Sanjay won our case at a Jury Trial with a verdict of Not Guilty after a hard fought trial, even though he took some major heat from the judge who seemed intent on having him fail. If you're looking to hire an attorney, do yourself a favor and hire Sanjay Schmidt you won't regret it. I was facing LIFE! My case was complex, lots of medical reports and neuropatholigy. I was charged for murder even though the case was refutable through science and facts. Sadat worked strategically in building my case. Acquiring 2 reputable neuropathologists for my defense, 2 private investigators, self defense expert, video expert, and toxicologist. Every single expert on our team was top notch, EXPERTS in their field and provided an extreme value for the case. During cross examination Sadat drilled the Peoples doctors and detectives, practically embarrassing them. The audience laughed at how Sadat had every witness/expert/detective announce their own lies and mistakes. He was a master at his craft playing with children. By the time we were ready for trial the People put 2 prosecutors on our case, due to the overwhelming evidence we had. As a result, I was offered a deal I could not refuse - I took. From life to doing only 4 years (I was a 3 striker), Sadat saved my life! I would not be here if it wasn't for him. Because of him I was able to continue my life 110%. I have been out 2 years now, have a family, started a cleaning business, and now I am in the process of a Merger & Acquisition, and my life is only beginning. Due to my troubled youth, I have had several attorneys, seasoned attorneys. At the time of my case I believe Sadat was 28 years old, and being that I have had my taste in attorneys, I can truly speak from experience that he is really good at what he does. I’ve had quite a few attorneys in the past that came highly recommended from various sources some of which charged me more money then I care to even think about because at the end of the day once they got paid wouldn’t do anything for me and their only concern was getting me to take some kind of deal to end my case. Some of them even lied to me about how much time I would end up with if I didn’t take the D. A. ‘A offer. Mr Sadat always followed through with everything he said and he really did a lot for me. I now trust in him to the fullest and would never hire anyone else to represent me.

I was arrested for an alleged DUI in the county of Napa. Despite having fully cooperated with the arresting officer and performing the FSTs satisfactorily, the arresting officer didn't tell me that the PAS was optional and had me provide blood samples in an unsanitary area. Peter was quick to act, he had the blood samples thrown out and all of the extra charges that the DA manufactured into the case nulled and voided. In the end a serious DUI charge was reduced down to a single speeding infraction. Peter and his team were extremely helpful throughout the often frustrating and ambiguous ordeal. I hope you never need the services of a DUI lawyer, but if you do I unequivocally recommend Peter Johnson and his team. He literally wrote the book on DUI defense.

Incredible. Peter had my blood sample thrown out which led to the DA dismissing my case for insufficient evidence. As he said in my initial consultation, results are far from guaranteed but he thoroughly explored all possible weeknesses and put pressure everywhere possible to capitalize on anything possible. I can't possibly imagine better representation. I wish you the best of luck with any lawyer you choose to hire, but I hope for your sake that you choose Peter.

My first accident was a minor one that caused me some injury. Before consulting Rodrigo, I sought advice from major law firms, and they advised that my case wasn’t worth pursuing and that any settlement would be minimal. However, contacting and eventually hiring Rodrigo, I settled for the maximum amount possible. Not only that, but throughout the entire process, he managed everything with a positive attitude. I suffered a dog bite that could have ended much worse than it did and left me with a scar. I had no insurance at the time and ended up with costly ER bills. I contacted John as I had no idea how to handle this complicated situation on my own. From day one, John was empathetic and reassuring that he'd do his best to help find a proper resolution. From my experience, I can tell he genuinely cares about the well-being of his clients. He was always ready to answer calls and kept me up to date during very complicated times. We recently wrapped up the situation and he was able to reach a resolution that we were both comfortable with. I really can't recommend John enough. My wife suffered a traumatic incident in which a neighbor's pit bull dog killed our dog while she was on a walk and pushing our 1 year old in a stroller. We later came to learn that the pit bull dog had attacked another family that same day causing serious injuries. It was truly a horrific time for us not knowing if or how we could ever recover from this event. With John's help, we were able to pursue and ultimately reach a settlement with the homeowner's insurance company for our loss and suffering. John also helped me get the word out to the community, joining me at a neighborhood meeting that was organized to address concerns with dog attacks in the area. John is a true professional. He knows the law and he understands the process by which matters such as ours are resolved. This was tremendously valuable to us. John is honest, diligent, and forthcoming with his opinions yet maintains a steady and remarkable composure when dealing with a case. I am truly grateful that we found John to help us out.

