I hired Mr. Lykes to handle a personal injury case that was a result of a car accident. I was fairly young when it happened so I was pretty over my head when it came to legal matters. The whole process took about two years and throughout the entire process, I was informed about what was going on. Whenever I had questions I called his office and if he wasn't available at the moment, his secretary would relay the message and he would quickly get back to me. When all was said and done, I was very happy with the outcome -- especially after hearing other stories from other people in that have been in the same position as me.

If you are looking for an honest and trustworthy Attorney that has your back no matter what the charge, stop looking and hire Mr. Wise to represent you. I've never been in trouble in my past but due to a situation I had officers decided to come to my home and arrest me. This was a scary time of my life and I had no idea what to do. When I was booked in at the local county jail, I made my one phone call to my father asking him to find me representation while I'm in jail. My father did his research and immediately started looking for the best representation. He called quite a few 10 rated criminal attorneys and all were nice but wanted to discuss fees immediately. When my father got in touch with Mr. Wise, their was no discussion of the fees, instead Mr. Wise offered to go see me while in jail. While in Jail Mr. Wise came to see me and stated that he'd be happy to represent me for my case and even helped me find a local bondsman to get out. Once I arrived home I did my research and even interviewed other attorneys by phone just to make sure I was getting the best representation. After all my research I decided to Hire Mr. Wise, and I'm glad I did. We got the verdict I needed and now my life is back on the upward path it always was. Mr. Murtha helped me with my DUI case. I got a DUI in August 2015 and he just settled it in January 2017. He was excellent in court in front of the Judge but he was also always there for me in this extremely stressful time with kind words to keep me positive. He explained how I could obtain a business license, kept my head up got me through one of the most difficult times in my life and cheered me on to move forward with a positive outlook on my life. Brunvand Wise was the best to handle my case! I was charged with Domestic Battery for protecting myself against someone who was hurting me physically.

Manny Penton is THE attorney to choose if youre in Tampa, Pasco, or Pinellas. I have been dealing with driving without a license for several years about eight to be exact I had gone through a couple of public defenders and paid attorneys from Naples to Fort Myers to Sarasota and here in St Petersburg. I've spent a lot of money and spent a lot of time in jail because of this even accepted a felony charge I was on the telephone with Miss Johansson explaining my situation, with in not even 15 minutes she precisely explained the law to me and that I should have never spent even one minute in jail or been convicted as a felon because my license was suspended for fines just blew me away when we went to court in front of the same judge who had convicted me of the felony missed your handsome was calm cool collective and very professional my opinion the only professional in the building at that time.
Should I ever get in trouble again with the law I will go directly to Ms Johansson and I'd recommend you do the same God bless have a great day.

Lived in Florida back in the early 90's, got a DUI in Pinellas county and moved away without clearing up that situation. Twenty five years later when I finally decided to address the issue Michael J. Boyle was able to help me clear it all up without me having to go there. I called him in mid February, the case was completely resolved by the first week of April. Hired Chris for divorce.. He proved to be a very nasty, insulting, judgmental, sick, unhappy person. He knows how to be nice at first, to reel in your business, but he turned into a nightmare of hostility and incompetence. He made frequent mistakes including huge errors in my final judgement document. He mixed me up with other clients. He often would side with opposing counsel against my wishes. I gave him a flat fee retainer with the understanding that if the case went to court, he would need an additional $10,000, refundable if it didnt go to court. Even though I knew it would settle, I gave him only $6200 for court because I sensed that he was going to rip me off. We settled the case through my negotiations and not his expertise. He was completely triggered by opposing attorney and intimidated by him. After final judgment, his immediate phone call to me was hostile belligerence, not good luck to you. He deliberately picked a fight for no reason. He refused to refund the $6200. Citing that it was like a commission for me keeping most of my house. I see these reviews that are good and it baffles me, because he was atrocious in every aspect. Retirement should be a necessity.

This lawyer did nothing to help me in court, though I paid his fees. I provided him with evidence that supported my defense, but he never provided it to the judge or state attorney.
The alleged victim, admitted in open court that she lied on her original statement and was drunk and off hermedication. He convinced me that the judge and jury would believe she was lieing to protect me. He said if I did not take the plea deal of 2 yrs prison, followed by 3 years probation, I would lose trial and receive the max. He coerced me into taking a plea deal that significantly damaged my life, despite all the evidence of my innocence.
He never presented any evidence that would have helped my defense. He did absolutely nothing but promise good results and lie. He took my hard earned money and did nothing in return, but scare me into signing a plea deal, despite the evidence of my innocence, including the alleged victims testimony.

I hired Nick Dorsten for a felony case, and I would say that he was very ineffective and inexperienced. He worked on my case for 8 months, I literally provided all the evidence he needed to win my case, and he didn’t do anything. He literally sat on exculpatory evidence for 5 months, than tried to force me to take a plea when I repeatedly advised him that I was not guilty and refused to plea out. I worked with him for over 8 months and he had no defense built for trial that was rapidly approaching in 3 days. Please be weary! I don't want to give too slander or details in fear of being sued, but just be careful when you choose your attorney. Thankful I found an exceptional attorney days before my trial that was able to get my case dismissed and they did more research in 48 hours than he was able to do in 8 months. If I went with him, I would have a record or worse, i could be in jail.
