This lawyer is the most amazing lawyer ever! She fought so gard for me and help get my little boy back to me after i was accused of abuse, when really he had a metabolic bone disease. We won our 7 day trial and my baby boy was returned to us right away. Not only did lisa win our case, but she enailed me constantly about my case and whenever i needed her, i could call her. She always answered my questions right away! She is amazing and the true definition of a lawyer and what they are suppose to do to protect yheir clients!

I would highly recommend Lisa Elliot. She helped me through my divorce. She was very knowledgeable through the whole process. What I appreciated most about Lisa was how responsive she was. She answered phone calls and emails in a very timely manner and kept me informed. I had many questions throughout the divorce and she was quick to give me clear answers. This has been a painful personal experience for me, but Lisa put my mind at ease with all of the legal aspects.

I was introduced to Troy Courage via referral from WSBA's Moderate Means program -- of which Troy is generously a participant -- as I found myself in a situation ultimately requiring filing for personal bankruptcy. In his representation, Troy was always the true professional with a wonderful "bedside" ("client-side"?) manner, including when my case required unforeseen extra hours in the courtroom. I consulted with Bill on several matters concerning my divorce and he was very helpful. Bill knows the divorce laws of the state of Washington very well, but more importantly, he educated me on the bigger picture of how to deal with my divorce arbitration. He knew the arbitrator and his tendencies of how he might rule based on previous cases that were similar to mine. This helped me prepare better for my case and I feel that I received good advice. He (collectively to include his staff) has full command and a deep understanding of the process. They were patient, provided clarity and were always responsive. I spoke with several lawyers before choosing Matthew. The others I spoke with told me I didn't have a case and even though I understood that and still wanted to move forward they didn't want to help me.
When I spoke with Matthew he listened to what I had to say and was willing to help me. He was very direct with me regarding my case which I appreciated. He quoted me a flat fee and was able to stick to the quoted cost. He represented me with my former employer and was able to negotiate a nice severance for me when others told me I had no chance.
He was timely in his communication and always kept me informed. I'd highly recommend him.

I’m a criminal defense lawyer with 45 years of experience, so when it came to my own difficult, complicated divorce, I knew I needed the best lawyer possible. My first lawyer was, at best, mediocre. Then, during a court zoom hearing a couple of months into my divorce, I watched and listened to Cynthia First representing another petitioner. It took me five minutes to make the decision to see if she would represent me.
I know lawyers and the quality of what they do, having worked with or opposite as many as 400 of them. There are three at the top of the list, lawyers who are brilliant, caring, dedicated. Ms First is one of those three. She’s super smart and knowledgeable not only about the law but also about people and situations. Her skills in representation go beyond that: She cares about her clients. My emails were answered immediately, even during off hours.

Will Reingold was one of the attorneys who represented me in my divorce. Will’s overall attentiveness to the case and its myriad of deadlines demonstrated a high degree of detail-orientation that was incredibly reassuring during a very difficult period. It was a contentious case in which many motions were filed by both parties, which meant a lot of legal writing had to be done. Will’s writing was unfailingly crisp, concise (while still comprehensive), and persuasive. Through his writing I could tell how seriously he took my case, and how much he cared about the way his rhetoric would put me in a position to achieve a positive outcome. Additionally, the speed with which Will was able to produce incredibly well-written artifacts was equally impressive.
