I’m very grateful to Mr. Scott and his firm. We never felt like ‘clients.’ He viewed us as individuals of incalculable worth. He understood that we put the most difficult situation of our lives in his hands and he wasn’t going to let us down. It was obvious that Mr. Scott valued the truth and justice of our situation over his own ego. He is the farthest thing from the stereotypical attorney. Every attorney and paralegal in his office was equally qualified and motivated. Their work gave us peace of mind and confidence throughout the mediation and trial processes. They were extremely attentive to detail, and able to uncover significant details that we had not noticed despite being more intimately aware of the situation. They sifted through enormous amounts of data and properly distinguished the most important elements of the case from those of lesser importance. The storyline of our situation was patiently woven together over the course of the trial and the jury was not lacking any important elements. He was never too busy to answer a call, email or text. He was factual rather than emotional. Our trial ended more quickly and favorably than we anticipated as a result of Mr. Scott’s professional and human excellence.

Patrick and Samantha did a fantastic job of prioritizing and getting the best possible outcome for what became a long and arduous case mainly due to COVID. I consulted with Patrick in September of 2019 and he walked me through what my options were and how things would look like to get my matter handled.
While navigating the court and DMV systems, the pandemic hit and everything became a waiting game. Fast forward to 2022, wanting to get the matter settled and a very determined district attorney, we ended up in trial and Patrick and Samantha showed up prepared and optimistic, guiding me through everything.
In the end, we received the outcome we were hoping for.
Throughout the almost three years of us working on this case, they made sure to keep me in the loop the entire time.
Any other attorney could have easily racked up a mountain of fees for the extended duration of this ordeal, however Patrick was honest and open throughout his legal obligation to me.

Simply put - I owe Patrick so much I can't make a Google review that really covers it. I went in for a simple issue that should have just gone away, but he treated it very seriously. He had to fight uphill with the City Attorney and fought for me to get what justice required. He advocated for me at every turn and walked me through the problems we were dealing with.

I found myself in a horrible situation that required the best lawyer possible. My lead lawyer, Logan Noblin, was just that. From my first contact with the firm to the very end, Logan and the firm were there for me 100%. Better yet, this firm's team of lawyers are involved with all cases to collectively work on getting the best result.
Communication during my 2 year case was outstanding. They make great use of there client portal. Also, this made providing and receiving documents to the firm very easy.

My wife and I have been working with her oldest brother (85 yrs old) to help him with a Will and a Living Trust. For the past 3 years we have traveled from our home in Durand Mi. to San Diego to provide him with advice and provide any help he may need to get everything right. The more we worked the more complicated and confusing this procedure became, OMG were we Stumped. This year we decided we needed professional help. So, what do you do when your 2000 miles away and don't really know anybody in a big city like San Diego, GOOGLE IT! That's exactly what we did and came up with a bunch of names of attorneys that claim to be the best anywhere. We started making calls to see who we liked the best and would be able to take care of our issues. We left voice mails and asked to have someone contact us to set up a meeting. We encountered a few who were vague and after listening to what we needed really didn’t seem too interested. Then Jason, called us and we were so happy with his attitude and wiliness to complete the needed documents on a very short notice. Everyone in that firm seemed to want to help us get everything right, signed, and registered they even worked through the weekend. The team was amazing in helping us with our will and trust! They were incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, supportive and patient with us as we figure out the best path forward to suit some of our very particular needs. It’s obviously not a fun or easy topic to discuss and they were so understanding of that giving us options and suggestions that could be relevant to us. And allowing us the time we needed to sort things out amongst our family. Sometimes we wouldn’t be able to resolve things easily so we would be at a standstill for a while between me and my husband but they were great about checking in regularly without creating any additional pressure. We also had some personal and particular road blocks that we come up against and Ashley was wonderful in giving us options and guidance around that. Both she and Jason were so kind and personable and professional. We had talked to several places before coming here and I’m so glad we did!

While I never had the goal to hire a law firm to deal with an employment issue, will say that I feel fortunate to have ended up with Haeggquist & Eck. I called a few firms and the intake person here had the most in depth understanding of my case and quickly referred it to a lawyer for further review. I appreciate the fact that we are on the same page with this issue and work collaboratively. I am impressed by the quality of every person I have come in contact with. The communication is top notch - they have been able to quickly understand the nuances of my situation and translate it into the legal arena. Mark has been excellent representing me and my wife on our fire victim claim that ravaged our home and lives from the "Camp Fire" disaster. We actually had other lawyers, firms, before finding Mark who personally works our ongoing fire victims claim. We stayed with Mark, and his firm, because he cares and follows through, stays in touch, listens, gets things done with great results after others had done nothing in comparison. The great thing about Mark is how he always finds time, he as well as his delegating to his staff, to reply to our emails and calls when we seek feedback or advice on our claim. So many lawyers just cut off all communication and let your case solve itself, even doing so without care for larger social issues that impact their case. Compared to several good lawyers and firms we have dealt with throughout life we put Mark in the top 2 %, if not the very top lawyer, especially when considering the nature of our claim, how devastating our losses were, his understanding of that and how to legally represent us to keep our winning case moving forward. The fire victims still have some way to go till the whole matter is finalized, and that takes real endurance and dedication on the part of any attorney. So, we are thankful to have Mark there for us to see everything through to the best end possible. Men like Mark, and his firm, his partners and staff, see the larger social picture that others don't fully consider. In that sense Mark goes above and beyond the call. It's really kind of shocking how effective Mark is compared to the other firms and lawyers that either did not care, no longer bothered to stay in touch and stay on the job even when new disasters came along. Not too long ago, some of the businesses in my community had barriers in their facilities which excluded people, like myself, with disabilities (mobility impairments) from accessing goods and services.
After contacting, consulting, and hiring Mark, positive results soon followed: those shameful barriers of exclusion, which had existed for years, came tumbling down as they were removed by the business owners.
Thanks to the many ADA betterments, which were executed as a direct result of the settlements negotiated by Mark, I am able to live more independently and to participate more actively in my community. My family and I now have more location options where we can shop or get services in an accessible manner. I feel, thanks to Mark and his Team, that I, never again, have to put up with being excluded from everyday activities, such as shopping at a corner store, going to a neighborhood restaurant or movie with family and friends, or using the swimming pool at a hotel on our family vacation. In my community, the action taken by Mark and his Team has truly resulted in a reduction of discrimination against people with disabilities and has opened doors for full participation in all aspects of everyday life for me and my family.

