I had a great experience with Barbara Cowen during a dark time in my life. Divorce for a man is a scary time, but Mrs Cowen made me feel very comfortable and confident throughout the process. Outstanding experience from start to finish!
I can not believe how well my Attorney Jack Bingham from Lynch Law Firm handled my case, from start to finish with his partner on the case Brian Held. They recovered 300% more than I expected or was told I would by other lawyers! Even after my case was settled they worked feverishly to negotiate my medical bills to get me more money even though that had no bearing on the amount the law firm received, only I benefited. Dini from accounting took the time to go over all of my bills with me and continued to negotiate even after I agreed to settle. I slipped on a floor in my building and was hesitant to even contact an attorney but a friend told me about them and said they were good. That's an understatement. I didn't even miss any work and I still recovered a very healthy amount actually three times more than I anticipated.
There was a paralegal assigned to my case his name was Aaron and between my attornies Jack and Brian and Aaron there was never a time I couldn't get in touch with someone. I had been in an accident in the past and the injury was worse and I didn't get the kind of service and results as I did with Lynch Law Firm. My divorce was not an easy one by any means. The other party did not want to be a participate in the process that she initiated, be fair financially, and was in character throughout the two and half yr process. Jason was recommended by a friend in the legal profession.
Jason started the process by trying to avoid getting heavily involved by advising me to mediate with my ex from minute one which is the smart fiscal way to go. Jason honestly explained that; however after that was not viable, he did everything professional needed to get the divorce process going by attempting to mediate with the other side. Jason also advised me with the steps needed after it was obvious the other side was not operating in good faith(7 months in I was forced to file for divorce after the person who unilaterally initiated it did not do it for financial reasons)
Jason was great at organizing the large amounts of paperwork needed to negotiate/mediate fairly; which included preparing me for ESP/Mediation and the multiple motions filed by the other party. Jason's biggest attribute is being available at all times, attempting to understand everything on a personal/emotional level as well beyond the business aspect of divorce, and always trying to end the process quickly to help with financial costs/burden.
Unfortunately, this was not able to be done in my case after numerous and fair offers so Jason was noble enough to refer my case to a colleague in the county of NJ where the divorce was occuring. That was extremely genuine.
He and his associate Tyler did everything they could to settle my case. Both are extremely knowledgeable of the NJ laws of divorce which is so important. Jason is professional and great at explaining things/answering questions.
In divorce, no one wins or loses. My JOD was fair and equitable at the end of the day which is what should have happened.

I was fighting to see my son more and had to wait 7 months to get to court bec of him. He Charged me 5000 to do nothing then wanted another 5000 to goto court. He was a horrible horrible laywer. My case was so easy I ended up not going to court with a laywer and i got 50 50 custody and got more then I asked for by myself. Don't waste your money on this guy.

After paying $5000 he made my child support turn from $20 to $800, sent me an email telling me he was trying to contact me for more than a month when clearly the email was working fine and in zoom court he doesn’t know how to present himself professionally. One instance where he was representing me against my ex-wife, the camera was pointed only at his mouth from the nose down. Another instance, he had a picture of Scarface with a machine gun in the background in his office during court. Shop around.

My father paid this lawyer $50k for my brother. He went to trial and was found guilty on some accounts and not guilty on others but he said he would do his appeal for free. The appeal was filled and he missed the court date so they threw my brother appeal out! No update on anything from this con artist but broken promises as if he didn’t get paid. Why offer to do something and you’re not going to do it . Seems to me he stalling for time. Anyways don’t trust this man. I pray he still not in practice.

My father paid this lawyer $50k for my brother. He went to trial and was found guilty on some accounts and not guilty on others but he said he would do his appeal for free. The appeal was filled and he missed the court date so they threw my brother appeal out! No update on anything from this con artist but broken promises as if he didn’t get paid. Why offer to do something and you’re not going to do it . Seems to me he stalling for time. Anyways don’t trust this man. I pray he still not in practice.
