When my rights were being trampled over, Bedford twp Veteran Center pointed me to Mr. Blume as a lawyer. He is very good at rerouting your mind when you are speaking to him about your case, if you get distracted with non important details, he keeps you on track essentially saving your money/time.
When you hire Mr Blume, you are getting a lot more than you think for your retainer and continued fees.
He is simply worth more than what he charges, and that is my bottom line.
If you give him all of your evidence and annotations etc, he handles the court room; You can mostly sit back and watch him work. Unless I am spoken to, I keep my mouth shut entirely unless directed, and it works out every single time.
When you hire Mr. Blume, he really is All In on your case. He is very very perceptive of peoples' mannerisms, and knows how to approach multiple situations that are all pretty high stress. He is respectful to the court, and he will make sure your concerns are heard while in the hearing.
*Have patience, always*; court often moves slow. Sometimes there are days you all show up with lawyers and the court doesn't handle the business You wanted. That's more often than not, out of a lawyers control.
In the end, do you want what's best for you and yours? This man will help you get there.
I type this as I was awarded majority custody of my kiddos through our efforts together, and I cannot thank him enough for his efforts.

I hired Mrs. Richie as my attorney for a custody matter. (Parenting time) She promised me that she would try everything in her power to get my children back home. Unfortunately that didn’t happen and I only received phone time. She was very knowledgeable, but didn’t seem to use her knowledge as much as she should have during the time of her being my attorney. I was left to do all the foot work, and hardly any of my completed documentation was submitted to the courts that I worked so hard to get during this time. Lastly she withdrew from my case at the time I needed her most, and said the reasoning was because I wasn’t following her legal advice. When in all actuality, I went above and beyond on everything the judge ordered. She also was very soft spoken.

The worst experience ever!!! They literally charged me $1,500.00 to e-mail my papers to the FOC! I hired Mr. Dawson and was passed on to some assistant attorney who never sat down with me to go over my case or give me any type of counseling! Child support law is an area I’m not familiar with.. first because I wasn’t born or raised here. Second, because my original FOC order had been agreed privately. I went to the hearing not knowing what to expect…In fact, a week and half before the hearing, I called very upset and complaining that I hadn’t heard from them and was completely lost and needed their guidance! In the end I went to a hearing nervous and totally unprepared to what my ex was objecting to. Hope you make good use of the 1500.00 that I had to borrow to pay for your “non-counseling” services!!!

There should have been a conflict of interest stated right off the bat in my case. I used to work for him. Haslem is an attorney that will lie & create false narratives about the opposing party. 6 years post divorce, he still hasn’t figured out how to read the messy JOD that he created. I can show where he threatens me every single holiday especially Christmas, my birthday and Mother’s Day. It’s time the judge sees what he and my ex are continuing to do. Haslem refused to turn over properties due me in our JOD so I had to sue for it 4 years later and finally got it. His assistant is as dishonest as he is. I’m sure Haslem doesn’t know she helped me get away from him when I used to work for him. He will promise you the moon, charge you quadruple for it and deliver pizza. If you want a very dirty divorce with no peace until your kids graduate- hire him. You’ll keep paying him too. If you want peace and put your children first-do not hire him. The sad thing is, my eldest now sees how dirty Haslem plays and the lies he and my ex make up. He doesn’t create a healthy environment for kids in a divorce at all.

Mark Haslem came to my rescue after I exploited an arrogant and pretentious lawyer from a large firm. Haslem helped me resolve a very contentious divorce with my former spouse, who tried anything and everything to cheat the system. As opposed to the big firm, Haslem fought hard on my behalf to attain a fair settlement and to protect my financial interests, which was not easy when facing someone with a personality disorder. If Alan Cooper said he'd do something, that meant he'd do it (maybe) 3 weeks later. Consistently dropping the ball, requiring us to call, text and email him constantly to figure out if he'd done what he'd said he would do. His responses were always vague. Often did something different than agreed upon with us and played stupid (he probably forgot what we agreed upon anyway). This resulted in thousands of dollars needlessly lost in our case and significant life holdups. Will not hire again for anything at all, whatsoever.

I was in a very tough spot with my son's mother. She was on a downward spiral that was clearly effecting my son and Alan didn't hesitate to reassure me that I would get my son away from that atmosphere. Susan is the best and efficient lawyer I could have ever asked for. I live out of state but I am from Michigan, and it was so easy to communicate with her through phone, email and zoom. Horrible very unprofessional, he didn’t do any ground work in my divorce if it wasn’t for my initiative on my own I would have loss everything including my family home. He didn’t even subpoena my witness. I felt interrogated threaten and I was unable to contact on the phone prior to the divorce was final. I didn’t even receive an itemize bill to this day.

My case has been heard once at this point and Stacy represented my interests very well. This includes overcoming several roadblocks and push-back from the court as well as the other party. 1. Guardianship for my grandson.
2. A good friend that is an attorney recommend Tabono law
3. My attorney provided us guidance through the process and did all the paperwork work needed.
4. We received temporary Guardianship within 2 weeks and permanent Guardianship shortly thereafter.
5. This was a really hard time for my wife and I but our attorney was comforting and understanding and advised us on every step of the process and was available any time we had questions or needed assurance. We are very satisfied with all the work our attorney and the staff did for us. They made a very stressful time a lot easier for us and our grandson to get through. We are all grateful.
