When I signed up for representation, the person who took care of my agreement for representation provided information that was not accurate. They said my timeframe for representation would not start until I met with my attorney. Two months went by, and I got emails for payment for my next stage payment when I had not even heard from my lawyer yet. That is when I called and actually found out who they gave me as a lawyer. They extended my timeframe thankfully. However, twice my financial statement had errors that should have been caught by the firm. They provided me with an appraisal person that I paid for, and he never even finished the appraisal of my property. I had emailed my lawyer and his paralegal several times asking questions and getting no responses. I was not provided any valuable information by them at all. I had representation for 6 months and all that was done was one phone call between me and my lawyer, they requested my husband to fill out the financial disclosure and mine and they sent that in, and drafted a child placement agreement that me and my soon to be ex-husband came up with ourselves. And they provided me an appraiser that could not even do the job. I definitely would never choose this option for representation ever again. Now I am down $10,000 for a couple forms being submitted and not even close to being ready for court that we had to postpone.

I utilized attorney Seufert for what became an extremely long-drawn-out divorce. He went above and beyond to make sure things moved as quickly as possible on our end while continually keeping me in the loop and pushing to keep things moving. If I had questions or needed advice, he continually made himself available to assist with explanations or give his professional opinion. In the end I received an outcome that I feel was in the best interest of myself and my daughter. Even after things have been finalized, he has reached out to provide pertinent information that he feels may be helpful for me to know. I am beyond grateful I got to work with attorney Seufert during such a difficult time and could not recommend him more. He truly cares about his clients and will do whatever necessary to get his client the best outcome possible.

Geoff was so helpful when I was approaching a potentially difficult divorce. He is extremely professional, well versed in all things 'family law', and is well respected in the field. He made me feel like I had his undivided attention. He also didn't let the divorce drag on for years. He got the job done respectfully and in a timely manner. I'm 3 years post divorce and still call on Geoff with occasional questions, and he's always more than happy to lend a word of advice. I would highly recommend Geoff for any family law needs.

Attorney Kaiser helped me navigate my divorce with patience, compssion, professionalism, and excellent competency. He was accessible throughout the entire process, even working with my (now) ex-husband, and took extra time to make sure I understood what was happening as things played out. Working with him was the best decision for me, and I would recommend him to anyone going through a similar situation.

I wouldn’t recommend neither of these attorneys. Mr French and Mr Betker are both liars. They will tell you what you want to hear just to get your money. I was promised reimbursement of attorney fees which was more than the amount that I was suing Midas muffler for. Unfortunately, now they refuse to accept responsibility for their fraudulent actions. I trusted these attorneys and now I regret that I gave them my trust. Because now they are denying that they promised me attorney fee reimbursement because they didn’t put their lie in writing. They don’t deserve any rating because they are liars. So don’t trust them, and make sure that they put all of their promises in writing before you give them your money. I never imagined that attorneys would lie to the consumer just to get their money. Beware of these fraudsters.

From day 1of my wife's WC I knew that the people who recommended Mr. French were being modest. His straight forward style is so reassuring and all you have to do is sit back and watch a very knowledgeable attorney slowly and meticulously put the pieces together and get the best result. WC carriers respect him. DO NOT HESITATE TO CALL!

Chris represented me in a personal injury claim after a vehicle accident. In the days after the accident the insurance company offered to just pay for expenses and settle. After talking to a few different lawyers I had a comfort level with Chris and felt like he was going to be the right person to fight for me. I was not let down by him in any way. Attorney MacGillis surpassed my expectations and stood up to the insurance company making them add a few zeros to the original settlement amount. Chris is a good, honest, straight shooter! I trust him and would hire him again without hesitation!

She seems to be working for the other side and collecting the money from me for doing nothing for me, but for my ex. Communication is terrible....she has difficulty keeping dates & times strait....with no respect for my work schedule....shows up late to hearings and seems confused/lost on what to do in court. Documentation that would have supported me in court was ignored by her. So, if your ok with your divorce dragging on for years at her expensive rate~hire her! It was more stressful having her as my attorney and keeping up with her demands with no results!

