I was referred to this lawyer by another cooperate lawyer that told me he would use this lawyer if he was in trouble himself so I googled her and watched some of her videos online and you already know what I was thinking about if I could afford her. I was offered a 6 years federal prison time by the federal prosecutor until I contacted this woman which is why I'm on probation now. Very grateful and thank you again Ms Brunell.

I was already on a suspension from a previous DUI that I was found not guilty for. Someone somehow use my name for driving while my license was suspended . The court wanted me to plead guilty and gave me no chance to explain myself until I found this lawyer. He heard my story and we teamed up together and the court could never produce evidence to say that I was the one driving but they still tried to pursue me to give up my rights and agree to the fact that I was guilty but had no evidence. They dropped all charges thanks to John Fitzpatrick.

I highly recommend calling Mr. Deffet if you find yourself involved in a negative situation with a creditor and/or debt collections agency. Mr. Deffet provides one on one support and makes you feel comfortable and informed with every step of your case. I made the biggest mistake of my life one night and was pretty sure that I had destroyed my career and my life. I called Rob on the recommendation of a friend and he immediately talked me off the ledge, showing care and compassion that an idiot like me did not deserve.. Once the proceedings started, Rob was as effective as could be imagined with regard to handling the case but more importantly he kept me fully informed about what was going on. He not only knows the law, he knows people and he knows how judges think. He framed my case to the court in such a way that I ended up getting supervision when I deserved much worse. Other attorneys said i needed to take a deal that was ending up with time. Down to 30 months. He informed me what trial would cost and due to officer statements and other statements forced out of a witness in writing most likely not being able to be thrown out easily a trial was risky. He threatened with some solid motions even using an existing motion written by my last council in a much better fashion. It was effective and at least a deal was mad for some probation instead of doing time then possible acquit in an apeal. Sadly did end up taking a deal but was an amazing end to the situation and rapidly was taken care of. Definitely would recommend him all over the nation and thankfully I had some friends to help cover the costs that i was able to pay back. He is expensive but if there is a exploit in the case he will find it.

I hired Mr. Brandwein to represent my son 34 yrs. old who was arrested for being the only male of color around when the police arrived in Lincoln Park in response to a 23 yr. old who was intoxicate acting up. Mr. Brandwein obtained the tapes from the pizza parlor and was able to bring the case to quick resolution.
It was evident when we arrived at the court hearing the interactions with other lawyers, judge, police and other personnel that he is extremely respected. I highly recommend him.

We dealt with many attorneys in the past when it came to reinstating my drivers license, none were more honest and more aggressive than Attorney Small's. He took a situation where I myself did not feel confident in reestablishing my drivers license and through hard work and perseverance got my license back in under 20 days from start to finish, the funny part is the majority of that was purely paperwork with the court system. He is also VERY affordable, which is important to young adults like me, a lot of the attorneys I looked into before would not touch my case for anything less than a thousand dollars. We went from start to finish well under 400 dollars minus my personal court fines. He knocked off 4 months on my daunting 12 month sentenced, now because of him and him only, I will be able to go to school this coming summer and continue my education. I highly recommend Attorney Small's. I will be passing him along any friends/family/acquaintances that have any trouble with traffic cases. You best believe that I also will keep him as my personal traffic attorney. Also, a cool thing about Attorney Small's is he treated me like a human being, 15 minutes before court even started, we were in the back of the court room, making jokes, and talking about sports. Some time back I was pulled into a case involving a former employer, a federal grand jury, and allegations of bribing a state senator. Prosecutors wanted a sworn statement from me, and I was completely lost and overwhelmed. Fortunately, a good friend recommended Daniel Kessler and to this day I’m thankful they did. Mr. Kessler took on the case, explaining everything clearly without talking down to me. He negotiated with the prosecutors, handled their requests for files, and made certain that I wasn’t going to get dragged down for my old boss’ actions. I don’t know what I would have done without him. I do know it wouldn’t have been good. It’s a rare lawyer who can hold their own against the Feds but also doesn’t have an ego the size of Texas. Mr. Kessler is professional when he needs to be yet still casual enough to feel like I’m talking to a real person, one who actually cares about my situation even after the check clears.

Albukerk more than anything listens! He is the only lawyer to win a case of Medicaid or Medicare fraud in the Chicago area and also to win the release of a man falsely accused as a sexually violent person who had been jailed for 30 years. He gets in there right away and preserves evidence of your innocence. If you are guilty he has the experience and knows the prosecutors and judges and how to get you the lowest possible sentence on a plea bargain. The only negative is that he tends to be blunt about worse case scenarios - but I believe that is only a matter of informing you honestly of the fact that the courts do not necessarily follow the law and juries and judges do not necessarily go by the evidence. There is far too much politics and prejudice in the courts and in juries. He is about as good as you will get and his prices are moderate. My family has used him for a collections case, for criminal defense, and I have watched him help friends with divorce cases and police excessive force cases.

