It was my first time facing a felony in my life. Had I been found guilty, I would have jeopardized my custody of my daughter and my career. I hired this law firm to defend me from some very serious charges. Like you I started off reading reviews and doing my research. One thing that I found helpful was that I put his name into Google's news search and saw that he isnt one of those attorneys that pump themselves up with fake claims, he legitimately has defended cases that made international news.
My case was not nearly as serious as a triple murder but he acted like it was. He was kind and understanding even as I freaked out repeatedly about the status of my case. I would definitely hire them again.

We searched on line for an immigration lawyer who could speak Spanish and English to help my wife on her green card application after getting married through a K-1 visa. We came across with Jennifer Peyton for her great reviews and we were not disappointed. She and her staff were very nice, understanding and patience. In the summer of ‘14, my wife and I hired Jenna Peyton to guide us through the immigration process (moving from Canada to the USA). Our dealings with her from our first consultation meeting to the point where we achieved my Green Card were professional, informative, efficient and helpful. My father contacted Ken Bossin when I was involved in a driving incident that had the potential of leaving me with a suspended license. Since we had never had the need for an attorney in this kind of matter, we were at a complete loss as to how to proceed. A relative supplied us with the names of several possible attorneys, one of whom introduced us to Mr. Bossin. When my father spoke with Mr. Bossin on the phone, we immediately stopped our search, being thoroughly impressed with the breadth of his knowledge and the depth of his experience. We found him approachable and very easy to work with. Throughout the period of moving this through the court system he was very clear about his goals and what he would need on my part to back up the case he was presenting. In October of 2023, I found myself in a situation that I would’ve never imagined being in. As a person who doesn’t even have as much as a parking ticket on my record, I was charged with theft from a local grocery store. My case was unique as I didn't intentionally take any items from the store, but was instead provided incorrect information by a store employee. Ken took the time to truly understand the circumstances and details of the sequence of events that actually happened and did not stop his work until the charges against me were dismissed. In all of the research that I did before deciding to hire an attorney, I did not see a single instance when charges like mine were just dismissed outright. Typically, for first time offenders the best outcome to a case like mine is being offered a diversion program in exchange for the charges being dropped. Even when the prosecutor offered me the opportunity to compete the diversion program, Ken still went to battle on my behalf and argued the facts of the case until the prosecutor agreed to dismiss the charges. I truly could not have asked for a better outcome or better representation. Ken was on my side every step of the way and I would recommend him to anyone seeking legal counsel, as you will not find someone who puts more time or effort into your case and truly cares about the outcome.

As a Federal Government employee, I became the target of an Office of Inspector General (O.I.G.) criminal investigation. I found Ian Friedman after doing research on several sites for a Federal Criminal Defense attorneys in Cleveland, Ohio. One thing that I was impressed with was his success rate at jury trial. I looked at other attorneys but was shocked when I read reviews about them "dumping" clients in the middle of their case. Ian had a lot of client reviews who stated that he supported them throughout the entire case. I could not find one derogatory remark about his skills and abilities. After doing a Google search I came across some of his interviews on popular television shows such as The O'Reilly Factor and Piers Morgan.
Next, I set up an initial consultation with Ian and his team. He made me feel very comfortable and confident that I had met with the right person. The thing that separated Ian from other attorneys that I spoke to was his honesty about his retainer fee. Most attorneys will give you a low figure to "hook" you into retaining them, then, they will bilk their client with fees. My co-defendant was given a low retainer fee but our out of pocket costs ended up exactly the same. After the initial sticker shock, I spoke to my family and we decided that Ian and his team were my best option. He was absolutely worth every cent!!!
Ian and Mark Devan started the pre-indictment work and engaged the AUSA. After meeting with the AUSA they devised the best strategy to address the case. They found a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and had an independent opinion written based on the known facts of the case which was supported by case law and policy. The AUSA called three (3) grand juries for testimony and had over a dozen witnesses testify. The final verdict was a "No Bill." There were times, when I thought that I could no longer handle the stress of the situation. Ian always told me, “Don’t worry about it. I’ll handle it.” Or “let me worry about that.” I truly believe that the outcome would have been very different if I would not have been blessed with Ian, Mark Devan, and Brad Wolfe on my side.

