I had spoken to a few lawyers prior to hiring Ms Jackson, her consultation was the first one that made me feel heard and understood; like she truly saw the big and small picture. I felt like an actual person instead of another client.
Thanks to her the court process was simple and even my minor stress points were given attention and care through the whole process.
I believe she specializes in custody, but she handled my whole divorce and put down all the mischaracterized accusations thrown my way.
I have a fair and equitable post divorce and suffered no serious damages to credit or other typical post divorce losses. I got the 50/50 custody arrangement I petitioned for and see my child often, and have equal authority towards her well being.
I would hire Jozefa again in a heart beat, and truly believe that if I hired anyone else I would not have been successful in defending myself.

After consulting with several attorneys in the Pittsburgh area, it was clear that Scott Levine stood out for many reasons.
The main reason I recommend working with Scott is because after one consultation I could tell he actually cared. He was not focused on "getting my business" or rudely rushingme to make a decision like other attorneys I spoke with.
Instead, Mr. Levine was prompt, polite, patient, and genuinely interested in learning the facts of my case to cut through legal BS and make a difficult situation easier to understand and deal with.
Peace of mind is crucial to making wise decisions when you're under the stress of divorce proceedings. Scott eased my mind and restored my confidence.
He also helped me see that certain options I was considering would likely be a waste of time and money (even though he could have been the one to make that money). That's a rare trait in any profession, especially in the expensive world of divorce law.

If you are dealing with a family matter, I highly recommend working with Tina Corr.
Pricing: Tina Corr was fair and consistent with pricing. Her contract was straightforward and easy to read. Prices are reasonable and billing was explicitly spelled out ahead of time so no surprises.
Personality: Tina Corr was wonderful to talk to. She gave me the truth even if it wasn't what I wanted to hear. She read everything I sent (and I mean read, not just received) and she responded mindfully to all of my concerns.
Efficiency: Tina Corr was responsive (almost always within 24 hours via phone or email!) and efficient with paperwork. Everything was filed correctly on time if not early. I never felt like my lawyer left me hanging.
Flexibility: Tina Corr was able to respond specifically to the unique needs and requests I had for my case. I think family cases can be nuanced and mine was no different. Tina Corr was able curate the work on her end to suit my specific circumstance. I attribute this to the fact that she's a good listener and perceptive; qualities that can be difficult to find in a lawyer.

Recently used New Hope Divorce Mediation, in particular Mindey Elgart, to handle my no contest divorce. It was a very pleasant process, given the situation, and went smoothly from the beginning to the end. After the initial meeting where we discussed all the details, we met one more time to finalize the settlement agreement. After that there was a 90 day waiting period. During all that time, Mindey and her office was very diligent at sending us all the paperwork and explaining everything step by step, when and how to properly sign and mail all the documents to the court. After the 90 day waiting period, it just took another 2 months to receive the divorce decree from the judge. I would highly recommend Mindey and New Hope Divorce Mediation to others to handle their divorce case.

I hired Lenore about 18 months ago after firing 3 other attorneys....the last of which nearly bankrupted me when he failed to file
an appeal of an outrageous child support award.
There are many attributes of Lenore that are really rare in divorce attorneys:
* non-confrontational
* high attention-to-detail
* outgoing and friendly
* reasonably rate given her high quality of service
She handled my case with high level of professionalism.
Lenore represented me at both a master's level and then a judge's level for equitable distribution.
In both cases, she was well prepared and very convincing in these hearings...especially the latter where there were nearly 10,000 pages of documentation.
She arrived at the court house with a luggage carrier holding nearly 4 FEET of documents !
Her performance was exemplary thanks to careful preparation.
When the hearing was over, we walked out of the courthouse and she gave me a big hug as we said goodbye !

I hired Chas to handle a case for me after a previous attorney had screwed it up. Chas was willing to trust my view of things, without automatically siding with the previous attorney just because he was an attorney. He was also willing to let my husband handle filing all the documents, analyzing complicated estate accountings, preparing spreadsheets, and providing potential arguments to advance, which saved a ton of money on paralegal work. Chas was open with me, explained everything, and even allowed me to frequently argue with him (he claimed to enjoy it). He's a really nice guy and totally honest. The one thing I'd fault him for is that he isn't good at scheduling. Chas tends to let cases slide a bit till trial time (he loves trials), and then, since three trials had piled up consecutively, he was unable to spend enough time preparing for mine. However, he later hired an assistant and that seemed to help a lot.

I had the pleasure of getting to know Lisa Harding! When I called her to represent me at a conference hearing I was surprised that I was able to get her on the phone the first day. She was much more informative about the court system then my last lawyer concerning child support. She didn't just show up to conference she communicated with me through the entire process prior to. The best experience during a worst case scenario. My son was facing false allegations of a Title IX violation. We researched and consulted several leading legal advisors throughout the country.
