Rob Clark , presented himself in a very professional, knowledgable manner. As far as my case goes, he kept me informed on every aspect and detail including breaking down information I didn't understand. He made me feel comfortable. Rob also helped organize and file my taxes!! I had a very messy financial situation due to my divorce Rob’s tax background was extremely helpful!!!

I found his careful attention to detail, pragmatic approach, deep knowledge of the complex matters of family law, finance, alimony reform, navigating the nuances of the MA courts - lower, appeals court and in my case... as a result of his efforts - all the way to the SJC, to be extremely helpful in the aftermath of a very difficult divorce settlement that I was hit with. Mostly though, I found his sense of integrity and sincere desire to help divorcing spouses and families find better ways to resolve their matters to be an example that others, (including myself) can learn from throughout his work. Attorney Rob Clark is a rock star!! He finalized my divorce yesterday after just a few weeks and one court date. He mediated to “get it done” at my request and I got all I asked for or expected without it dragging out at further expense.. I can’t recommend him enough or thank him enough . Divorce is not an easy choice or process for anyone. Bittersweet is a good word, more sweet than bitter for me. But whatever your circumstances Rob will make it easier and truly care about YOU!!

Beware Beware Beware Beware My experience with this practice was unbearable I highly don’t recommend . I had a motor vehicle accident settlement that took years an Richard handed me off to what was told to me is a lawyer in Rhode Island who only takes 100k plus cases . After having to drive into Boston hospitals to get my own medical records an drive to Rhode Island to meet this attorney Richard uses which who is retired. My settlement was 2200 dollars which made me sick . I only put this on here so it doesn’t happen to someone else. Please get second opinion before going to him I hope this saves someone the headaches I had suffered from this horrible experience.

Left several messages. Very difficult to get on the phone. Seems uninterested and wants to get you off the phone as quickly as possible. Rudest lawyer I have ever met and I definitely would not recommend to anyone.

She dragged out the divorce through repeated meetings reviewing the same old information. Worse, she kept claiming she was going handle subpoenas for discovery but ended up doing NONE. Even the judge at the final day in court chastised her. If you want to spend tens of thousands of dollars and get destroyed, go for it. Otherwise, run and find anyone else.

I hired Anthony in 2012 when I was working in Afghanistan to deal with a contempt case. I was his client for the purpose of filing contempt charges against the ex-wife and modifying the current orders we had in place. Mr. Rao communicated well when I was deployed, but once I got to the US the communications were very scarce. There was always an excuse as to why there were no returned phone calls. Hired in November 2012 and here we are November 2012, all he has done is file one document with Dukes county and it turns out it was the wrong one. This attorney does not return calls, texts, emails, or correspondences of any kind unless you become "The squeaky wheel". On the up-side, his pricing is fair when we first spoke and I thought I was getting a deal. Unfortunately, nothing has happened in my case since the attorney STILL has not filed the correct paperwork regardless of my please. I understand that Dukes county is quite the distance from his office, but this is not an excuse to delay filings and get traction on this old case. I am highly disappointed and further broken by the lack of respect and attention from this attorney. I do not recommend Mr. Rao.

I decided to retain Attorney Rao to represent me in an ongoing contempt case and was extremely impressed with his professionalism and clear knowledge of all aspects of family law. I was really anxious, and had a great deal of questions and concerns, and Attorney Rao did a great job of answering my questions and explaining the good, bad and ugly of my case. He also walked me through each step of the process and was able to provide me with a clear understanding of what was taking place. Attorney Rao was aggressive with opposing counsel when the situation called for it and was able to present my case to the judge in a very clear and concise manner. Hired a Justin banks worse attorney ever took me for a ride then lied about certain things and didn't show up to court date canceled after giving them envelopes full of cash then when I asked him to step down he wanted more cash after just paying him told him that I couldn't afford it then he went into court without notifying me and dismissed my case leaving me high and dry so I can't use any of the evidence that I paid him together now basically all the money that I spent I cant get back

How glowing of a review do you give someone who saved your life? Bad, short duration (3 years), too quick marriage for all the wrong reasons. I had the house (free and clear), wife had the credit rating to get a HELOC so we could pursue a business venture. I quit claim'd the deed to a joint tenancy one (bad mistake) and she got a HELOC ON MY HOUSE!. Wife soon soured on the business venture and emptied what was left in the HELOC account. Relationship went to hell and I reached out to Ms. Ryan. Best call I ever made. Talk about nasty divorces. Wife wanted 1/2 the house and relief from the HELOC. Ms. Ryan successfully parried ever motion wife's attorney filed and I got my house back (wife got no part of it). I did take responsibility for the HELOC - fair since the bulk went into the house. Ms. Ryan has the knowledge, experience and judiciary relationships in SE Mass like no other divorce attorney on the South Shore. Contested divorce? Call Ms. Ryan, she may save your life too.

Suasan Castleton Ryan should retire. She thinks she is better than she is. She will speak to you like she understands the law. But in court, she hardly spoke up for me. As a result, I lost a lot of money on the sale of the marital home. Susan has limited knowledge on finaces and will lose yur money and smile and take your money for months. Case should have been a few months, instead it lasted over a year.

I hired Mr Blouin to help me get legal custody, child support, revised visitation, and other modifications. Matthew meticulously read over my divorce and custody agreements, and made suggestions for my case that I would have overlooked. From the first meeting I knew he was the right lawyer. I had met with other lawyers, and by far, Matthew had the most extensive knowledge of family law. He took a lot of notes and drafted my requests based on our talk. In court, he was extremely professional. My ex was a nightmare to deal with, but Matthew was composed the whole time. In the end, the court ruled in my favor, and the modifications were more than I could have hoped for. I got full custody, and Matthew was also able to negotiate other terms that I thought would take even longer. I have a huge weight lifted off my shoulders and I thank Matthew for that. My daughters life is now more stable. I couldn't be happier with the results. Thank you Matthew!

