Jordan Taylor of Henderson Taylor Law Firm was such a tremendous source of help from start to finish with my auto accident. Jordan is extremely knowledgeable, professional, attentive and reliable. He makes himself available to answer any and all questions or concerns. Jordan walked me through what to expect during my deposition, in turn calming my nerves, which was so helpful.
Jordan’s paralegal, Rose is also extremely knowledgeable, helpful, thorough very kind. My phone calls were answered and/or returned as soon as possible.
I also had their support and compassion in that while going through this process, I lost my husband.. he passed away suddenly and unexpectedly.

I have used two other firms before this one and it always ended badly.
I hired Hannah Gurewitz to help me a single father modify my parenting plan and child support I was owed. With Hannah’s help you could call it a win by landslide. I thought for sure being a man things would never go in my favor but I was wrong. It started out rocky with lots of unknowns and then Hannah took control and it was like a huge weight being lifted off of me. I will hire her again.

Amanda is a godsend. I had a tough time not only dealing with my child's father, but finding someone willing to take on a parenting plan not tied to a divorce. She was able to deftly navigate antagonistic emails in a timely fashion, made sure she was available at critical events and only billed for time spent, and protected my daughter and myself by making sure I didn't sign anything without her review. Amanda made a difficult and time-consuming process as painless as possible. I highly recommend her!

Going through a separation is hard enough but having to go through it when a child is involved makes it 10x harder. While still grieving and being so confused on what to do next I contacted Amanda’s office to schedule a consult. During the consult Amanda was extremely mindful, understanding and patient, she talked me through exactly what needed to happen and even provided me with options on how she would be able to help depending on how much I was wanting to put into the process. After thinking it over I hired Amanda and asked that she handle everything and she delivered! The process was so easy and she walked me through it the entire time. Amanda’s communication was amazing and she made sure to respond to any questions I had either same day or the following business day. While working with Amanda I could tell she truly cared about me, when I would have guilt about any part of the situation she would listen and give me the best advice, she never pushed me to do anything I truly didn’t want to do. I can’t thank Amanda and her team enough for helping me through the hardest situation I have ever encountered in my life. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone that is needing help. Erica and her team of Caitlin and Dona absolutely saved me in so many ways. I was awarded 78% custody of my kids in the end, and a very fair financial settlement which is saying a lot in the State of WA. My case was a roller coaster that many would say only happens in nightmares, but the team was able to deliver a very prompt and professional approach to the case and also keep my mental state in check. I couldn’t be happier with how it all ended on a positive note, and cannot thank everyone at KSL that was apart of this journey with me. Erica and her team have been nothing short of phenomenal!!! I tried taking my child's mother to court 3 times after she kidnapped her and was unsuccessful because I had no idea how to properly navigate the court systems before I finally bit the bullet and looked into hiring an attorney. I called 3 different firms when I started my search for a good legal team. The first didn't answer nor call me back, the second firm was really dry and short with me during my initial phone call like they didn't seem to care about what I was saying just throwing price quotes in my face, so I hung up on them and then I contacted Knauf Santos law. From the initial intake phone call her office was so empathetic, so inviting, so kind and they seemed so eager to know more and try to help me! They stood out from all the other firms so I had a great feeling about them and after having my consultation 2 days after the intake phone call I knew they were the firm for me. Erica was so personable, so empathetic, so knowledgeable and so strategic! Erica brought it to my attention at the intake that I had enough evidence to not only have my ex held in contempt but also other things AND I could even get more residential time with my child than what I was initially given in my initial parenting plan (which I always dreamed of) but I had no idea!
The fight was long, this custody battle has been hard, 2 years ago I started out with a 4 hour visit a week (super unfair) and now 2 years later with the help of Erica, Dona and their fabulous team I now have full custody of my daughter and I'm so grateful because I couldn't have done any of this without them. Not because it wasn't possible but because I was so lost without them and they have so much knowledge and access to things I had no idea of! They've helped me in so many ways! Since hiring them we have been undefeated in court.
Things got tough dealing with my case, they continued to stand by me and help guide me during this process and were so punctual, I remember one day I emailed Dona (Paralegal) and was like wait you guys that thing was due 2 days ago what do we do now?!!!! Dona responded, we already had that taken care of don't worry. :) They have been so on top of things and handling all the all the footwork and making things clear for me and prompting me to do things correctly, they made this horrible experience as breezy and smooth sailing for as they possibly could, I tell ya! I paid a lot of money out of pocket to cover expenses but it was worth every. single. penny. I would do it all over again. I tell anyone I know or run into about these guys! Dona and Erica are angels, I feel like I owe them so much more than what I have to give for all they've done for me and my family during the hardest time in our life. I hope God continues to bless them in life and everything that they do.

Unfortunately, I've had to use Renee Lee far too many times. First, for my divorce from 2012-2014 and many instances since. She is reliable, determined, and committed. She has done a fabulous job every time that I've had to use her. She almost got me 50/50 custody of my son. I have him 12 days out of 30, and all holidays and school breaks are 50/50. I highly recommend her.

