Ezra helped us with a malpractice-type suit. In hearings as well as in our conversations, he never once said or suggested anything other than providing a completely honest report. Often in these cases things resolve to he said, she said, but Ezra was able to provide definitive evidence bolstering our case leading to the win. His MO is every situation was to uphold the truth regardless of whether or not it may have detracted from our case, which resulted in establishing our credibility and accuracy regarding the issue at hand. He also repeatedly gave us emotional support to continue forward with the trial even when we pushed to just be done with it all. Though there was obvious incentive for him, I knew that wasn't what was driving him to keep the case up. In 2019 I had a very tough immigration case and I hired another law firm and it didn’t go well, I spend more than 3k and finally my case got denied due to the lawyer’s irresponsible action. A few months later a friends of mine suggested to contact Amsale’s law firm. She was very kind, positive , thoughtful and a good listener. She listened the entire issue with the previous law firm, and what surprised me was her focus to resolve the problem instead of nailing down.
After a brief discussion and consultation, I hired her to represent me the same case which I got denied previously.

I had a phone conference scheduled, no one called me, so when I called the office, the voice message said their office was closed for “holiday” but it wasn’t a holiday. And if that was the case, then the receptionist should have never scheduled it for that day! I’ve called back many times, left messages, emailed many times and STILL, no one has contacted me. Couple months ago I got into an at fault accident; rear ended a car. There were no injuries and no major damages to the second car, but I got a speeding ticket, that could increase my insurance rates significantly. I have contacted Andrew and explained my situation; it was easy to talk with him, and got clear answers to all my questions. After consultation (it was free), Andrew took care of my ticket. In one month the ticket was dismissed, and I got confirmation letter in my mail. I was at a loss when I was served papers by a debt buyer claiming I had opened a credit account and wasn't paying on it. I felt extremely embarrassed and taken advantage of as this claim was severely affecting my credit. Finding Patrick was the best thing I could have done for myself. He took the time to listen to everything I said, asked questions without judgement, and created a case for me against this debt buyer that I was deathly afraid I didn't have a chance at winning. Not only did he get the case dismissed but I was awarded attorney's fees, something I really didn't believe we had a chance with and is what I believe to be quite rare. More important then the money, this fixed my credit score. I would absolutely work with Patrick again and solidly recommend him.

At the beginning my wife was pretty freaked out about being whacked with a six thousand-plus dollar bill in the event we had no defense, but conversely freaked out about what would happen if we elected to seek representation...we've never done that before and I think we both always thought that was something only rich people could do. It is very true what they say about bankruptcy.....SCARY...and nerve racking. One local attorney declined to help, quoting the "complexity" of my situation. Another attorney was asking for an unreasonable fee and was not very friendly. A quick internet search lead me to Erin's practice and was impressed right away. Erin has a very confident and reassuring demeanor and I was so very relieved to have found her. Her rate is also very reasonable. Erin and her staff David are extremely prompt and reliable. They are both very easy to contact and again, very prompt. Lastly, I cannot say enough about how caring and detailed both Erin and David were with my case. We had a potentially devastating issue but Erin was very instrumental with ensuring that the outcome was favorable and positive; the Trustee during the creditor's meeting did not even bring up the matter, she's that good. We are contemplating a move back to Washington state where we lived for many years. Without proper estate planning we would potentially be subject to the Washington estate tax. n our initial contacts with the firm, we clearly identified that we were residents in another state. We were instructed to provide our detailed financial picture as well as our current estate planning documents which we provided promptly and told that our information would be forwarded to the attorneys for evaluation. The following is the email response.
“Thank you for filling out and returning your Questionnaire.
I will forward your information to our attorneys for review. Once they have completed their review, I will be back in touch with you regarding a quote for services and the next steps for scheduling.”
Well over a month went by with no word back from STIB. I finally contacted them by email requesting a status update. Within minutes, I received the following reply.
“Thank you very much for contacting our firm. Unfortunately, we are not able to take on your case. Our firm does not advise out-of-state residents on tax issues. Our focus is estate planning and long term care planning.”
The STIB website clearly tax issues as part of estate planning. I also found no restrictions on attorneys in Washington state providing consultation to out-of-state residents considering residency in Washington.
Needless to say, I was astounded by what I consider to extremely poor communication and timely follow-up. If it is indeed not their policy to advise out-of-state residents on tax issues, I would have expected to have been informed of that policy up front thus saving us the time of compiling and sending detailed and confidential financial and estate planning information. In my opinion, this represents incompetent and totally unprofessional behavior.