l had to ask a lawyer’s opinion in an emergency situation. I have called and left a message for 5 lawyers l found on the internet. The only person who called back was Bart Kaspero, - he talked to me twice on that first day and gave me advice immediately what l could do at that moment. In a couple of days he got back to me again and asked about the developments in my issue; and then gave me advice again. Mr Kaspero was very attentive and patient. Finally, we talked again couple of days later and Mr Kaspero gave me advice not to spend money on lawyers at this point n time. I was so very grateful to him and after all his work in the last week he actually did not ask for any payments. Mr Kaspero gave me back my faith in people in other professions, and that there are still quality people out there, even when life seems to be very unfair and upsetting. Thank you so very much! I was charged with vehicular manslaughter which resulted in the unfortunate death of a pedestrian. Chris expertly guided the case through pre-trial divergence to allow me to perform community service and the case was ultimately completely dismissed! Lisa helped my husband and me with our process of getting a Green Card last year 2017. He found Lisa online and it was a great decision we made to go with her immigration service because I’m Japanese so it was very helpful for me that she explained details of immigration law in Japanese. Also I asked her a bunch of small questions that I was concerned about immigration process via email and she always gave me an answer. Before our immigration interview, Lisa went through everything of our case that our interviewer would ask. That got us prepared and was very helpful. Even though our phone’s signal was terrible at the time, she was patient and we really appreciated it. We are thankful for her patience and effort throughout the process. Highly recommend her.

Where to begin....first and foremost I would like to begin by thanking Lisa for all of her patience and hard work. Starting the immigration process was something my husband and I had been dreading for a very long time. We had two other consultations with different attorneys but they were not able to answer most of our questions. When we met Lisa, it was like night and day. She answered all of our questions without hesitation. She was confident and that put us at ease. She was always in touch with us via phone or email. Some of her emails were after regular business hours... like 11:00pm.. :) that definitely showed that she cared about our concerns no matter the time what it was. We didn't feel as if we were just another client. Lisa's assistant Brian is awesome. He always made sure to explain the stage of the process we were in in both English and Spanish, which we appreciated. I reached out to Che at 6am PST and he got back to me immediately. I explained my EEOC case to Che in detail and he spent the better part of 30 mins on the phone with me helping me devise a plan to counter my former company's severance offer. He is a legend and insanely smart and knowledgeable. After we ended our phone call I texted him back asking him to help me restructure the language of the email I was sending. Couldn’t have chose a better law firm. Since day one the communication was Amazing, Sergio and Rebeca answered all my questions and concerns thru out the process. From public defenders, to private pay attorneys, Conrad is the best attorney I have ever had, and I’ve had a few. I recently had a vandalism case, in which the DA twisted into domestic violence. I decided to take the case to trial. Conrad didn’t just win the trial, he got the charges dropped and case dismissed before it even went to trial. He never told me what I had to do. He gave me options and helped me make an educated decision. Not only was he extremely knowledgeable, but his personality created a safe and comfortable environment. I was not just a case; I was a person. He showed genuine care and concern for my situation. He put so much time into my case. He was passionate about my case. I am so impressed by Attorney Conrad Kuyawa. I have had professional dealings with him in the past via the legal community of which I am a part, but tonight I had a personal issue I needed experienced advice on, and contacted Mr. Kuyawa. He responded IMMEDIATELY and made himself available by phone for a consultation. At like 9 pm on a Tuesday night. Unheard-of. He was kind and knowledgeable and surprised me with the extent to which he knows his stuff. A very close friend of mine is having issues with a tenant who has become a menace. Refuses to pay rent, urinating under the house, playing music loud into the night, and refusing to leave. Due to some extenuating circumstances that I don't want to divulge publically, I thought there was no way to get this guy out. Conrad was very confident that one of two proposed methods could work, and even recommended the one that didn't involve hiring him right away. Even to hire him, he had two options--to hire him to prepare the forms needed (which must be completed accurately and WITHOUT ANY ERROR) for a small fee and then represent ourselves, or hire him for the eviction process for a very reasonable rate. I was thinking $150-$300 an hour and this is NOT the case. If you think you can't afford an attorney to assist on an eviction, think again and call Conrad. As an aside, I also know that he has handled criminal defense cases as well. I believe he works primarily East Bay (Contra Costa, San Joaquin, maybe Alameda County), but if you have a DUI or other type of criminal or personal injury case, contact him as well. I have no doubt that his calm demeanor and intelligence will win you over too! The situation is new and my friend and I need to ponder what the next step will be, but if we hire anyone, it will definitely be Conrad Kuyawa. Highly recommend this man! THANK YOU!

Do NOT use this law firm. They hardly respond to their customers, and they are thieves. They told me they’d pay my medical bills with the money received for my case, and over 2 years later I’m being contacted about my unpaid medical bills. I’ve tried reaching out MULTIPLE times to BD&J to settle this, they transfer me to multiple people, leave you on hold, don’t respond to voicemails. They stole my money and left me with unpaid medical bills. I specifically dealt with Edgar, Cenny, and Jasmine. DO NOT USE THEM!