Mine was a grandparent's visitation rights case - not typically granted in Wisconsin unless there is a death involved. My case didn't fit "typical" fashion. Attorney Poletti (Mary) did a fantastic job for me. As an attorney, she's well educated, well informed and she knows the correct interpretation of the laws - and because she had informed me of what I needed to show to the court, I was granted temporary grandparent's visitation rights. Mary is also very understanding, fair, honest and up front with the facts. I knew when I began the process that it was probably not going to be a win/win situation for me - however, I gained an extra year with my granddaughter and I learned a couple of priceless lessons. If you are seeking the best attorney in Wisconsin's Family Court - you can stop now - you've found her!

Jolene was recommended by a friend, and when I met with her she made me feel at ease and explained how the process works. I'm now 2.5 years separated from the anxiety, frustration, anger, and confusion of a rough divorce situation that lasted over a year and a half. I would like to thank Attorney Missimer for his legal work and hours put in to eventually finalize my screwy case but more so for his genuine concern for my mental and emotional well being during the process and for protecting my future interests. I highly recommend Attorney Missimer if you are going through any divorce situation that has gotten "ugly". Any person's divorce is one of the worst times of their life! I called approximately 10 divorce lawyers, many of them simply blowing me off or quoting me a ridiculous "flat rate" that I absolutely could NOT afford. In my mind, my divorce was simple! No property to divide or minor children to deal with. We divided all our property ourselves and had no accounts to split. I simply needed someone to lead me through the paper filing process at a price I could afford. One lawyer had the nerve to say to me, "Lady, no divorce is simple. As soon as you get to court, your husband will change his mind and want it all. That is why I charge a higher rate......to prepare for the future fight you will have". SERIOUSLY? FINALLY, I talked to Attorney Richard Missimer. He was sympathetic and treated me with respect. He never belittled me. I explained my needs and he told me "exactly" what the process would be and what time spans we were looking at. He NEVER made me feel incompetent and repeatedly told me to ask him any questions I had, no matter how silly they might seem to me. I finally found my savior! He took that heavy load off of me and proceeded to lead me down the process without any fears. When he said he would send an email, the email was there, listing what paperwork was needed on my end to start the proceeding. When he said he would call, he called. When he said we would meet, we met when signatures were needed and the whole process became cut-and-dry! When the process was complete, there were absolutely no "hidden" charges. He charged me exactly what he quoted me! I would recommend him to anyone looking for an honest lawyer that truly cares for their needs!

I sat down and met with her prior to hiring her. She listened and took notes and made a promise that I had a solid, easy case. Initially she came across and empathetic and trustful, which shortly changed. My ex-husband almost emptied out a very large settlement I was awarded due to an accident. I paid the retainer fee and after that, she completely Changed. First, I no longer felt like she was representing me. My ex had a more experienced lawyer, and everything she told me we could do and she presented to the opposing lawyer, she would come back and say the lawyer would decline and present something else and Teri would always say she couldn't do better and we should accept. I always left feeling alone and defeated and in tears. She charged me for every little email, voicemail, discussion, her having to talk with the other attorney or any other discussions, etc. My bill came to roughly $20,000!!! My ex only got billed around $6,000! PLEASE, be careful. I wish I would've paid to break the retainer fee and hired a more experienced and dedicated attorney. Probably the biggest regret I have made.

Lisa Stengel was the best decision we could have made when choosing a local attorney to help us navigate through a very complicated and emotional family court situation. She was very helpful throughout the entire process, listening, asking us questions, and advocating for us. She listened to our history, issues, and concerns with attentiveness and interest. She helped us to understand what to expect during every stage of the process as it evolved and unfolded. She always answered our questions between meetings with prompt and helpful responses. Whether in her office or the court room, she was always professionally dressed and mannered, punctual, and well prepared. She guided us with compassion and respect and reminded us that no matter how tough the process got (which it did at times challenge our emotional strength and endurance), to never lose sight of why we were there. Lisa is a mother herself and therefore, possesses that ingrained understanding of parental relationships and family dynamics, but she also brings forth a wisdom that I assume can only come from many years of dedicated work experience. Lawyers are regular people too, and therefore, there exists all kinds. There are certainly stereotypical "sharky", "dirty" lawyers that exist in the field, but it is not true that you need on of those to win your case. Sometimes you just need a wise, educated, assertive, and articulate person to advocate for you and help you fight for family justice. I would highly recommend anyone looking to hire a dependable, professional, respectable, experienced lawyer, to call Lisa Stengel.