I was recently involved in a very challenging legal matter that I was told was essentially unwinnable by several trusted confidants. I turned to the Osborn Machler firm based on their reputation with difficult and complex cases, and Austin Neff was assigned as the lead attorney in my case.
From the beginning, Mr. Neff and his colleagues concurred that my case was indeed an uphill battle. But Austin immediately began to outline a legal strategy he calculated would maximize our chances of success. What stood out initially to me was his ability to explain complex legal terms and processes in a way that I could easily understand, which helped alleviate much of my anxiety—which, I admit, was through the roof.
As someone with very little exposure to the legal system, much of the strategy Austin constructed seemed almost counterintuitive to me at first. But he was very patient in explaining the reasoning for his approach at every step of the way, as I peppered him with endless layman’s questions about the law. By the time we were ready for the hearing, I almost felt like I had a couple semesters of law school under my belt.
I realize that all attorneys have multiple cases they are working on at any given moment. And I realize that they simply cannot be as emotionally involved in each of their cases as their clients are, of course. But I’ll have to admit that my level of optimism went up a notch or two when Austin looked up from a response he was reading from opposing counsel and paused and stated, “I’m starting to take this personally.”
The hearing itself was the first time I had seen Austin Neff in action in the courtroom. For moral support, the founding partner of the firm, Sim Osborn, was also at the defense table—I felt like I had a whole team behind me. Austin’s presentation of our side of the case was impressive. His arguments were incredibly articulate, nuanced, well-crafted, incisive, and on point. It was a master class in legal exposition, and even to me as a layman it was clear that he had shifted the law and the facts to our side.
Thanks to Austin Neff's hard work and tenacity, we achieved a clear, convincing, and completely favorable outcome that day. I didn’t think it was possible--I remember thinking when the judge rendered her decision, “Wait, what? We won??” The result has had a profound impact on my life, and I cannot thank Austin and the Osborn Machler firm enough for their support and expertise.
I highly recommend Austin Neff to anyone in need of legal assistance. His knowledge, professionalism, personability, and cool under fire makes him an outstanding choice for anyone facing difficult legal challenges.

Robert is the best attorney I have ever worked with. From our first meeting, he explained everything to me in terms I could easily understand and was always very responsive when I had questions outside of our meeting. He answered the phone when I called and always got back to my e-mails. He got some negative items off my credit and got my credit scores from the 500 to over 800 I can actually qualify for a home loan now. Robert is amazing and has the knowledge and expertise necessary to help you.
He is fantastic at stopping debt collectors that are conducting intimidating and abusive tactics and performing illegal practices to collect consumer debt.
I was injured in 2014, as a result I suffered a financial hardship and couldn't pay my creditors, I had lost everything by 2017, surrendering the last item I couldn't pay and was basically homeless staying with freinds.
When I returned to work, working for financial recovery and to gain the basic necessities to survive I was defeated by an attorney of law representing a debt collector because I chose to go it alone without representation, that was in 2020.
In 2021, a year later I was served again by the exact same attorney representing another debt collector.
I could hardly believe what was going on and felt that the attorney was actively searching my name for debt and wouldn't stop until every penny I had would be theirs and i would be homeless. I had had enough, my only hope this time around would be representation.
I called Robert Mitchell's office for help, Robert called me back immediately as he knew that there was no time to waste.
He obtained information from me (plaintiff attorney, my credit report and state that debt originated) and a brief history of the debt, he then put my mind at ease and assured me he will be doing all he can to help me.
Within a few days Robert found many problems with the collection lawsuit against me and immediately launched an aggressive countersuit against the plaintiff which not only resulted in a dismissal of the case but a deletion of an erroneous account on my credit report with a substantial monetary settlement in my favor.
I was amazed at what Robert accomplished in a short amount of time, as I had only expected a reduction, a wash or dismissal of the case.

