stagnant progress with my previous lawyer, I knew I needed a different approach. My lawyer recommended Jill Blomberg, and that decision turned out to be a game-changer. From the outset, Jill's strategy was brilliant. Switching to Jill's team marked a turning point in my case. She didn't hesitate to take charge, steering us away from a settlement path that wasn't working. Jill, along with Molly and Rachel, took immediate action when we filed. She refused to play the opposing lawyer's game and asserted control, effecting change within months. While she made some decisions that I didn't like at the time, I always ended up learning that it was the right decision. It's obviously her world and she knows what she's doing. I can't help but think that having her from the beginning would have expedited the process.
The significance of trust in your lawyer cannot be overstated, and Jill's team consistently earned mine. Their coordination was impeccable, responding promptly even on weekends, and the balance between Jill's assertiveness and Molly's calmness was effective. When she walked in the court she just had this confidence and presence. When my ex saw her, he hated it which made me love it even more. She taught him a lesson for sure.

I even received a compliment one day when walking to my car from a random lawyer letting me know that I had an incredible lawyer, providing an additional level of reassurance. In hindsight, I would have chosen Jill from the start. Her team's expertise, coordination, and ability to instill confidence are unmatched. Going through a legal ordeal is never easy and while I know they were all doing their job, I felt that I had acquired a temporary family and what sometimes felt like a therapist who stood by me every step of the way.

These attorneys have very questionable ethics. My mother-in-law has Alzheimer’s and dementia and they had her sign to revoke a POA so her scheming husband could take her retirement inheritance. She was not of sound mind and state health officials have attested to it. I guess if you want attorneys that are not ethical, go with these guys.

If house buying and selling is not your everyday life, you need to call this team for an assist. I've also needed legal representation in a pereonal matter and contacted "The" team .Once more, they came in and took care of business !

I was recommend by a close friend who also had a custody battle and used this law firm. I had such a great experience with Attorney Gill. She listened to all my concerns and walk me through the whole process of what may and may not happen. Her whole team was just wonderful to work with.
Attorney Gill even went out her way to walk me to my car after court as long as she did not have another client with her, to make sure I wasn’t going to run into the other party. And she made sure I didn’t leave the court with any questions unanswered. I would recommend them to anyone who needs their services.

If you are a woman looking for an attorney in CT, I cannot recommend Klein & Babbitt enough. They’ve been with me every step of the way through my divorce case, and I am very appreciative and grateful to them.
The paralegals & attorney Klein listened to all my thoughts and concerns and were never belittling, and not once was what I was saying dismissed. I was heard. Which is the most important thing I was looking for when it came to choosing legal representation, was a team that would be in my corner, and they were.
They never interrupted, and never spoke over me. Whenever I had a question, it was answered as quickly as possible, and I was very impressed with their streamlined communications.
When I had accounting questions too, the accountant was more than happy to answer my queries as well. I hope to never have to have a need for legal services again, but if I do, they are who I would trust. 100%.

Campbell Barrett took on my divorce case but had limited time to work on my case. After a year of filing motions and never appearing in court, to defend the filed motions I hired a second lawyer to get me through the divorce process. If I had not done this we would have gone to trial and spent most of the settlement. Please don’t let his lash offices fool you… You are paying dearly for them with. He offered very few results

DO NOT USE HER! She represented me allowing me to pay over time. SHE offered that! I will review the invoice as many people that have used her said she overcharged.
Her paralegal is mean Bonnie led me on to believe she would help me file contempt. Then she ignored my emails, calls and texts for weeks. She got upset when HER paralegal got rude with me. All she had to do was advise me she would not be representing me further. She over charged and I will be filing a grievance.

Bonnie is a dangerous individual to have around your children. Guy below is right, she just paid a ton of people to write good reviews. She has NOT done right by us or my daughter and others should consider how hazardous she is when involved.
Through a back office source at CT superior court, she is juiced in with other corrupt judges and administrators in the court. She is protected so there's no way to remove her. We've asked her several times to remove herself from my case and she refuses. She goes silent for months, doesn't return phone calls, at a time when she has REAL work to do on behalf of the child.

Attorney Babbitt and her team worked with me in a very fair and transparent manner. I was distraught as a result of my recent divorce and in a difficult spot financially. I needed to access money from a 401K and could not do so until my ex-wife completed the necessary administrative paperwork. Despite several attempts to contact my ex-wife and her attorney directly, pleading with them to complete the paperwork, she ultimately refused my request. My only option was to sue for contempt and I really wanted to avoid the courtroom. Hired Attorney Babbitt for my divorce. Never once received counsel. Mostly got forwarded emails from my wife's attorney with "thoughts?" at the bottom. Never responded to numerous calls or emails. In the end I fired her and she charged me $75 for a copy of my file which ended up being just numerous copies of my financial affidavit. Cannot emphasize enough to look elsewhere.

You are better having no representation than Caryl Balskus. She is useless and will cave in at an instance, but charge you at top dollar, 1 minute rounded up to her 20 minutes, 21 minutes rounded up to an hour. You will end up losing in litigation, while paying her more. Avoid her at all costs. Literally.

I used Marino for my divorce several years ago, and then foolishly used her for situations that have arisen with my ex over the years. When I first met her I was won over by her forceful personality and promises to protect my interests but I’ve finally had enough of her smoke and mirrors. When it came down to it, she made multiple careless errors because she was either too busy or too distracted to take the time to read and listen and the had the nerve to charge me for her time to fix her errors. It’s bad enough fighting with your ex but then having to concurrently fight with your lawyer, that’s just insane. But maybe what’s even more insane is that I kept going back to her because I didn’t have the time or energy to find another attorney. Beware that her billing is OUT OF CONTROL, she is all about her own wallet. I have many battles ahead but I will never contact her again. However, in the interest of full disclosure and honesty, I will say on the positive side she did originally get me a decent settlement, but in retrospect I see that there were so many things that were either ignored or overlooked.

After being in an abusive marriage with mental and physical abuse over 16 years, I was recommended to use Ms. Marino as a tough advocate. Unfortunately, my ex-husband's attorney was tougher, and I lost financially. She also did not give me proper advice about my marital home. She told me I had to leave, or the sheriff would remove me in 60 days. I consulted for free with another attorney and he said that was not true. I paid highly to find a rental with the 8 dogs my ex did not want, even though he called them his 'beloved dogs'. Would not use her again.

Debra tried to scare me with a letter for a another lawyer, when the other lawyer was caught having a affair in his office during normal business office.