As the title suggests my kids are home. When I first met Lisa I had made a terrible mistake and had signed a temporary custody agreement and let my ex take our kids out of the house and county already. This put me in a very bad position once I realized that things were not going to go as well as I had hoped. Lisa was recommended by our family attorney and others to whom I had enquired. Lisa helped my family and I through a two year long heavily contested divorce and custody battle. During the last two years I had been investigated numerous times by Social Services and had false allegations made agenced me to the police not only by my ex but also my kids. Parental alienation was a huge Factor in my case and was very hard to prove to the guardian ad litem however by the end everything was made clear to the guardian ad litem and the judge. Fighting a custody battle as a father is already a uphill battle and I truly believe I would not have my kids home today if it were not for her. During the three days in court I got to see the differences between a skilled and knowledgeable attorney and one that was not so much. Lisa was very organized and cross-examinations were very well thought out. She will continue to be my go-to person for any issues regarding family law.

I had a case come up early this year where my wife decided to move from our home in here in WV up to Wisconsin, and then began divorce proceedings against me up there. Very stressful 6 months for me, but once I connected with Rebecca she helped me manage the whole process, kept me well informed, and kept my stress level to a minimum. I have worked with quite a few attorneys over the years, and I am not exaggerating when I say that in terms of work ethic, responsiveness, and attitude, Rebecca is absolutely the best of all of them! She almost makes me want to move to Wisconsin, just in case I have more legal issues that require an attorney. Well... emphasis on "almost". :) In all seriousness, I have never, ever seen an attorney that quick to respond to emails, voicemails, questions, etc... she really made me feel like my case was a priority to her, and her counsel was worth every dollar I paid. I wouldn't even think twice to hire her again... done deal. I recommend Rebecca 150% to anyone needing legal help.

I needed to move out of state for work and hired Rebecca following a consultation with her where she assured me we had a very good case for custody modification. The timeline was short, so Rebecca had us do most of the legwork gathering third party professional testimony on behalf of our children. During the initial hearing, Rebecca recommended a GAL appointment so the judge could “rubber stamp” that recommendation. Besides offending the judge, you better pray you’re appointed a reasonable GAL. I was unprepared for the meeting with the GAL, as I had been unable to get in touch with Rebecca ad decisions were being made. As the trial approached, she went on vacation. I was called to the stand stand and cross examined by my ex husbands attorney (who was ok re litigating my divorce) without a single objection by Rebecca. Meanwhile, CPS records were ruled heresy, and witnesses to abuse were discounted again without objection from Rebecca. I lost my case and when the Bill came for a single day in court Rebecca was surprised as she stated she had assumed my parents were paying the Bill. Please do not fall for the slick sales job. She cost my children a year of unnecessary abuse.

This is probably my first review I have ever left on a website because it is warranted. I was recommended Renee E. Mura S.C. Attorneys At Law by a friend who had a lawyer from the firm represent his ex against him and Jacqueline Hallac took my case. I will admit that I was hesitant at first because of court biases and Jacqueline blew my expectations out of the water. Not only was she professional but she was also personal, patient, respectful, and kind. She definitely went the extra mile when it came to my best interests and she was informative along the way. I would recommend anyone to this law firm and especially Jacqueline Hallac!! Thank you!!

Extremely disappointed with my experience with this firm. I had Atty Jacqueline Hallac who failed to prep me for a De Novo hearing where I had absolutely NO IDEA that I was going to be put on the stand and cross examined or was to bring any evidence. Having your divorce lawyer scrambling at the table during a hearing for custody and placement is in no way comforting. We were at the point where she was trying to use screen shots on my phone as evidence since she wasn't prepared and lo and behold, that evidence is inadmissible since there were no copies to submit. After the fact when asked "why" we did not prep for this hearing, the response was, "Not all judges hold an evidentiary support hearing for De Novo." So instead of preparing anything or even mentioning that I would be put on the stand or would be asked to produce evidence, we did nothing at all. The hearing did not go well, I no longer trusted her competency to take me to trial for custody and replaced her with another attorney ASAP.

