I had entered a contract with a company to perform over $12,000 worth of work to waterproof my basement. After the expiration of my three (3) days rescission period, I learned that I had been misguided about the issue and that it was not necessary for this amount of work. I then contacted Mr. Sandner who was of great assistance. He was very professional and able to quickly settle the dispute to my satisfaction. Kate assisted me with handling very substantial employment tax liabilities. I owned a small LLC in Columbus, Ohio. Kate assisted me in understanding the nature and extent of my liabilities. She corresponded directly with the IRS Revenue Officer who was assigned to collect on these liabilities. She had a good working relationship with the IRS Revenue Officer and she seemed to be highly respected amongst the collection division personnel in Columbus. In addition to working with the local Revenue Officer, Kate also assisted me in submitting an Offer in Compromise for my personal tax liabilities (including the trust fund recovery penalties assessed from my business). With Kate’s help, I was able to substantially reduce the amount that I owed to the IRS. I was able to pay this over to the IRS and get the tax liens released. Kate was very professional, understanding, and prompt in handling my matter. PS. My liabilities were in excess of 100k and I netted out only paying 30k. AWESOME job Attorney Kate Dodson

I went to Mr. Taps for help straightening out poor estate planning by another lawyer. The estate was somewhat complex due to a late-life marriage and a husband who had recently had strokes and been diagnosed with dementia. For 3 1/2 years now, Mr. Taps has been consistently the best lawyer I have ever worked with. Some of the things I value: He is easily accessible and responsive. He has excellent ability to grasp complexity quickly and a phenomenal memory for newly introduced detail. He has allowed me to participate as much or as little as I want. He is willing to educate me (and my son) in addition to advising. I attribute the successful Medicaid appeals he has made on my husband's and my behalf to the depth and excellence of his understanding of the law. In addition, his recommendations are realistic but he still lets me know the range of my options so that I can participate in the decision-making process. He is at all times professional, calm, respectful, firm but not overbearing, and reliable. What is also very impressive is that he is persistent; I feel he not only cares about the outcome but is personally invested in it as if it were his own.