My experience as a client of Attorney Kathy Ryder was very negative. I found her to have poor communication skills, to be always late for court hearings and frequently not responsive. She also didn’t get along well with opposing counsel and this caused litigation to take longer than necessary. Attorney Kathy Ryder is clearly quite calloused in her work and acts unsympathetic towards her clients. She also doesn’t take the time to work collaboratively with her clients.

I would highly recommend Attorney Kim-Marie Phelan if you find yourself in the "divorce chapter" of your life. I always felt that Kim had my best interests at stake throughout the divorce proceedings. She was extremely thorough with details pertaining to drafts, judgments, financial forms, pretrial memos, to the separation agreement itself. She was honest & upfront as to how long the process would take & what the approximate overall investment would be. She crumbled against my non working attorney ex wife. She said my accountant wasn’t doing his job. Didn’t go in front of judge as I wanted. 2 days later I’m trying to repair the damage from her advice. I’m giving her credit that maybe I would have lost more if I didn’t go with her advice because MA doesn’t support hard working people.

Over complicated everything in order to increase the amount he could bill. Never presented the idea of simple joint petition when both would have agreed to thing (something I did not learn about until later). Took a whole bunch of unnecessary actions and filed unnecessary motions/subpoenas in order to bill more hours.

Ellyn was excellent at keeping me informed about the process and progress. Helped me define my goals for the process and then worked hard to reach those goals, Her professionalism was exemplary particularly when opposing counsel spoke in a demeaning tone with undertones of male dominance. She maintained a completely professional demeanor and did not acknowledge the slight. I was rather upset by it. I always felt like she had my back during. I trusted her to have my best interests in my in all communications with opposing counsel and the court. I would hire her again without a second thought and would recommend her to anyone with interest. She is a superstar in my book.

Lawyer Ellen took my case when other attorneys would not due to the many issues I had (custody, retirement, ex who was a cop and more) and that I had been so long without a lawyer. She knew the steps I needed to take, she saved me money by having me collect some of the documents, had me work with her assist when it would save $$ and was ez to talk to. I can say ellen saved my family. She got that I was sad but didnt let that stop her from helping me.

Let me preface this by saying I have a strong distaste to attorneys, but understand their value in our society. I hired Atty Sladen several years ago and she was a great attorney then. As time went on, I found myself in need of her services again. I expected her to be lackadaisical and laissez-faire since she had represented me several times prior. How wrong I was. She was just as committed, just as tenacious as our first meeting. She thoroughly answered every question I had, gave me encouragement, checked in on me to make sure I was ok. In the court room she's amazing to watch; no bologna. She is polite but fierce and handles herself with confidence and grace. I have referred no less than 6 of my friends to her and they were all pleased with her services. Highly recommend Attorney Sladen for all of your family issues. I'd be so lost without her. Awful experience, was only able to make an impact when the other party had no representation. Once other party took on representation, they were affraid to fight against the other party. When it came to explaining to the stuff judge and the judge made remarks or comments back, they were affraid to get involved with the judge. Attorney Brian represented the sale of my home after a divorce. There is a signed order from the judge yet he is refusing to disperse the funds as the court ordered. The only reason he provided was out of fear of getting sued by the other party as she is trying to delay me from getting my money. He has a court ruling signed by me and my ex as well as a judge yet refuses to release the funds. Seems as he feels that his fear of my ex supersedes a judges orders. It makes 0 sense as he can just disperse the funds as ordered by the judge and if she does not like it she can file a motion to bring me back to court. All he needs to say is I followed the courts ruling it is what it is. Will update this post as things develop.

I was referred to Pollack Law Group by CLC Legal Program for divorce and child custody. When I spoke to McKenzie, she persuaded me to immediately meet her in the office and sign papers as the first step. She was very kind until I completed signing off papers and then it all stopped. I felt a woman lawyer would provide better representation and understand my situation. But, this attorney lacks basic human attributes. All she cares about is the money. When I withdrew her representation, I was charged 1200$ for a 1 hr meeting and because I had to break commitment. I had a terrible experience and I warn others to stay away.

McKenzie was very professional and confident. She did an amazing job representing me in my very difficult case and got me through it with no issues or hiccups. Not very strong in court and charged a lot for a little .I was pretty disappointed at her work .She wasn't.really very helpful in preparing for.court .She gave into every demand other side made .Seemed to not stand strong for her client .I really feel 5000.00 for one half day in court and.a bunch of scribbled on papers as an agreement was not very professional .In the end agreements need to be able to be read . Same service on other side paid 900 and.other side got more quality counsel than the 5000 payment .She seems very nice as a person but for legal matters I would never refer anyone to her .I feel we threw a lot of money away .She did nothing really but make.a lot of money off us. Her secretary on the other hand was always helpful .As much as she was able.to be .

The ending of very long relationships can be complicated and difficult on so many levels. Healthy respect and empathy seemed to be in short supply during a very short conversation I had with Attorney Silvia. I am dealing with some very difficult fallout and am trying to find my way forward. Attorney Silvia showed no understanding, compassion or interest. It is fair for someone to feel that they are not a good match. But an empathetic caring person would make suggestions for other attorneys or other ways of dealing with the situation. Seem seems sweet and friendly, but what she was saying was rather judgmental based on a real lack of information and understanding. Possibly she was triggered by what I brought up. I certainly felt deeply dispirited after our conversation.