Kirstyn and Catherine were great advocates when my Ex was infringing on my parental rights with visitation. So often, and particularly in WA State, fathers are at a disadvantage when trying to enforce parenting plans and court orders. Kirstyn was able to provide balanced advice telling me what is and is not possible based on our prior Court Orders, and we determined that my Ex was in fact in contempt. We then created a case and roadmap setting expectations of possible outcomes, and Catherine represented me in court. Even though the judge was blatently against us in court based on his opinion of our verbal argument (his own bias), the written contempt was ironclad and indisputable and as a result we won, creating better and healthier boundries with my Ex. I was even awarded some of the money from the judge based on the degree of contempt and Catherine's ability to outline the ramifications.

Gwynna helped me successfully mediate a divorce. I was given her name by my financial planner, as Gwynna has successfully helped high income people through a messy process. She engaged a forensic accountant, helping me trace a lot of assets as separate property. Well worth it! Really prompt communication on the status of the case. I wasn't always happy with the speed of the process but that's primarily because the other party hired a dork and things get worked in the order they are needed. Cory is an amazing member of her team. I knew if I found an error in one of his documents, I was batting 1000.

I found Gwynna through other reviews. I met with her for a complimentary personal meeting. I came prepared with questions and some paperwork. She was very up front with me about what would be realistic in my situation and how she could help. After our meeting I felt confident that she was the right person to represent me. Divorce is HARD no matter what the circumstances are (or are not). I had my ideas of how it would all pan out....but my way was not all the "right way". Gwynna was very much on my side, to be there to support me, guide me and calm me down when I felt like I was going to lose my mind! She was up front and very honest. Supported me, but also helped me understand how the court system (and judges see things) so that we could make this the best outcome for me. I do have 2 young adult girls, so there was no decisions to be made with child support. But we did figure out fair amounts to be paid towards college. It was a LOT of work (on my side and hers). I trusted her, she VERY MUCH knows the system and how things work. She was able to handle my husbands narcissist personality and was great at adapting to the 2 lawyers my husband had through out the process. I can definitely say that she took care of me throught this 10 month process, explaining things to me, working with me through the bad and good, got me through mediation (instead of court) with a good outcome, and really showed empathy and compassion. I highly recommend her to anyone going through a divorce!

We cannot recommend Ashley enough. She helped us navigate a complex and emotionally taxing divorce case. The opposing party was extremely erratic, difficult and clearly displayed narcissistic tendencies that made the process even more challenging. 18 months after my divorce was settled, I was laid off. When I found work again, I took a significant pay cut, making it impossible to pay my original maintenance amount. Then my ex petitioned to relocate cross-country with our kids, while demanding I continue to pay well more than I could now afford. I consulted multiple lawyers, expressing my desire to oppose the relocation and request a decrease in support payment. Several said no immediately, one felt it would be an “easy win,” and one charged a fee just to meet with their “intake specialist.” In contrast, Scott was patient, empathetic, and balanced. He gave me a very candid and practical assessment of my situation, and his opinion on my chances to win.
After we mutually agreed to go forward, he was responsive, made himself available even when my schedule wasn’t convenient, and was very collaborative. When mediation failed, he demonstrated his intellect and deep knowledge of the law in court. My ex’s lawyer focused his efforts on attacking my character. My ex-wife filed for divorce a year ago and her lawyer filed a restraining order against me immediately before a visit to see my son, despite the fact I did not reside in the state, and having no specific previous conflict that merited such an action. I had a free consultation with Scott who was very good at listening and sympathetic, and I decided to retain his services. He acted quickly to negotiate the withdrawal of the petition for a restraining order. Subsequently, a fair parenting plan was negotiated, which allowed me to see my son and contact him regularly while out of state, which was much better than the situation prior to my ex-wife filing for divorce, which depended on her whims. Child support was a concern, as my wife wanted an unreasonable amount of money, far beyond what I could afford. Scott was right in his interpretation of the facts and when he went to court the Commissioner favored his arguments, and the terms settled were fair. He was right on and did not waiver, which reflects his knowledge and many years of experience. Scott was always very aware of my concerns about costs, and he did initially give a very accurate prediction of final cost. In addition, he was always calm, polite, thoughtful, and empathetic with me, he built a rapport with my ex-wife's lawyer to negotiate, while being resolute in defending my interests. Getting divorced with Scott's representation was far less stressful than it might have been with another attorney.

I contacted Jack to ask for help with my Support Modification. After talking through the details and asks of the petition, Jack laid out the process in front of me to make sure I was prepared for all outcomes. The entire team quickly jumped on some immediate needs and scheduling to make sure I had the right support to put my best case in front of the judge. We had several hurdles to deal with as well as an impending trial date, but I felt like the entire team rallied around me to get me prepared. Josh and I worked together over several sessions to create a fair strategy and proactively address the key issues. In what was supposed to be my trial date, Josh quickly jumped on an issue that perhaps the judge had not reviewed key submissions and requested a continuance to make sure everything was considered.
