Gets to court late if he even shows up at all. Doesn't answer calls most of the time. Disappointed my sister who was counting on him.

Honestly, there are no words to describe how I feel. I consulted a few lawyers before coming to Barry Law, but once he took my case, he made everything clear to me. Very unprofessional law firm. I had the misfortune to work with Mr. Uri Frenkel, who kept asking for the same files over and over for weeks without even checking to see that he already had them. In the end, he blamed David Frenkel for taking my file to Florida and lost it. It's just a waste of time and money to go for their services.

"I do not recommend this firm. They are unresponsive and only seem interested in contacting you when it’s about money. They failed to resolve my case and left me feeling like my pockets were emptied for nothing. Communication is terrible—they don’t answer calls, but will text when they want payment. I hired Mr. Diederich to help deal with an appeal process for a denied medical waiver to get into military service. Given Mr. Diederich's previous experience in military law, he knew the best way to approach the appeal process. Through Mr. Diederich's expertise and professionalism, we were able to get the medical denial reversed. I am currently enrolled in an ROTC program and on the path to military service. I am almost certain that this decision would not have been reversed had we not sought out Mr. Diederich's help. I'd also mention that he was more than happy to speak about the details of my case outside regular business hours, and always promptly responded to any questions I had with logical and straightforward advice. I would highly recommend Mr. Diederich's services.

We were looking for a lawyer that specialized in working with LGBTQ clients and learned about Ms. Thomas on the National Center for Transgender Equality website. Ms. Thomas was the only attorney listed in Upstate NY that specialized in representing clients with the legal process for name and gender change. We were fortunate that Ms. Thomas was in the Capital District. She was prompt with email and phone correspondence and the judge received the paperwork and signed the documents quickly. We would highly recommend working with Ms. Thomas for name and gender change legal representation.

This was our first time hiring a lawyer, so we had lots of questions, all of which Michelle was very patient and kind enough to address each and every one. I was in need of a litigation attorney after receiving a complaint filed by a former employer. I was extremely concerned about the situation due to the truth being distorted in a way that could have caused serious legal repercussions. Ms Aulivola was referred to me by a coworker and after speaking to her the first time she stood out from the other lawyers I had spoken to. Her fees were very reasonable and she was extremely attentive to my matter. Ms Aulivola always made himself available to me by phone within a few hours if I had questions and her staff was very professional. I found her to be a very honest and tenacious person that you want on your side. However, if you do, as we did, this is THE only firm to consider on LI. From partners, Rob and Sarah, to junior attorneys, associates and support staff, their services are simply unmatched.
And wowza! There’s even a real human, extremely competent, receptionist that answers the telephone. No push this and speak that and try to muddle thru some silly automated phone system; a consistent personal, caring approach to business at every level.
Rob Valli is thorough, on point and straight forward, mixed with kindness and compassion. Don’t mistake his kindness for weakness, tho! He can be a “bulldog”, if necessary and definitely precisely when needed. make no mistake, he knows his business and gets the job done.
There’s no “sugar coating“ and telling you what you want to hear, refreshing! He, and his associates at every level, provide everything you need and want on your side. Strong communication skills are a must for me and they deliver information clearly and concisely. Always, in a professional and succinct comprehensive manner. They know lay of land on LI and have the skill set to get job done.
Recently, I was asked how I know Rob when referring him, again. I paused... just for a moment and said “...Rob is my friend!”. I suddenly realized I do consider him my friend. I trust him implicitly, he’s kind, thoughtful and adds a true human element. It’s exactly what we all want and need when we unfortunately find we need an attorney. Sean O Hara has no business in law, came off nice, seemingly, except he contradicted himself several times. Claiming he never heard from the company, but knew where they sent my w-2…Did nothing for nine months and when I gave him crucial information he tried to get money, completely unaware that I had another attorney related to this case. His terrible work caused me to go through their employees and that’s a no for me dog, all white men. Fired and replaced. Don’t waste your time, not my first rodeo, but apparently his. Mind you the case was easy, pictures, text messages and he blew it, lazy, lazy, lazy. Easily the most important client you’ll ever have too.
