We have been dealing with my husband's immigration case from back in 1992, for nearly 30 years and went through many different lawyers who just couldn't win the case. Rachel was so passionate and exactly understood our case and when we read her arguments she prepared for our case, we knew we could win the case. If I could leave 6 stars in this review, I would. Susan has represented me in a high conflict custody battle for several years. Susan was the second attorney I hired for my case; she was able to fix the mess made by my first attorney.
Susan has responded to repeated motions from my ex with efficiency and expertise.
Susan met me on the weekends and after hours to prep for the two trials brought forth by my ex and I came out of the trials with solid orders that have brought more stability to my situation to which I attribute to Susan's knowledge and experience. We essentially "won" both trials.
Susan is highly knowledgeable of the law and the judges which is an invaluable asset when going through the court system. Susan has also been available to touch base on issues as they arise after my last trial, responding quickly and always advising me honestly, telling me risks and benefits to pursuing motions, contempts, etc. Susan truly cares about her clients and their children. Susan's paralegal Ela is extremely efficient and is invaluable to Susan's team as well. Susan has guided me through this very difficult process and am very thankful to work with her. Called for representation. Told lawyer what I thought about investigator. Glickman is friends with her so didn’t want the case. Not sure about you, but I wouldn’t want an attorney that prioritizes their relationship with the opposing side over a client. This is especially true when the other side lied in writing. But go for it. Maybe him being friends with the person destroying your life is what you want. Not me. I want an attorney who will call it out.

Before hiring Sugarman, we did not read any of the stellar reviews offered by other satisfied clients. Nor did we 'shop around'. Maryanne Leblanc was a personal reference from another lawyer. Her service on our behalf was beyond reproach, expectation or, even, imagination. We were treated more than fairly (as if we had been generational family friends). I cannot recommend Sugarman and Sugarman enough. A few years ago I was involved in a car accident. I had never experienced anything like this situation, and Sugarman and Sugarman were amazing to work with. Marianne LeBlanc was extremely patient, thorough and helpful throughout this process. She was very comforting in a scary situation. Her and her paralegal Emily went above and beyond to fight for my case, never giving up or settling for less than I deserved. I got a call today from Neil sugarmen and I gotta say it was the most pathetic call I’ve ever had, probably the most cold hearted person I’ve ever talked to . If you are going through a malpractice case and are looking for a not only just a lawyer but a lawyer with a little more empathy and respect then this is not the place to go to . I got myself in some trouble and hired Mr Keegan. His knowledge of the law and how the court system works enabled him to get me out of what I concidered a bad place. Not only was he good at navigating the court system, but he took the time to explain everything to me and made made sure I was comfortable along the way. Unfortunately, Joseph Keegan did not live up to the reputation I have read about in my case. His lack of professionalism included being late for court appearances and not returning phone calls, emails or texts. Atty Keegan is very personable, but really was lacking in follow-through.

Every year Boston magazine publishes the results for top attorneys in Boston from different legal specialties, from business and criminal law to family and employment law. If there are top 100 attorneys; Edward Wayland would be voted as the top 10 WORST attorneys in Boston. I'm very grateful I had made the right decision to terminate him for ineffectiveness of his counsel. About few years ago, To today's day, I never regretted (terminating) firing Edward Wayland.
He almost ruined my life and my freedom. lack of communication, Failure to exercise diligence, ineffectiveness of his counsel, and Incompetence, Incompetence, and Incompetence. I'm in the process of filing a complaint against him to the Massachusetts Board of Bar Overseer; Attorney and Consumer Assistance Program (ACAP), I think he should get his license suspended or revoked. (everything I stated here is true except for the top 10 worst attorneys).

Definitely wouldn’t recommend. I had a slip and fall about 5 years ago… and just now got compensated, didn’t even get that much. In the time it took my injury suit closed out and settled, we went through an entire pandemic, I lost my father and my husband, I had a child, had a stroke, recovered from a stroke fully, was diagnosed with a heart condition and was no longer a minor. I still can’t believe how long it took. When I first called to start speaking with an attorney they said 12-18 months for payment and closure of the case. 5 YEARS later. Here we are. Wow. If you want a shark for an attorney who actually cares about you and your case, I don’t recommend Simon and Simon. Especially cause they took almost 2/3rds of my settlement money after I’ve been suffering for 5 years.
Today, I spoke to a gentleman from Simon and Simon after they had reviewed my review. We were able to have a conversation and spoke about the issues I had put above. He did tell me that he would speak to a few people about a communication issue and try to have that resolved in hopes this would help people in the future using Simon and Simon. As I appreciate the call and conversation about the issues I spoke of, I do not feel as if this review is wrong. I have chosen to keep this review up because even though I had a discussion with a representative, my issues still happened. And I do believe that other people should be made aware and have the opportunity to see how others were treated. I appreciate your time today, however I will not be removing this review. Thank you.

Definitely wouldn’t recommend. I had a slip and fall about 5 years ago… and just now got compensated, didn’t even get that much. In the time it took my injury suit closed out and settled, we went through an entire pandemic, I lost my father and my husband, I had a child, had a stroke, recovered from a stroke fully, was diagnosed with a heart condition and was no longer a minor. I still can’t believe how long it took. When I first called to start speaking with an attorney they said 12-18 months for payment and closure of the case. 5 YEARS later. Here we are. Wow. If you want a shark for an attorney who actually cares about you and your case, I don’t recommend Simon and Simon. Especially cause they took almost 2/3rds of my settlement money after I’ve been suffering for 5 years.
Today, I spoke to a gentleman from Simon and Simon after they had reviewed my review. We were able to have a conversation and spoke about the issues I had put above. He did tell me that he would speak to a few people about a communication issue and try to have that resolved in hopes this would help people in the future using Simon and Simon. As I appreciate the call and conversation about the issues I spoke of, I do not feel as if this review is wrong. I have chosen to keep this review up because even though I had a discussion with a representative, my issues still happened. And I do believe that other people should be made aware and have the opportunity to see how others were treated. I appreciate your time today, however I will not be removing this review. Thank you.