I don't typically do the whole review thing but in this case I feel it's necessary. Mark was referred to me by a friend of mine in January 2014. During this time, I was at a very rough point in my life and needed some help cleaning a few matters up. I went to my initial consolation and knew within the first 5 minutes that I needed to hire him. At the time I was 26, and unfortunately this was not the first time I had been in legal trouble. Prior to hiring Mark, I had used 3 other defense attorneys in the Cleveland area. Elena worked with my husband and I on our family immigration case. From the beginning until the very end of our processing she was very responsive and patient with us. First, during the free consultation she gave me and my husband a very detailed overview of the process. She sounded very confident, attentive, and professional, which prompted us to choose her out of the numerous lawyers we had been considering.
During the processing we had lots of questions and concerns, we were stressed and nervous most of the time. We were not the easiest clients to work with, as we were worried and concerned (sometimes with no valid reason). However, anytime we called or emailed Elena with our questions she always responded within 1 day, she even agreed to skype with me to discuss my concerns. She consulted with my husband right before the visa interview and helped him handle stress and worrying.
In regards to handling our case, we are highly satisfied with Elena's work. Our petition packet was assembled quickly and correctly, and went through USCIS with no issues. During NVC stage, we had a little glitch with application, for which we received a checklist. However, Elena handled the problem promptly, she had the corrected document mailed out the next day.
Overall, my husband and I are very satisfied with and grateful for Elena's work. For a very reasonable fee she did great amount of work for us, including emotional support during stressful immigration processing. I would, without hesitation, recommend Elena to a friend going through this difficult, stressful, and lengthy process.

As a former employee of a corporation in Cleveland, I was let go of my job and had to move back to my hometown of Akron, Ohio. I informed my landlord of my situation and told him that I was unable to live in Cleveland and needed to terminate my lease. However, the landlord didn't care about the situation and forced me to continue paying the rest of the lease, more than what my roommate was asked to pay, even though we both had moved out of the apartment at the same time.
My Attorney, Tania Nemer, was able to negotiate and resolve the matter very quickly. She knew that this was a serious situation for me, so she gave it the attention it deserved. She was willing to work over the weekends for me and she went out of her way to go above and beyond the average call of duty expected from an attorney. She not only negotiated a fair deal for myself and the other party involved, but she was able to control the situation so that the other party would not hold me liable for any other payments.

I can't say enough about how pleased I was with Meghan's help. It was truly a blessing that the first attorney I talked to decided she was not willing to represent me after I had already sent her over $1000. After being worried sick for almost two years about an upcoming DMV hearing it is all over and I received no punishment for the alleged violation. Meghan is an outstanding attorney. I have received several traffic violations in the past which could have led to my drivers license being suspended and possibly revoked. However, with Meghan's expertise and knowledge in NC DMV issues she was able to save my license and I still have my driving priviledges. After a DMV hearing gone terribly wrong, my license was suspended for a year. My girlfriend and myself spoke with more than a dozen attorneys from all over the state, not one of them even wanted to touch my case. When I contacted Meghan she immediately took attention and said that I had a good argument in my favor. I was required to file an appeal to try to have my DMV hearing changed. Not only was Meghan able to get my license back, but was able to do it without ever having to go to an appeal and accomplished 10X more than I ever expected. She did it in a timely manner and also did not make me have to sell the house to pay her fees. She was very reasonable and seemed genuinely concerned about my situation. I cannot say enough about how much I appreciate what she did and what she was able to do. To make this even more impressive, she did all of this without us ever having to meet face to face.