The first hearing was handled by an attorney in their office he had never even spoken to before, the guy showed up minutes before the hearing unprepared causing the need for another hearing. He then showed up at this hearing with all of the documentation needed to fix his original blunder, which by the way my brother paid for by needing to have another hearing which they charged him for. He proceeded thru this hearing and totally forgot to speak on one of the reasons he was there and the judge made her judgement leaving an order in place that should’ve never been. So another hearing was needed which again they charged him for. Time after time throughout the divorce they have dropped the ball, too many to list in this review. Long story shorter he ended up paying them over $30k and had a balance of $4k with an agreement he was paying. They decided to drop him as a client with less than a month to go before the final trial leaving him without an attorney knowing it would cost no less than $10k to get another. I’ve never been around a bigger group of blood sucking vultures in my life.

I hired attorney Kathleen Hessel to help me with a contempt hearing. From the start, Ms. Hessel was not looking out for my best interests. She did not offer concrete steps I could take. I had to require her to take my offers to the other side. I was able to do that myself. It was a complete waste of money for me to hire this law firm.

Jesse of Muter law firm is BAD. For anyone with an important case, do yourself a favor and do not use him. The man has no idea what is going on. I can't believe he passed the Bar Exam. He has zero communication skills. From our first meeting with him for our guardianship case, he was unorganized, clueless to the law, he insisted we had met with him before our first meeting even after we told him we had not. Jesse failed to inform us of the paperwork necessary for our case and legal gaurdianship. If not for the GAL, our case would likely still be incomplete as she provided us with this info. Our first court day was postponed due to his negligence, and he never even bothered to inform us it was canceled. Jesse neglected to schedule a GAL meeting, which is necessary in gaurdianship cases, further proving his incompetance. We even had to call the Muter office and ask if he was showing up to the first court date, it was only then we were Informed it was canceled and then we were lied to as to the reason. We were told it was the DA, when we later found out it was him not scheduling the GAL meeting. Wife and I were frankly surprised when he showed up to our rescheduled court date. In the whole of the process we never once received a call, email or correspondance from Jesse. Sadly we had no choice to go with this law firm (Jesse) as all other lawfirms in the area had a conflict of interest. Otherwise we would have fired him very early into this process. He is HORRIBLE!!

Shawn supported and represented my ex husband during our divorce and my restraining order. She continuously harassed my friends and family during proceedings. Horrible ethics. Should be disbarred for her behaviors in and out of court.

I hired Jean to modify an existing out of state parenting plan. I informed her that several years ago a different attorney said it was impossible to modify until jurisdiction was changed. Jean assured me that modifications could be made from Wisconsin. Our hearing was scheduled via Zoom-The morning of court, i arrived at her office and she was not there. After contacting her on the phone she informed me she was out of the area and unable to get back to her office before the scheduled time and she thought we were going to attend from separate locations. The only arrangement we had ever made was to meet at her office for the hearing. Thankfully i live only 20 miles from her office and was able to speed home with about 2 minutes to spare. I frantically signed into the zoom hearing, and we were all waiting for Jean to trouble shoot her phone/computer to connect to the hearing. The judge was frustrated and irritated- making it very clear that this should have never been filed with the court as Wisconsin has no jurisdiction in the case. Not only was the motion thrown out, i was ordered to pay my ex-husbands portion of attorney fees. Filing this motion upset him ( i made it very clear to jean that he is extremely difficult/abusive/uncooperative with everything) He has now filed several motions against me. He is now fighting for custody of our children, suing me for expenses he claims i owe him and seeking to modify the parenting plan to have more control over our kids and myself. It is nearly impossible to find an attorney in North Dakota so i am scrambling to find representation. After paying a $1500 retainer for Jean (and whatever the remaining balance is that i have yet seen an invoice) $1800 in attorney fees of my ex. I retained an attorney today charging $395/hr and a $10,000 retainer fee with the expectation that this new case will be lengthy and very expensive. All i wanted was minor changes made to my parenting plan, so my ex-husband stops threatening me and charging me thousands of dollars for every visitation. If i had been told there was a chance the court might not grant my request, i NEVER would have filed anything because i know my ex-husband will make me pay for it. Not only was my motion denied, but there was never any case because of jurisdiction. As a result of Jeans improper advice and lack of knowledge regarding out of state modifications, i have upset my ex and he will "make me pay for it." I will be paying an unbelievable amount of money and expecting a long custody battle to keep my kids. After my initial consultation with Jean i was so relieved to hear that our high conflict and stressful relationship would end- she made me believe it would be so simple. My future looks completely different now knowing i will spend more money than i can afford and spend possibly years dealing with the legal system.