Did you hear the one about the lawyer that you can actually like? I didn't think so. Well, probably because you have not heard of Mark Potter and his incredible team. Lots of lawyers claim to be fighting for you, but most all of them are just fighting to get some extra padding in their wallet. Mark, being an ADA lawyer is out to fight the good fight with his clients in making an ignorant and inaccessible world more aware and accessible. Sure, the Americans With Disabilities Act was written with the intention of making America accessible for all, but the follow through and observance of the stipulations have been slow, if not completely lacking. Yes, the Department of Justice has a wing set up to handle complaints about entities, but they are so overburdened and understaffed they fail miserably. I have tried going the “civil” and more conservative route of utilizing the Departments complaint process, but to no avail. I had even been told by a representative that I may want to contact a lawyer, because the way the law was set up, real change will only happen with legal action. This is where Mark and his team come in because they know the law backwards and forwards and keep up with all the new changes and precedent setting cases so that your case case receives the most thorough research to obtain the best result, for you and everyone else who needs to access the entity. Mark and his office are extremely responsive, and I almost always receive an immediate if not instant response to any of my inquiries. Because of his expert knowledge, every detail is pored over so your case gets the maximum and most thorough resolution. I am a local San Diego civil attorney and I strongly recommend Peter Mesich as your attorney to handle any criminal or civil matters. He has personally represented my family members and friends over the past year - each receiving either an early dismissal, not guilty result or a very favorable resolution. He is the lawyer's lawyer and the guy a lawyer like myself turns to when friends or family are in need of representation.
He works very hard on his cases and he "runs out the groundballs." In a recent case he handled for me just last month, he contacted the police, county witnesses, experts and all witnesses even before the first Court hearing. He was thus more prepared than the seasoned prosecutor at the very first hearing!

Peter was an absolute life saver to me. I had not dealt with DUI issues before, so when this all began, I knew I needed a good attorney. I originally liked the fact that Peter had been a prosecutor before working as a defense attorney. My case was a bit complicated, but after I got into the process, I did see that Peter made a great difference. When I was working out the consequences of my DUI, I saw that other people with the same BAC that I had were assigned to the nine-month program at OHS. In addition, the same people that were assigned to the 9-month OHS program were assigned 14 days of the Work Project Program - I would have lost a lot of income if I had been subjected to such lengthy programs ! I was given three months of OHS classes and only 4 days of the Work Projects Program. That is an amazing testament to Peter's skill !! Before my Arraignment, Peter indicated to me everything I needed to do to get a reduced sentence, and I did all of it. I didn't want to bug Peter too much while the case was in process, but I did waste some money on bail bonds because I hadn't contacted him... I could have been out on my own recognizance !!!! Peter will help you immensely; keep calling him about those minor details, he won't mind. He would prefer to do a great job for you. That is way his service is a great investment.

Peter was a guiding light for me during a very nerve wracking period. I received a misdemeanor and a potentially steep fine, and did not know where to turn. Peter came very highly recommended and was a real savior. He took total control of the case and made himself readily available at any time. He worked tirelessly to have the charges minimized to a much more acceptable fine with no other repercussions. Peter handled the whole case in the most professional and up front manner. There would be no one else that I can think of in the San Diego area that I would rather turn to than Peter. Thank You!!!

When a competing company plagiarized my company's website, I didn't know where to start. I was fortunate enough to find Frank and he went to work on my case right away. I have had more issues with my driving record then I would like. I have gone to court myself and had different people represent me in court. Scott was the best, I didn't have to do anything. He kept me informed at all times. I wish I would have known him in my earlier years. I would recommend him. I was issued a citation for over 85 , the officer also stated he had me on Radar. I did have my radar detector on so I know I was not clocked at the speed , but I have tried to fight it on my own before and lost. He as able to get the case dismissed, I kept my license, added no points, and never had to go to court. The process was drug out for over a year and a half due to courts backed up and he did not charge me any extra for the extra time spent since that part was out of my control.

David Zugman is an amazing lawyer. My previous lawyer I had for 9 months while i fought my case and kept telling me I was going to get a 10 year mandatory minimum. When my previous lawyer was dismissed due to a conflict of interest, David became my lawyer. From the beginning, I told him I would not sign of 10 years. He said give him a week.
