A lawyer that cares and does the right thing 🤯 This guy didn’t represent me or take any money from me but spoke to me on 4 different occasions to help me with a workers compensation situation. To start, no one knows what to expect going into a dirty divorce. Mrs. Brianna Davis and her team were referred to me by another highly reputable attorney. I had the privilege of working with Ralph Santoro at the office of Goldberg Jones over the course of the last year and a half. Ralph was simply outstanding, if I could recommend an attorney to anyone going through the same divorce and custody struggles that I went through, I would recommend Ralph any day of the week.
For starters, Ralph has never been one to shy away from conflict with the opposing party, a lot of attorneys will often times take the path of least resistance when it comes to fighting for their client. However, this was not the case with Ralph, he secured the custody agreement I wanted and got favorable terms for my divorce. Ralph helped me get through what was supposed to be an amicable divorce but turned out to be very nasty. He was extremely knowledgeable, always on time with requests, and quick to get back to me anytime I contacted him. He made me comfortable knowing that his goal was not to make as much work as possible in order to gain more hours from me. He often discussed various options in terms of the amount of work necessary and what it would cost me, but did not push me to do anything I wasn't comfortable with. I highly recommend Ralph for any divorce/family law needs.

Ben Aguilar is a talented, whip-smart, and thorough attorney. He is all business in his interactions but he was very thoughtful and sensitive about my situation as a divorced Dad with a child whom I miss dearly. He writes impeccable correspondence. About twenty years ago, Tony had helped my parents and I get through a challenging criminal case. Achieving the best result possible. But, it is now twenty years later and I am scrambling for an attorney in a family law case. I thought of Tony briefly, but shrugged him off thinking.....he doesn't practice family law. Until, I am now down to the wire and I need representation fast, like now. I am downtown San Diego and I decide to reach out to Tony on a whim. Not only do I locate Tony, I leave a message with his firm briefly explaining the situation. Its a Friday and I am thinking I am toast. The next day, Saturday, and Tony calls and tells me to meet him on Monday to go over the case. I did not even have to ask him one question about fees? is he available, can he be proactive, nothing. It was like such loyalty from his prior work twenty years ago like it was yesterday! He did not miss a beat. He was on it from hello and went on to win with the best results possible. I guess I am trying to say that Tony is so good and with it for his clients that he responded just like the twenty years did not even exist. He operates today like he did twenty years ago. I have never heard of a divorce is traumatizing or as messy as my own. I was devastated by the unfair and untrue allegations my ex brought to the court and the resulting financial, custody, emotional and mental battle that ensued. Tony met with me the same day I contacted him and assured me he would always tell the truth even if I didn’t want to hear it. I was not at all prepared financially for this divorce and we worked out a very reasonable payment plan. The constant onslaught of paperwork, emails, Serving notices and phone calls were very overwhelming but Tony was able to take care of everything for me and simplify the process in a situation I thought would never resolve. Once the dust settled and I felt emotionally and mentally ready to represent myself Tony graciously shared the pros and cons of my decision and we came to an agreement that I could handle the rest on my own. Absolutely loved having Steven as my attorney. I had to unfortunately seek assistance with a divorce and Steven gave me a great initial consultation where we were not only able to talk about options, but put a plan in place for how we’d like to go forward (I came prepared with financial and asset information). The consultation was two hours long and he didn’t even charge for that first consultation. As things progressed Steven was able to quickly prepare documents and was able to continue to provide legal counsel when it was required - even ad hoc. Because Steven runs his own firm, he doesn’t have to maintain a staff of paralegals which made the retainer we agreed upon go that much further. If I ever require legal advice, counsel or a retained attorney, Steven will be the first on my list.

I needed an attorney to assist with a pseudo-domestic issue and Ashley was extremely professional, diligent, and helped to keep the costs down as well. I engaged Ms Hoddy to represent me in an uncontested divorce. Even though it was uncontested there were a lot of details to consider due to it being a 20 year marriage with a minor child and a business. I am not Ms. Neumann’s client. But I can say she did a great job for her own client. Because she fought for a guy to win in DVTRO and get the shared custody. This is a guy who touched his 9 year old daughter during/after the shower and videotaped her while she was changing her clothes, and who withheld medication and night-guard from his 8 year old son, who developed migraine/headache and grinding teeth after DVTRO was filed. This does not even include what he did to his ex-spouse.

When I came to Sara I had hired and consulted another lawyer to handle a paternity suit that was sprung on me while I was visiting the USA after residing in another country. This was very difficult, as I could not leave the country with my child and go home to my husband and my child's stepdad (whom she views as her dad). I was very scared because I had single-handedly raised my child and I knew no one else should have the right to keep me from traveling anywhere, as this person had not even contributed to my child's birth or upbringing in any significant way.
But, that being said, the reality was such that I was being advised by my first lawyer that I should respond to the paternity suit with a move-away trial as I had barely missed dismissing the case with a jurisdictional claim.
I felt something was off though, because this case was so clear and cut (my ex was not on the birth certificate, he had not emotionally or financially supported me/the child in any significant way).
**I saw the light when I spoke to Sara. She confirmed my intuition with her expertise, immediately confirming that I indeed could file for a termination of parental rights. She lay my fears to rest. We met and I presented her with the facts of my case. After assuring me she would not take my case if she did not believe she could help me, I released my other lawyer from duty and hired her.
What a great decision!! She lived up to her reassurances: it took perhaps longer than the move away trial, which was inconvenient only due to my particular case of being in a country we no longer reside in, away from my husband and our new life abroad, yet so worth it so that, a) my husband could adopt my son; and, b) to get the ex out of our hair so that he could no longer make our lives difficult.
I had faced a lot of disempowering conversations amongst not only people, acquaintances, etc. but also lawyers: people discouraging me from doing the termination of parental rights just because it sounded "mean" and so "final" to them. I knew inside of me, however, that the way my ex was handling this was unhealthy and selfish towards my child, with a paternity suit (after I had tried SO many times to civilly settle for some kind of visitation, yet he disappeared whenever he wanted, was inconsistent, and really only looked after his own interests and not my son's, who needs consistency in his life) and not being agreeable to reaching some kind of settlement (other than keeping my child after he had NEVER had custody, ever, or even seen him more than a handful of times/hours in his years of life).
The point is--Sara empowered me. She never once questioned me, she backed me up 100% and was a strong ally. She understand completely what I wanted, why I wanted it, has a child herself and understood my protective feelings toward my child, that I was 100% committed to her best interest.
She did her job diligently. I knew I could count on her to show up at the court appearances, and made an uncomfortable situation even pleasant. She wrote the briefs in such a way that made complete sense to me. She has ample expertise on the topic of stepparent adoption and termination of parental rights. She knew a lot of the staff in the courts/ offices we were in, and they knew her. She was personable, kind, compassionate, prepared, in communication, easy to get a hold of. Her offices made it easy and pleasant to pick up/drop off documents.
Also, when I told her that I was looking to get budget-oriented towards the middle of the whole legal situation, she was so cooperative and helpful with this.
We won our case and just got word the appeal was dismissed as well.
Cannot recommend her enough if you are in this sort of situation. She certainly seems like *THE* lawyer to hire in any kind of similar situation. I recommend her fully.