Jean helped me with some post divorce work. She helped me collect the reduced maintenance payments a previous lawyer had bullied me into accepting. She knew exactly what needed to be done to collect the debt from my uncooperative ex. I do not have a law degree so I am grateful Jean was there to clarify and educate me and fight for my rights.

This lawyer did not pay attention to my concerns. He was more worried about the judges anger and being mad at him. Donavan did not take the time to pay attention . He asked for more support which I never requested. I did the leg work for my case. This lawyer charged $1,000 retainer and spent about two hours on nothing. He said he was holding the rest of the $1,000 in case we had to file a defamation case. Didn't want to " poke the bear". I never did see the remainder of my money and my ex is now dead.

I recently consulted with Dominic Anderson and he went through a step-by-step process of proceeding forward with a case that was addressed within our Court system. He garners a wealth of legal strategies and did not hesitate on making sure I understood the opportunities that can be addressed to proceed with follow through on a case for funds owed to me. I recommend this business for the legal assistance you are searching for.

What a Child Support Lawyer Can Do for You

A child support lawyer specializes in legal issues related to the financial support that one parent provides to another for the upbringing of their children. These lawyers assist with establishing, enforcing, and modifying child support orders, ensuring that the financial needs of the child are met, including housing, food, healthcare, education, and other essentials. A child support lawyer can also represent parents in disputes over the amount of support, ensure fair calculations based on income, and handle legal proceedings if one parent fails to meet their obligations.

Whether you're seeking to establish child support, modify an existing order, or enforce payments, a child support lawyer can help you navigate the legal system and protect your rights and the well-being of your child.

When Should I Hire a Child Support Lawyer?

You should consider hiring a child support lawyer when you need assistance with any of the following child support matters:

  • Establishing child support: If you are going through a divorce or separation and need to establish a child support order, a lawyer can help ensure that the support amount is fair and accurately calculated.
  • Modifying child support orders: If there has been a significant change in circumstances, such as a job loss, income change, or a child's financial needs, a lawyer can help you request a modification to the existing child support order.
  • Enforcing child support payments: If the other parent has failed to make court-ordered child support payments, a lawyer can help enforce the order through legal means such as wage garnishment, property liens, or even legal action.
  • Disputing child support calculations: If you believe the child support amount has been incorrectly calculated based on your income or expenses, a lawyer can help you challenge the calculation and seek a fair adjustment.
  • Paternity disputes: If paternity needs to be established before child support can be ordered, a lawyer can assist with DNA testing and legal proceedings.
  • Interstate child support cases: If the parents live in different states, navigating child support laws can be complex. A lawyer can help ensure the proper jurisdiction is established and that child support is enforced across state lines.
  • Child support during custody disputes: If child custody and child support are being determined simultaneously, a lawyer can help ensure that both issues are resolved fairly and in the best interest of the child.

Hiring a lawyer early can help ensure that your child support case is handled effectively and that your child's financial needs are met.

What Does a Child Support Lawyer Do?

A child support lawyer provides a variety of legal services to help parents secure, modify, and enforce child support arrangements. Their responsibilities often include:

  • Filing for child support: A lawyer can help you initiate the legal process to obtain a child support order, ensuring that all necessary documentation is submitted and deadlines are met.
  • Calculating child support: A lawyer can help ensure that child support is calculated fairly based on both parents' incomes, the needs of the child, and other factors such as healthcare and education costs.
  • Negotiating child support agreements: If both parents are willing to negotiate, a lawyer can help facilitate an agreement on child support outside of court, which can then be approved by a judge.
  • Representing you in court: If negotiations fail or the other parent contests the child support amount, a lawyer will represent you in family court, presenting evidence and making legal arguments to support your case.
  • Modifying support orders: A lawyer can help you file a request for modification if circumstances change, such as a loss of income or an increase in the child’s financial needs.
  • Enforcing child support: If the other parent is not making court-ordered payments, a lawyer can take legal steps to enforce the order through wage garnishment, property liens, or other measures.
  • Handling complex cases: In cases involving high incomes, self-employment, or complicated financial situations, a lawyer can help ensure that all relevant factors are considered in determining child support.

How Are Child Support Lawyers Paid?