I first met Phil while I had got into some trouble on Felony probation back in 2010. Not only did I get arrested twice in the state I was on probation for, but also a third possible violation while obtaining an arrest across state lines (which is actually 2 violations being across state lines). One of these arrests almost had gotten me kicked out of my college, he went with me to the official board meeting where we pled my case and collected witnesses and all the information proving my innocence and saving my college career. I have literally come to this man with the most difficult situations that would not have turned out the same if I did not have adequate representation! Ever since he has handled my probation back in 2010 I could see the amazing proficiency at his profession.
Lastly, after everything I had been through, after graduating college, holding a successful career for a year, then receiving an offer from another company - another roadblock arose when my background check came back with my arrest that I was on probation for back in 2010. The company said they could not hire me with that on my record. I called Phil and asked him what we could do. I am not kidding when I say this man's word is GOLD. What he says he will do - he makes happen. He told me not to worry, everything would be alright. I went down to see him the next day and sure enough the day after he spoke with the hiring manager for the company she called me congratulating me telling me that she was going to clear my background check to hire me for employment and Phil setting up an immediate expungement in front of the judge for the following Tuesday. (saw him on Thursday)
Phil has worked for me on short notice, multiple times, and given nearly impossible situations that he has gotten me out of. I honestly have to just laugh because I don't know how he does it.
He has literally watched me grow up from a dumb young punk teenager who made some stupid mistakes, into a young adult who has learned from those mistakes.

Vadim, a great lawyer, I will definitely recommend over any other lawyers in the area. He made it super easy for me to understand my case and my charges that I was charge with and what options I have. He help me step by step very professional, very helpful and very respectful. While driving a manual in bumper to bumper rush hour traffic on a Chicago expressway, I inadvertently hit a solid white line and was pulled over by a Chicago police. In the citation process, I realized in changing purses; I did not transfer my wallet. The cop impounded the car, put me in my handcuffs, and off to Pulaski station, I went. I was told as there is no women's lockup, I would be taken to Cook County Jail. Thank goodness for law enforcement blood ties; eventually, I was released. Now facing two charges, I was bewildered. Could I not simply retrieve my license and pay the ticket.

I own multiple businesses and Eric Bell has done law work for me and consultation work for the last 15 years. I have also referred several people to him (at least 5 family members or friends that used him) over the years. This guy puts his heart and soul into every case he gets whether it is something trivial or major, in cook county or has to drive to Dupage county or a neighboring courthouse he will get it done. You obviously have to have some intelligence to be an effective attorney but to really get things done you have to have a great work ethic and be likable too. Eric fits the bill, he has a fierce work ethic and I don't know if I ever met anyone that doesn't like him. I tell everyone I can about Eric. As nice as he is, he's an animal in the court room. I have had real bad experience with attorneys before meeting ms. lane. I had a dui probation violation and the attorney I paid good money sold me out and I end up in prison for probation violation, which was not a violation in my view. Ms. Lane was appointed to handle charges against me - it was criminal felony charges that could keep me in prison for 7 plus years. I knew I didn't commit that crime, but because I was already in prison I told Ms. Lane that I don't mind pleading guilty for something so I can get it over and done with!
Prosecutors were telling her that I was guilty and I should plead 5 year and they will forgive the rest of the years. I was going to plead, but Ms Lane said I don't let you go before the judge and lie. The prosecutor was scaring both that if we go trial I would get the longest charge 7 plus years. Ms. Lane said we will take a chance with the jury. after 2 months back and forth, the prosecutor told her I should accept a misdemeanor for 1 year and I was going to take it but she said you are not guilty we will take a chance with the jury. then we had to go before the judge. Prosecutor said to judge taht my attorney is not allowing to plead becasue Iwas willing to take the plea deal. The judge looked at me and said Sir do you want to plead guilty to this charge and I said yes. Judge said let's hear your story. Ms lane said judge my client is not guilty but he wants to plead guilty because he is scared of sitting longer if convicted of something he ididnt' do. I will not let him stand before you and lie. I have informed him of his right and he is going against my advices. she stepped aside. Judge started asking me about the specifics of the crime and I didn't know the answers and looked at my attorney and boy did she tell me! she said you are on your won Michael. Well the judge told me "enough" I heard enough set it for trial. One month later the day of the trial, the prosecutor still scaring my attorney to accept plea just fine not time, my attorney told me she would accept it if she were me. She said you are innocent let's take our change with jury. Well that was the day of my life, prosector went before the judge and said we are dismissing the case because we can proof our burden beyond reasonable doubt. Case dismissed the day of the trial after three or so months after the charge. Ms Lane I wished I had known you before. YOu are the best nobody ever fought for me as hard as you did.

Ms. Lane was handeling my brother's DUI when I heard of her. Soon afterwards, the police was on my door for back child support pretending to be mail delivery and that is how all began. They came to my house to arrest me and as I was emptying my pocket out and giving it all to my girlfriend they grabbed it from her and going thru my wallet, IDs and lighter. They claim my lighter was stiletto and I was charged with carring a switchblade criminal misdemeanor. Before you know I was arrested had to pay bond to get out. This is when I hired Ms. Lane. I told her that I had bought that lighter for $5 at a gas station and it had a knife inside like a box cutter. Long story short, I was not going to plead for having a knife/box cuter - specially at my home when I live out in the county. Prosecutor was "dick" and wanted me to plead guilty or else... my attorney was the best thing that ever happened to me. She said my client wants a jury trial. After a long all day trial and the judge, prosecutor and the two cops giving her hell. Will all respect she contiued with inforing the jury about the 2 Amendment, that this was not a switchblade and did not appear to be ... she bpulled out a pen out of her pocket that had a knief inside .. scaring the cop that he was so dumb. I can tell how hard they made it to her and she never quit fighting for me. The Jury was out only 10 minutes - the verdict was sweet - NOT GUILTY... thanks to her I ahve no criminal record. The cops look dumb! best day of my life .. I called everybody saying how great my attorney was.... Thank you Ms.Lane!
