We hired Chuck after doing due diligence on a total of ten personal injury attorneys. Of the ten attorneys we contacted, Chuck excelled in several ways. Among other things, he was the only attorney willing and able to give us references. We talked to five of Chuck’s previous clients and all of them gave glowing comments about his integrity, demeanor and competency.
We fond Chuck to be a straight shooter and results oriented. His knowledge and experience was especially beneficial to our case. For us, he sealed the deal, minimized our stress and maximized the payout.
Best free tip came from our sister — if you are involved in a situation where law enforcement has been called, it is an excellent idea to request the police report, body cam footage and police photos as soon as possible. As a victim, you have a right to all of this information and it’s typically easy to make a request online.

Carlos won our case for us when we were pushed out of our home by our landlord in San Francisco. A rent controlled home that I resided in for over 10 years starting in 2004. He didn't give up on us in a battle of a very big SF real estate company versus an individual family and and in the end we came out on top. He is very professional and a very kind person. I had an amazing experience working with Jonah.
I had a small, but complex legal issue that resulted in a warrant being issued for time I had already served, and left the state for. Jonah was very communicative from the start, and was able to get me added to SF calendar quickly, so I flew in/out for court in the same day. I appreciate the opportunity to share my unfortunate experience with Dolan Law Firm. I also appreciate the time the case manager, Mercedes, took to briefly listen to my concerns. I didn't expect to receive services from Dolan Law Firm from the questions I was asked during the information (intake) gathering. I messaged them since their website was advertised on another website as a possible law firm for civil rights cases. I read their reviews and a lot of reviews seem to be accident (personal injury) cases. Possibly there's a quota that needs to be fulfilled or the documentation that was requested that I emailed to the case manager was reviewed and or searched possibly for a statement regarding a accident and or personal injury, I am uncertain. I would have preferred to have received an email message regarding the type of case(s) the law firm is/was currently interested in taking.I realize not every person and or potential clients can be 'pleased'. However, the few negative reviews listed for this law firm have concerning and possibly valid points that I think potential clients may (or may not) want to consider. I did not receive services from this company/law firm, so I would not recommend this company to a friend or colleague.

Our eviction case pushed Curt & his co-counsel team to their limits in every way, & they pulled through w/ flying colors. Our case, while practically over in our favor, instead of being a normally 1 month long UD, still lingers on after ~8 months not because of Curt, but because our opponent was ruled to be one of the most mean/obstructive Landlord attorneys out there, w/ over 20 years experience, & have an endless dirty playbook they launch against tenants which puts them at the top of the list of infamous, notorious Landlord attorneys- they are also a high volume Landlord side firm w/ HUGE resources & they do everything possible to bury & overwhelm their opponent, to run up costs & force missed response deadlines. For the first 4 mo, just to keep up w/ them, Curt had to dedicate his complete resources to our case (virtually shutting down his legal practice). Curt was able to get each of their mean legal tactic stricken down, & then, icing on the cake, got the judge to slap them w/ one of the largest (if not the largest) sanctions (penalties, like contempt of court) ever for their mean/obstructive behavior. Judges almost never give much sanctions, so Curt (& team) winning us that monster one was no small feat.
I was present at many of his most important court motion hearings in our case, and closely read through the endless court hearing and deposition transcripts, digesting his responses, counter arguments, & lines of questioning. I could go on endlessly about all the twists & turns that he had to overcome, but suffice it to say that given our case has pushed all the boundaries of UD law/process, he has demonstrated himself to me to be an extremely competent, legally knowledgeable, adept, tenacious, & caring lawyer (& person). He has great instincts w/ the SF civil Judges, depositions, and real-time litigation strategy. W/ Judges, he’s actually very respectful, takes allot of abuse, rides the line to stay on their good side and builds a solid history and rapport. In depos, he’s got amazing instincts.
His instincts to discover criminal/foul play in physical evidence were also very impressive. I was also amazed at how he can dig into and own all the endless facts of our extremely complex case. Most all other attorneys would just gloss it over, and ignore/miss key (even hidden) evidence.
He also great on client communications stuff, and is very open to client input & guidance when helpful, yet is always polite and frank when it is not. He is extremely respectful, and has almost zero ego/elitist trips of most lawyers. No games or angles… he’s a strait shooter!
He knows his court procedure pretty well, and is a tenacious fighter. When it comes to fighting the most notorious landlord firms, he only takes clients that are willing (and able) to go all the way to jury trial, and we wanted a firm that had effectively scrapped w/ them before, and could handle jury trial. I had interviewed literally dozens of top notch attorneys (most billing $300 - $450/hr, and many were obvious rip offs, looking to take as much $ as possible, and don’t care about results), and even the most experienced in SF UD cases (e.g., 15-20+ yrs exp) had only gone to jury trial once, and the rest had no jury trial experience, just doing some bench trials, which is no good for the bogus nuisance UD case maliciously slapped on us. He has close co-counsel associates who fill in gaps where his is practice not as strong. In our case, he teamed up w/ Marc Branco to shore up UD law practice. So, that combined w/ his jury trial experience (and their hunger to kick their butt), is what sold me on their ‘dynamic duo’ to go up against them. His criminal law experience was very pertinent to our very (fact driven) nuisance UD case, and he’s adept at picking apart (hostile) witnesses an triangulating to converge on favorable facts to the case.
So, in sum, I can vouch that Curt (& team) are very competent re UD legal practice, highly ethical, they get results.

Monique and her entire team were phenomenal. We were involved in a very complex international business. Things did not go the way we had hoped and everyone came out of the woodwork trying to get a piece of us. Monique and her firm were truly expert in boiling the multiple cases down to several key issues, consolidating some of the cases and then vigorously built a solid fact based defense. They worked tirelessly for 4 years until the case finally came to trial and then performed brilliantly during trial. Their knowledge of the facts was so deep that they were able to not only dissect the oppositions positions, but get their witnesses to change their positions on the stand because of the overwhelming evidence they were able to refer to at a moments notice. We won at trial overwhelmingly., so much so that we were subsequently awarded both expenses and virtually all of our attorney's fees (like seven figures worth of attorney's fees). Huge win! I hired Matt to represent me in a case involving a school and a fellow student's false accusations against me. Without going into too much detail about the case itself, I can say that Matt was an unexpected blessing. Not only did he immediately want to listen to my side and hear me out, he also realized from our first meeting that this entire situation had devastated me. He was available to talk 24/7, whenever I had a meltdown and needed him. He definitely didn't have to do that, but he seemed to genuinely care about not only my case but my own personal well being.

Khaldoun & Matthew represented us in a wrongful death case. They were exceptional attorney's. They were both very attentive to our needs and extremely sensitive to our case since it was involving the death of our son. They went above and beyond what we expected and got us the best outcome that was possible. They left no stone unturned in their investigation and gathering of evidence.