Child support lawyers typically charge for their services based on the complexity of the case and the type of legal work required. Common payment methods include:

  • Hourly rate: Most child support lawyers charge by the hour, with rates ranging from $150 to $500 or more, depending on the lawyer’s experience and location. The total cost will depend on how much time the lawyer spends on your case, including preparation, negotiations, and court appearances.
  • Flat fee: For more straightforward cases, such as uncontested child support agreements or basic modifications, some lawyers may offer a flat fee that covers all services related to the case.
  • Retainer: Many lawyers require a retainer, which is an upfront payment that is billed against as the lawyer works on your case. The amount of the retainer depends on the expected complexity of the case.
  • Sliding scale or pro bono services: Some lawyers offer sliding scale fees based on income or provide pro bono (free) services in cases where clients cannot afford to pay full legal fees, especially when children’s needs are at stake.

It’s important to discuss fees with your lawyer during the initial consultation to understand how much you will be charged and what services are covered.

How Much Does a Child Support Lawyer Cost?

The cost of hiring a child support lawyer varies depending on the complexity of the case, whether it's contested or uncontested, and the lawyer’s experience. General cost estimates include:

  • Uncontested child support cases: Legal fees may range from $1,500 to $5,000, depending on the complexity of the paperwork and the lawyer’s fees.
  • Contested child support cases: Legal fees can range from $5,000 to $20,000 or more, especially if the case involves significant court time.
  • Hourly rates: Lawyers typically charge between $150 and $500 per hour for child support cases, with higher rates for more experienced attorneys or cases that involve complex financial issues.
  • Modification or enforcement: Fees for modifying or enforcing a child support order may range from $2,000 to $10,000, depending on the complexity and the need for court intervention.

Always ask for a detailed cost estimate during your consultation so you can plan your budget accordingly.

Top Questions to Ask a Child Support Lawyer

Before hiring a child support lawyer, it’s important to ask questions to ensure they are the right fit for your case. Key questions to ask include:

  1. What experience do you have with child support cases?
Ensure the lawyer has experience handling cases similar to yours, whether it’s establishing, modifying, or enforcing child support orders.
  2. How do you charge for your services?
Clarify whether the lawyer charges by the hour, offers flat fees, or requires a retainer, and ask for a detailed estimate of the total cost.
  3. What is the likelihood of success in my case?
Ask the lawyer for an honest assessment of your case and any potential challenges you may face.
  4. How long will the process take?
Child support cases can take time, so ask the lawyer how long they expect the process to last and what factors may cause delays.
  5. Will you personally handle my case?
In larger firms, junior attorneys or paralegals may handle parts of the case. Make sure you know who will be managing your case and representing you in court.
  6. What documents should I prepare?
Ask the lawyer what financial documents and other information you should bring to help them calculate child support and build your case.

How to Check the Credibility of a Child Support Lawyer

To ensure you are hiring a reputable child support lawyer, take the following steps to verify their credentials and track record:

  • Verify their bar status: Check with your state bar association to confirm that the lawyer is licensed to practice and has no history of disciplinary actions.
  • Look for family law experience: Review the lawyer’s website or professional profile to ensure they specialize in family law and have successfully handled child support cases similar to yours.
  • Read client reviews and testimonials: Look for client reviews on platforms like Avvo, Martindale-Hubbell, or Google to see what previous clients have said about the lawyer’s professionalism and success rate.
  • Ask for references: A credible lawyer should be able to provide references from past clients who have worked with them on child support matters.
  • Check for certifications: Some lawyers may have certifications in family law or membership in organizations like the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers (AAML), which can indicate their expertise in child support and family law issues.

What Should I Prepare for My First Consultation?

To make the most out of your first consultation with a child support lawyer, it’s important to come prepared with relevant documents and information. Here’s what you should bring:

  • Income documents: Bring pay stubs, tax returns, W-2s, or any other documentation of your income and the other parent’s income, as this will be used to calculate child support.
  • Existing child support orders: If there are any existing child support or custody orders, bring copies for the lawyer to review.
  • Child-related expenses: Provide documentation of your child’s medical bills, education expenses, daycare costs, and any other expenses that should be factored into the child support calculation.
  • Communication with the other parent: Bring any communication between you and the other parent regarding child support, whether through emails, text messages, or written agreements.
  • List of questions: Prepare a list of questions about your case, the legal process, and the lawyer’s fees.

By preparing thoroughly for your consultation, you can help the lawyer assess your case more effectively and provide the best possible legal advice on how to proceed.
