Definitely wouldn’t recommend. I had a slip and fall about 5 years ago… and just now got compensated, didn’t even get that much. In the time it took my injury suit closed out and settled, we went through an entire pandemic, I lost my father and my husband, I had a child, had a stroke, recovered from a stroke fully, was diagnosed with a heart condition and was no longer a minor. I still can’t believe how long it took. When I first called to start speaking with an attorney they said 12-18 months for payment and closure of the case. 5 YEARS later. Here we are. Wow. If you want a shark for an attorney who actually cares about you and your case, I don’t recommend Simon and Simon. Especially cause they took almost 2/3rds of my settlement money after I’ve been suffering for 5 years.
Today, I spoke to a gentleman from Simon and Simon after they had reviewed my review. We were able to have a conversation and spoke about the issues I had put above. He did tell me that he would speak to a few people about a communication issue and try to have that resolved in hopes this would help people in the future using Simon and Simon. As I appreciate the call and conversation about the issues I spoke of, I do not feel as if this review is wrong. I have chosen to keep this review up because even though I had a discussion with a representative, my issues still happened. And I do believe that other people should be made aware and have the opportunity to see how others were treated. I appreciate your time today, however I will not be removing this review. Thank you.

I was directed to Attorney Gratzer’s office after a Motorcycle accident. He came to my house as I was unable to travel due to the incident. He walked me through the entire process and told me to focus on my injuries while he took care of the rest. As questions arose I reached out to his para legal Maria and or Tom directly. My experience with Thomas Gratzer was nothing less than exceptional. He took on my complex case despite the complexity of my case and I was treated with Maria or Tom 10 minutes after I had sent my email. I can honestly say that I would have never settled on my case without their practice and most importantly the truth. Benjamin Brooks worked with my family on an issue involving my daughter. He was extremely helpful from our initial phone conversation through representing my daughter at a college hearing. Mr. Brooks, at first, tried to help move a stalled process along in an expeditious manner through repeated contact with officials and with a minimal cost to us. When it became clear that more legal representation was necessary and with very little advance notice, Mr. Brooks agreed to represent my daughter at a formal hearing and provided us with a thorough overview and advance preparation. Due to the fact that my daughter has a disability, Mr. Brooks also worked with officials to make an exception that allowed my husband and me to participate at the hearing, greatly reducing my daughter’s stress level. There has been many mistakes with my cases which led to delays and remakes. They messed up my wife’s greencard application 5 times that I had to figure out the issues and correct it and submit it again(this costed us 9 months). One of the most annoying experience was when they messed up the DS-260 of my mother’s application which led her to not get visa after interview and delayed her 3 more months. It is best to stay away from them if you want avoid remakes and long delays.

I hired Veronica White for a very simple case dealing with domestic violence, where I had 209A's in place. Against my wishes, she refused to let me testify, and insisted on a bench trial. The results were disastrous because she did not want to spend the time. I had been victimized many times, and knew what I was doing, yet Veronica did not allow me my due process.

There's a lot of positive things I can say about Veronica White but I will keep it as short as possible. What I can say is that she is the absolute best lawyer I've ever met and she's a fierce fighter and believer in her clients and proven their innocence. Veronica has successfully vacated a case I had that was hanging over my head for 10 years that would have led to lengthy separation from my family and for that I'm eternally grateful. I still remember the day we met and she took over my case. She looked me in the eye and told me not to stress as she will move mountains to win my case and that's exactly what she did. Every year Boston magazine publishes the results for top attorneys in Boston from different legal specialties, from business and criminal law to family and employment law. If there are top 100 attorneys; Edward Wayland would be voted as the top 10 WORST attorneys in Boston. I'm very grateful I had made the right decision to terminate him for ineffectiveness of his counsel. About few years ago, To today's day, I never regretted (terminating) firing Edward Wayland.
He almost ruined my life and my freedom. lack of communication, Failure to exercise diligence, ineffectiveness of his counsel, and Incompetence, Incompetence, and Incompetence. I'm in the process of filing a complaint against him to the Massachusetts Board of Bar Overseer; Attorney and Consumer Assistance Program (ACAP), I think he should get his license suspended or revoked. (everything I stated here is true except for the top 10 worst attorneys).

I would like to share with everyone the extremely positive experience we had with Attorney Edward Wayland. We were "in the weeds" and getting "bullied" by opposing counsel. Jason was thorough thru my case which was a probation surrender and the court only gave me 128 days credit when sentenced attorney Stellmack didnt think that seemed correct and went back over my files and found that the court was off by 156 days so he put a motion in and made sure it was seen and heard quick and all time was approved..And my jail vredits equalled 10 days shy of a year.would highly recommend...

No contact on important topics, no explanations, prolonged the case. Threw her off it after she "offered" a virtual hearing because I had anxiety at court due to complex trauma. Then she said, "I can't JUST give you a virtual hearing. I need a reason." I thought, "WHAT - AFTER THE TEN I ALREADY GAVE YOU??!!" I threw her off it instantly calling her a b#tch & a c#nt because she had complete disregard for any trauma related issue I mentioned to her. Though she lied in the beginning saying she'd "treat me respectfully" and "we'll get this done appropriately" or something made up along those lines just so she could get paid. She won't last. Likes to lay it on thick in the beginning then do nothing. The judge even commented on the unreasonable amount of time taken to resolve the case - that she never did. I got someone else. He literally complained in front of everyone in the courtroom about her. L.M.F.A.O.H.!!!!!!!!

I had a very bizarre case and was charged with a crime I didn’t commit. Ashley was professional and on-point since day one. She was very communicative and reachable throughout the entire process. I was appointed Anthony by Suffolk Superior court. I was not satisfied in the least bit. He goes and puts in for a dismissal for part of my indictment without speaking with me. Even worst, he ask for a dismissal for the most frivolous part of the indictment. I couldn't understand for the life of me why he didn't ask for a dismissal of the whole indictment that contained no evidence! Needless to say i fired him. Can you believe he told me i can be re indicted on a faulty charge that was dismissed! I wouldn't recommend him to anyone I know!

In 1998, this lawyer handled my two misdemeanors (CMT's) that happened a month apart and before my five-year permanent residency. I expected a CWOF from those cases for years because he talked about it in details. I was surprised when I found out recently that it was actually a pre-trial probation (Chapter 276 Section 87). Now I can apply for naturalization without worries. My experience shows that he really chooses the best legal option for his clients.

Tracy was one of eleven trial lawyers in one of the largest pharmaceutical cases in the history of the industry back in 2003 in federal court. She worked tirelessly and was focused on the facts, to the point that the other ten trial lawyers would ask for her documents in the morning and on court room breaks, because they were not as prepared. Additionally, when she spoke, the jury listened. Tracy has the ability to build trust with all parties including clients, judges, jurors and even opposing counsel which is the cornerstone of effective representation. It was clear to see the response from all parties when she spoke, and I felt relieved that I had the most effective and powerful attorney in the courtroom.

After being served a Grand Jury subpoena, my company gave me a choice between two highly qualified attorney's and I chose Tracy based on her extensive and successful resume. When we met, I was very impressed with her direct approach to the issue and the excellent questions she asked to get at the details. In addition, she coached me on how to handle questions from other attorneys and the importance of simply answering the inquiries instead of trying to add too much detail. She is very professional as well as tough and effective in her approach and she taught me a lot about the legal system. After my testimony, the end result was no further action on the part of the US Attorney towards me personally. Tracy is an incredibly talented lawyer and I highly recommend her without reservation.