I was involved in a collision with an uninsured motorist in Fall 2023. At the advise of a friend, I contacted Andrew Cherin to assist me with the claim mediation with both my auto insurance and my health insurance. He was able to claim me the maximum payout from my auto insurance, and got my health insurance to waive any reimbursement out of the auto claim! While driving southbound on I-5 in Tacoma an underinsured motorist sideswiped a dump-truck causing it to spin around and go north in the southbound lanes and hitting us head-on. We were crushed between the spinning dump truck, the car that caused the accident and the car that rear-ended us. We hired Schroeter Goldmark & Bender to represent us.
The insurance carrier for the underinsured motorist paid us the limits under their policy. Our own insurance company basically made an offer of zero to cover life-altering and permanent injuries.
Our team at SGB of Adam Berger, Sergio Garcidueñas-Sease, Lindsay Halm and Alder Burgess took over for us. One of the most important things they did was to shield us from the stone-walling, delaying tactics of our own insurance company to whom we had paid premiums for more than 30 years. From the beginning they handled the case as if it would end up in litigation. You need attorneys like SGB that have your back and are not afraid to go to court if that is what it takes.
They had the added challenge of doing this during Covid. Thank goodness for Zoom conferences. We ultimately got a court date. Two months prior to our court date, we went to mediation, via Zoom. We didn't hold out much hope for mediation, but we were willing to make an attempt. What a surprise when the insurance company came to mediation finally willing to negotiate. After a full day of the mediator going back and forth between Zoom rooms, we came to a fair monetary settlement. We are convinced that the insurance company, even then, was only willing to negotiate because, Adam and the rest of his team were well prepared bulldogs willing to go to court if mediation failed. As they like to say, "This was not their first rodeo".
A car accident is horrible. You need the best attorneys you can find to protect your interests. Besides being professional and knowing the case inside and out, Adam and the rest of his team are compassionate and truly care about their clients. We strongly recommend them to anyone who needs their service. Without Adam and SGB our insurance company would have paid us nothing.

I got my new 2022 Lucid Air GT in October 2022. During the first four months of ownership, my Lucid was in the shop twice for about 64 days in total, and it still was not fully repaired. At this time, it had had about 30 repair jobs including replacement of the entire battery (large HV battery). Especially, general rattle and squeak noises were a major concern. I asked Lucid to take the car back, and they promised to do so through their repurchase program. However, nothing ever materialized even after several reminders of mine. So, I contacted Jordan in February 2023. I got a particularly good first impression, and he just asked me to send him all the paperwork I had on my Lucid. After a couple of days, he announced he would take my case. It was an extremely low maintenance situation. I think I spent less than two hours in total interacting with Jordan. He just took care of everything. He made Lucid Motor take back the car by means of a repurchase agreement! I returned the car in May 2023 to the Lucid Service Center (and with about five outstanding repair tickets). After all the battling interactions with Lucid Motors, Jordan was a seriously pleasant relief. And I could not have asked for a better outcome. I strongly recommend using him.

This review is LONG overdue, but it's important to let everyone know that Jordan is great at what he does.
I bought a literally brand new 2018 Honda Civic EX which started having multiple issues 3 months after purchase. The nightmare began with my trunk getting flooded with rain, and then my radiator was faulty which led to coolant leak which overheated my car and left me stranded, to rough idling and bucking while accelerating, to my car not accelerating or starting at all, to my check engine light coming on, to misfiring that occurred due to a faulty AC control unit, to a head gasket issue!! I got stranded so many times and spent so many hours waiting for towing.
Honda dealership kept saying my car should be fine after every repair and "it's under warranty." Honda wouldn't even give me a rental! I had to pay for rental even though none of this is my fault.
I couldn't trust in the reliability of the car anymore when all this was happening within 6 months of purchase. What's going to happen when my warranty is over??? I knew I had to do something about this so I contacted Seattle Lemon Law and Jordan promptly gave me a call the next day. He listened to my complaints and had me send over documents from all the repairs. He reviewed it and took over. He kept in touch with me. About 8 months or so go by and he said Honda has reached an agreement to take my car back and take over the entire loan starting from when the car first started having issues! It was such a huge burden off my shoulder to get rid of that lemon car. I am so glad Jordan helped me with this. Very professional and obviously knows what he's doing.
I highly recommend him if you suspect you've got a lemon. Don't let the dealership intimidate/bully you into thinking your car "is fine"!! At the very least, get a free consultation with Jordan! The lemon law and lemon law attorneys are there for a reason!
