I hired Jackie for my divorce and child custody case, and I am so glad that I did. She is the best of the best. After a failed attempt with my first attorney, Attorney Daniel Andoni was knowledgeable, courteous and aggressive to my needs for my court case. I am almost fifty years old and have never had a run in with the law. I had a momentary lapse of better judgement and was facing six months in jail at the behest of the complaintent which I had never met in my life. I had a very serious case in which jail time was on the table and had Karen not been my lawyer, I couldn't have said that I wouldn't serve time. I was facing two felonies and a misdemeanor. Her experience and knowledge was a must with my case and her work ethic for me was next to none. She's very easy to talk to and someone that's very genuine, honest, trustworthy, and understanding. In a tough time Karen was there for me and my situation and was willing to work with me as my main residence is out of state, in California. When it was all said and done she worked out a deal that handed me probation with no jailtime and essentially my life back. Mike has a desire to be successful in his services and representing myself. This was first demonstrated to me when Mike did his research on me to determine if I was being honest with him in the beginning. When he was certain that he was given all the correct facts, he took on the case. I really appreciated this, because when he accepted my case, he was committed to it and to me. Mike would review every aspect with me and explain the alternatives including the potential cost impacts with the various options before proceeding. Mike dealt professionally with everything that needed to be addressed. He discussed the issues with me and listened to what I had to say without making any pre-judgments. Mike would summarize the issues well and keep to the facts even though the other party attempted to “rabbit trail” at every opportunity. My “after-divorce” problems continued for years as the other party would continually challenge the final order. Even in this, Mike dealt professionally and worked to keep my interests protected. Mike is a professional individual that is first looking for a mutual agreement in a divorce but when a mutual agreement is not obtainable, he worked aggressively for my interests.

3 Different MI Lawyers told me they did not feel comfortable taking my case because they felt they couldn't win. Michael took my money and told me I could win, right off the bat...that should tell you everything you need to know. I will not take this review down unless his law firm makes things right with me and my wife.

The Synopsis: Michael "terminated" as he would say, our agreement because I missed two calls we had scheduled. CONTEXT: I missed his call because I was at my wedding rehearsal, preparing for my wedding, the next day. I truly believe there was a deeper reason as to why he terminated our agreement that he does not want to admit. However, I'm just going to speculate because I'm fearful Michael will come after me in the court room because his resources are much vaster than mine.

I was involved in a case and missed the court. When I received the verdict I was desperate. I called 5 different law firms to ask for help, but most of them told me they cannot help me. My colleagues recommended Jacalen's firm. They told me if there is anyone can help me in my case, her firm would be the best place in Ann Arbor area. So I went there hoping there would help me. I was lucky that Jacalen was there and she reviewed my case. She gave me some very professional advises and explained in detail how I could do for my situation. After I hired her as my lawyer in that case, she helped me solved my problem in time. After 4 months, the lawyer from another side in that case came to me again and ask money, saying I owe him about $5,000. Dealing with Landlords can be a scary thing. Your entire household is on the line. Gary was calming and patient and explained what could and could not be done; what my options were; the best course of action and WHY. We found Mary through her families law offices as we have had Tim Gergely as an attorney. Our family case was filled with outrageous allegations by the other party and truly alienating my parenting as a father to my two children(teenage ages). Mary was able to sift through the false allegations and really see what I wanted and what was best for the kids. She truly cares for families and children. Mary was always prompt with returning phone calls and emails the same day. She was always available for our questions and concerns and helped put us at ease with her knowledge and compassion. My family used Dillon & Dillon for a few different things throughout the past decade. I met with Paul Dillon and had a case that was a little tricky. He did everything in his power to overcome any obstacles, that were in his way. Paul Dillon was reliable, pro-active, honest, patient and fearless in court. I would HIGHLY recommend him! Harriet and Nancy were truly amazing during my divorce. What I liked was their ability to keep me focused on the final result while sorting through both the emotional and financial issues.
