Kimberly was wonderful to work with. I had to leave a bad situation and wasn't sure what to do or where to start, but she was so nice and knowledgeable, and made a bad situation as pleasant as easy as she could. Dennis made an unfortunate situation manageable. As one would anticipate, I was extremely nervous about the process. Dennis immediately made me feel comfortable and that eased my nerves. Easy to talk to, excellent at explaining and helping me understand the process. Even during the 'not so fun' times, he managed to lighten the mood of the situation with a bit of humor and personability. Definitely something I appreciated to establish a trusting working relationship between attorney and client.
As we don't ever anticipate the need to have legal representation in life, If ever the situation arises again....I would most definitely contact Dennis and recommend him to others in need of his services.

I hired Jackie for my divorce and child custody case, and I am so glad that I did. She is the best of the best. From our very first meeting, Jackie was extremely approachable, understanding, compassionate, and so reassuring. My case became extremely difficult and messy and Jackie was always there to guide me and answer any questions I had. She was very responsive to calls and emails. She was extremely knowledgeable, professional, organized, thorough, honest, and always prepared. I trusted her to only communicate when necessary - she didn’t want to waste my time or my money. After a failed attempt with my first attorney, Attorney Daniel Andoni was knowledgeable, courteous and aggressive to my needs for my court case. When I retained him he put together a game plan based on what I requested him to do and he got sole custody for my daughter in a state where it’s believed to be mother-favoring. I am almost fifty years old and have never had a run in with the law. I had a momentary lapse of better judgement and was facing six months in jail at the behest of the complaintent which I had never met in my life. Long story short, attorney Karen Phillips was able to work with me and the county prosecutor to resolve the the case to all parties satisfaction.

I had a very serious case in which jail time was on the table and had Karen not been my lawyer, I couldn't have said that I wouldn't serve time. I was facing two felonies and a misdemeanor. Her experience and knowledge was a must with my case and her work ethic for me was next to none. She's very easy to talk to and someone that's very genuine, honest, trustworthy, and understanding. In a tough time Karen was there for me and my situation and was willing to work with me as my main residence is out of state, in California. When it was all said and done she worked out a deal that handed me probation with no jailtime and essentially my life back. Mike has a desire to be successful in his services and representing myself. This was first demonstrated to me when Mike did his research on me to determine if I was being honest with him in the beginning. When he was certain that he was given all the correct facts, he took on the case. I really appreciated this, because when he accepted my case, he was committed to it and to me. Mike would review every aspect with me and explain the alternatives including the potential cost impacts with the various options before proceeding. Mike dealt professionally with everything that needed to be addressed. He discussed the issues with me and listened to what I had to say without making any pre-judgments. Mike would summarize the issues well and keep to the facts even though the other party attempted to “rabbit trail” at every opportunity. My “after-divorce” problems continued for years as the other party would continually challenge the final order. Even in this, Mike dealt professionally and worked to keep my interests protected. Mike is a professional individual that is first looking for a mutual agreement in a divorce but when a mutual agreement is not obtainable, he worked aggressively for my interests.
I truly give Mike my highest recommendations.

I had an ugly divorce and (1) year after the judgment was final…it got worse. I selected Mike to replace my original attorney. What a great decision! Attorney Barry Fayne is one of the greatest people that I know, and I am more than happy that he agreed to take my case. At the time that he decided to get involved, I had been through four attorneys who seemed reluctant to deal with the tumultuous issues on my case. Attorney Fayne’s involvement changed everything!
In my opinion, Attorney Fayne’s calling was to be a family law attorney. He gives the best advice based on his profound knowledge of the law. He is also considerate and respectful of your feelings and will listen with an open-mind to your input relative to the direction of the case. He is truly committed and dedicated to his profession. We hired Barry on the recommendation of our attorney, who had a conflict and could not represent us for a specific hearing. Barry took us on as clients and immediately understood a very complex case and the seriousness of the issues of the hearing. He treated us like we were longstanding clients (even though we had just met) and listened to and responded to every one of our communication in a way that showed he is “all-in” for his clients when he takes a case. After observing him in action, I can confirm that he is highly skilled in arguing in front of a judge, has vast experience across multiple counties and knows multiple judges and courtrooms, and knows family law inside and out. While I’m happy with my current attorney (who also hired Barry, and hence recommended him when the conflict arose), I’d not hesitate to hire Barry again and recommend him to everyone I know. Once you work with the best, it’s hard to work with anyone else!!!

From working with Karen, I learned that she is patient and detailed in her work. I was involved in a case and missed the court. When I received the verdict I was desperate. I called 5 different law firms to ask for help, but most of them told me they cannot help me. My colleagues recommended Jacalen's firm. They told me if there is anyone can help me in my case, her firm would be the best place in Ann Arbor area. So I went there hoping there would help me. I was lucky that Jacalen was there and she reviewed my case. She gave me some very professional advises and explained in detail how I could do for my situation. After I hired her as my lawyer in that case, she helped me solved my problem in time. After 4 months, the lawyer from another side in that case came to me again and ask money, saying I owe him about $5,000. I sent Jacalen an email ask for help, she helped me in the second day and the lawyer on the other side admit that the letter ask money from me is a mistake. She helped me again in time. And she did not charge me for this. I do appriate her quick response and very professional, honest, and thoughful service.
In this case, I can see she is a very experienced, honest, and professional lawyer. It is my lucky to have her help me.

Starla Zehr helped me navigate the divorce process that included 2 small children within the Oakland County, Michigan court system. I was grateful to have had her expertise and ear when it came to representing me and my best interests. She always took into account my overall situation and presented me with all the potential options I could pursue. She assisted me in making reasonable and thoughtful decisions during stressful times and fought for the issues I was steadfast on with her lawyer gloves strapped on. As lovely as she is, I don't *hope* to see Starla again, but with that tricky ex, it could well be a reality eventually. I am just glad I have a solid professional to turn to should anything that requires a motion or a judge ever comes up in the future. I had a couple of referrals to attorneys, but Starla actually represented my ex's 1st wife in her divorcing him, so I looked her up, saw she was closeby in Waterford, took it as an overall sign from the Gods and gave her office a ring. The time she took with me during the free consultation was generous and the information she provided was eye-opening. Figured hiring her would make also make it twice as nice for the ex, so I would like to thank him for the personal referral when. He would periodically mention Starla's name over the years with low-grade hate, wincing eyes, and a wee bit of a snarl. If that isn't the best form of marketing for a lawyer referral, I don't know what is. And who doesn't love a highly personal recommendation, right? So put Starla Zehr on your short-list of lawyer consultations if things are getting hinky in your marriage. She put me in my place when it was needed, but I always felt like she had my back, too. Good stuff.

Dealing with Landlords can be a scary thing. Your entire household is on the line. Gary was calming and patient and explained what could and could not be done; what my options were; the best course of action and WHY. Legalese can be very tricky and landlords have the upper hand and lawyers of their own AND they have dealt with this kind of situation multiple times. So has Gary.
