James was my brother's lawyer and created his will and Trust. He was the lawyer/executor, I was the Trustee. When my brother died we worked together to fulfill the will and Trust directions. One account did not make it into the Trust and so we had to go to probate court for that. This was mostly during Covid so court dates, appointments, etc., proved challenging. Throughout the entire process James was throrough, highly communicative, proactive and responsive. He was also compasssionate and "human". James' combnation of skill, communication and compassion allows me, without hesitation, to highly and enthusiastically recommend James Phan.

I have to say, Mr. Hark earned his way to be one of the top lawyers in New Jersey, and the sorrounding areas, for a reason. I am honored to have been able to have him in my corner throughout my case. He and his team never made false promises, and were always honest with me and my family. Knowing that there are several different factors when dealing with the courts, depending on the specifics of one's case, it is reasonable for people to feel somewhat skeptical at times. But, Mr. Hark never stopped fighting and I am appreciative of that. He held up his word all throughout the process. You can see his determination and tenacity speak through his words, and that drive also permeate through his team. And besides being an overall exceptional lawyer, he's just as great a person behind the suit; a honest man, a caring father, and a real person. I assure, that this is a real review from a situation that went on years and was finally resolved. Mr horicon his staff did an amazing job representing me in a motor vehicle crash, an eviction, a restraining order, and a criminal matter. He was able to successfully have the criminal matter dismissed, the restraining order dismissed and he just settled a car crash for me within 18 months from the date of the crash. His staff was always involved in on top of things and I was always aware of what was going on with all of my cases. He and his staff are very accessible kind and helpful at every turn every time I called. I felt like they were really involved with me and cared about me and my legal woes. I would be happy to call them again any day of the week. I also recommend them to anybody that's looking for an attorney to help them with a criminal, personal injury, family, restraining order, traffic, or other legal matter. I hired Mr. Hark for a very serious criminal charge in Camden County and then caught a second serious criminal charge in Camden county. Not only did he get me out of absolutely guaranteed state prison he got the case, remanded to municipal court, and got me straight probation on the second case. Did I say straight probation? I meant to say one year probation, not to not three or not four years probation. he did an amazing job. He was in touch with me every step of the way, constantly kept me informed, worked with me regarding my payment plan and inability to get a job given the pending criminal charges. He really was concerned about me and my well-being and my families well-being The entire time. There wasn’t a time I couldn’t get in touch with him… He’s always on call and available to help you and your family with our question. I absolutely highly recommend Mr. Hark for any criminal matter. I also understand that he has helped a few friends of mine with personal injury and Worker’s Comp. matters. They put me in touch with him and said the exact same thing. The first time I contacted Mark was in July 2017, before I was facing any charges, it turned out that the state filed simple assault charges against me, and in December I needed an attorney to represent me in court. Mr. Bernstein spoke with me from July up to December, and was incredibly knowledgeable, helpful and outlined what I can expect.
Mr. Bernstein provided super representation and achieved an incredible result, the case was totally dismissed! I would also like to mention that the case had a co-defendant, the co-defendant had his own attorney, and Mr. Bernstein was able to work amazingly well with the other lawyer!
The favourable outcome was possible because of the incredible professionalism of Mr. Bernstein. He is calm and down to earth, not to mention that Mr. Bernstein works well with state powers and knows the judges/prosecutors/etc. very well.
The case was not simple - yet all of the charges were dismissed.

I would absolutely recommend Kevin to anyone that needed help in his area of expertise without a doubt.
I liked working with his firm because they were highly professional and the rare thing you don’t find very often these days which is excellent customer service. When I had a question or information for him, he responded within one half hour every time, and if he was in court, his secretary would get in touch with him and provide me with a time that he would be able to call me back. He never left me hanging.
What stood out about Kevin for me besides the fact he was able to get all charges dropped, was the day I hired him I was pretty upset and full of shame and he was so sincere when he said “ Listen to me, you have absolutely nothing to be ashamed about, everyone makes mistakes “, which is so true, and making mistakes in life is (if we learn from them) are actually the only way we grow and learn as human beings.
The second thing that I liked was at our first meeting after giving him all details regarding the charges, was the fact he gave me the worst case scenario first which he really didn’t believe would happen and then told me the points that were in our favor and how with his expert knowledge which expanded beyond the police departments were what was going to be in our favor and he was absolutely right.

I received a Reckless Driving 5-point ticket in a Camden County town. Officer didn't like the way I changed lanes. We pleaded down to Unsafe Driving (Which is a larger fine but no points and no recurring insurance charges). Admittedly it had been 19 years since my last traffic violation, which I'm sure helped the judges decision... but stepping down from 5 points to no points is a huge win regardless of the circumstances (in my mind). Never had to go to a trial with officer. Simply negotiated with prosecutor at initial hearing, and judge agreed.

My 21 year old son needed an attorney and I required him to find legal representation on his own. My theory being, if you want to get in trouble for doing grown up things you will need to learn how to do grown up things! Peter Alfinito did an excellent job of representing me. I was involved in a minor car accident in which I was legally at fault because I had the stop sign, even though it fell into a 'gray area' as to who was responsible, based on the circumstances.

Worst experience of my life. Charged me way more then he first said and he did nothing but screw me over and kept postponing my court date because he had more important things to take care of he said. I was fighting to see my son more and had to wait 7 months to get to court bec of him. He Charged me 5000 to do nothing then wanted another 5000 to goto court. He was a horrible horrible laywer. My case was so easy I ended up not going to court with a laywer and i got 50 50 custody and got more then I asked for by myself. Don't waste your money on this guy.

I would not recommend this attorney. After paying $5000 he made my child support turn from $20 to $800, sent me an email telling me he was trying to contact me for more than a month when clearly the email was working fine and in zoom court he doesn’t know how to present himself professionally. One instance where he was representing me against my ex-wife, the camera was pointed only at his mouth from the nose down. Another instance, he had a picture of Scarface with a machine gun in the background in his office during court. Shop around.
