I was confused and devastated with what my ex put me through regarding our son. I did my research and decided to go with Cordell and Cordell! Everyone I met at the firm was courteous, professional, and extremely helpful! Elisabeth was who I ended up going with from the firm, and I couldn’t have been any more satisfied! She is extremely knowledgeable! She is very down to earth. Being my first experience with attorneys, I had no clue what I was doing. In short, Elisabeth has been wonderful to work with. Her approach is to be a concerned listener first which puts both of us in a better position to negotiate without compromising on the issues I feel most strongly about. She is always thinking ahead on what will need to happen next in the legal process and is very diligent in keeping me posted on what is going on with my case.
Being such a good listener also has the advantage that she is often the 'calm' in my 'storm' when I am experiencing high levels of anxiety with what is happening between myself and the other party.

I had to leave my ex very suddenly, moving away from my home in California. When I arrived in Wisconsin, I knew I needed to start the divorce proceedings to break all ties, but wasn't sure how to even begin in such a convoluted situation. Chris was very understanding of the nuances of my situation and very patient with my inability to directly contact my ex. Laura (Chris' paralegal) was personally encouraging and warm towards me. They treated my case with attention to the real person (me) involved - I never felt like a checklist item to them. Chris Henry was absolutely everything that I could have asked for in a lawyer during my divorce. I would say that a divorce is probably one of the most difficult things that anyone will have to go through in their lives, and Chris was there for me every step of the way. He explained exactly what each step was, and walked me through the process. He was available whenever something came up, day or night. It is now about 10 years since Attorney Steiner handled a divorce and custody case for our family. Without her thorough knowledge of legal theory and unwavering pursuit of pertinent evidence a child's life would have been subjected to very unfortunate circumstances. She made us feel that our case was the most important matter she was handling. She has a relationship with the court and related legal entities that give her an advantage over her opponents. She doesn't recognize the words "giving in" and has only one goal, to win.

Attorney Beilke is very knowledgeable on Wisconsin family law, and so when I asked him questions, he had ready answers, which saves time. He was aware that I had a tight budget and so he let me know what I could do on my own vs. paying him to do, to help keep my costs down. He was also unflappable when the opposing party became contentious.

Erica was the only one willing to help me. My original lawyer was as worthless as tits on a bore hog. The second one I talked to pretty much never responded to following ups and the third said I didn't have a chance. Erica listened to my situation and didn't make any promises but was willing to help me. She got more done in a couple of months than the others over years. The most important thing to me was that I believe she was genuinely on my side. Wish I would have found her in the first place. It's great not having to pay alimony anymore to someone who hates you and makes a descent income and lives with her boyfriend. Some guys get what they deserve but a lot don't and in this state, men are definitely starting out on the losing side. Thanks to people like Erica, we might stand a chance for a fair hearing.

When my ex-wife petitioned for sole placement, I was terrified that I wouldn’t experience all the joys of being a father – coaching my kid’s baseball team, going camping and fishing. But Erica was there for me. She not only made me feel like I had a right to be with my kids, but she got the court to respect those rights too.
When my ex “didn’t feel” like dropping off the kids for the weekend even though we had agreed that the weekend was my time with them, Erica took my frantic phone call, after 5:00 on a Friday! She got a hold of my ex’s attorney and somehow convinced them to let me see my sons.
I now have 50/50 placement and my two sons and I are going ice-fishing this weekend. I would recommend Erica to any father trying to deal with a difficult ex!

I knew John for more than 5 years by now. He is a great lawyer. My case went from a simple custody case to complicated divorce and relocation case. He was always well prepared and knew how to hand the case. The most thing I liked in dealing with him was being able to predict the court outcomes. He made a road map plan that we followed, and it worked well for us. He knew the plan that my ex-wife's attorney had which made me well prepared to the court.
I believe he knew my ex-wife personality better than I did. Eventually he got me 90% of what he said he would try to get " he never made promises to get me anything, which scared me at first, but now I know he was very honest with all his words". thank you John for the great job

I am a Senior and am a bladder cancer survivor. Because of my treatment I have very little time when nature calls. I was speeding on the freeway in an attempt to make the next exit. The police officer had little understanding and I was give a citation for a significant amount over the speed limit. I contacted Katz Law and received an IMMEDIATE response. Caleb said "not-to-worry" and he and his team went to work on my behalf. Everything was handled in such a professional manner and the final resolution was in my favor. Katz Law IS THE BEST and they did exactly as was promised. Not good, but GREAT!

I utilized attorney Seufert for what became an extremely long-drawn-out divorce. He went above and beyond to make sure things moved as quickly as possible on our end while continually keeping me in the loop and pushing to keep things moving. If I had questions or needed advice, he continually made himself available to assist with explanations or give his professional opinion. In the end I received an outcome that I feel was in the best interest of myself and my daughter. Even after things have been finalized, he has reached out to provide pertinent information that he feels may be helpful for me to know. I am beyond grateful I got to work with attorney Seufert during such a difficult time and could not recommend him more. Mine was a grandparent's visitation rights case - not typically granted in Wisconsin unless there is a death involved. My case didn't fit "typical" fashion.
Attorney Poletti (Mary) did a fantastic job for me. As an attorney, she's well educated, well informed and she knows the correct interpretation of the laws - and because she had informed me of what I needed to show to the court, I was granted temporary grandparent's visitation rights.
Mary is also very understanding, fair, honest and up front with the facts. I knew when I began the process that it was probably not going to be a win/win situation for me - however, I gained an extra year with my granddaughter and I learned a couple of priceless lessons.

Who would think contacting the bar association for something so silly would be needed.
Father and son both failed in a family case and gave hardly any effort. This place is definitely about money and getting no results done.
Also Ben Anderson will lie straight to your face even if you pay his business to have business.

Sent an email to Attorney Kuechler about my ex-wife moving my kids to a different county without telling anybody, and the only response received was a copy of my current bill.
