Attorney Benjamin Luftman represented me back in 2017. Im leaving a review now because back then i wasnt aware of how helpful and important reviews were and over time as i learned how important they were ive just forgotten to leave a review. So i feel i should leave one now. So. Back on topic. Mr.luftman represented me back in 2017 for allegations that were made against me and without going to deep into detail what i will say is Mr.Luftman and his team were very kind. Answered any questions i had and were just the absolute best. While searching for an attorney i only wanted the best and this law firm was on top of the list. Even to this day. Years after everything has been said and done with the case in 2017 he continues to answer random questions down the line with the utmost honesty. Whether i like the answer or not. He doesnt hide anything. He was reasonably priced. He will be the one i turn to if anything shall happen in the future though i hope i may never have to call him again. I highly HIGHLY recommend turning to Luftman, Heck and associates should you need legal services. My son was arrested for an OVI charge, along with a related charge. Having never dealt with this issue before, I contacted a trusted friend who is an attorney. He said that Shawn runs the best DUI practice in the Columbus area. We took his advice to contact Shawn and we were very glad we did as Shawn and his team were very responsive, competent, professional and effective.
Shawn's office immediately took our call on a Sunday and scheduled a consultation for first thing the following morning. During the consultation, Shawn provided a clear explanation of the process (including timeline), charges and potential outcomes.
Throughout the process, Shawn and his team kept my son informed of the progress, includings the filings and motions made on my son's behalf, discovery data (including Shawn's assessment of how the data/evidence would possibly affect the case) and reminders of court dates.
Thanks to Shawn and his team, the case was settled with the related charge being dismissed and the minimum sentence for the OVI charge. The OVI laws are complex and I can't imagine how my son would have navigated the process without the help of Shawn and his team.

From the first call with Shawn I knew that I had made the right choice for representation. I hired Shawn's firm to help me get a record sealed/expunged. Once they had agreed to take on the case, the process began quickly and was expertly handled with very little required of me. I met Shawn the morning of the scheduled hearing and he was able to get the expungement order signed by the judge without me even needing to appear.
I do not expect to have a need for Shawn's services again, but I know that he will be the first attorney I recommend to others.

Andrew helped me with a divorce and a later custody issue. He's a straight-shooter that tries his best to actually resolve the issue as quickly as possible with the best outcome for everyone involved. He also does his best to try to keep things from spiraling into unnecessary tangents and side-issues in the case and keep everyone focused on getting a resolution.
I also like that he's direct and blunt - he'll let you know if you're making things worse for yourself and help you get back on track.
But - above all - he actually cares about his clients and the process - I never had to worry about him missing court dates or deadlines or turning in half-baked motions or written responses. He always checked in with me before anything important was happening and always made sure I was aware of everything that was happening through the process.
I'm hoping that I never have to use his services again, but I'm happy he's just a phone call away if I do.

I was pulled over and charged with OVI in Licking County. We hired Roger to handle my case.
The night of the incident, I had one beer 2.5 hours prior to leaving. I was driving my husband's pickup truck and drove on the white lines while I was trying to find the cruise control. I was pulled over and asked to do the field sobriety test. I did what was asked of me and believed to have passed the tests. The cop believed I did not pass the tests, and placed me under arrest. There were several things that we believed that the cop did incorrectly- incomplete directions during the test, searching my person (male cop), saying he smelled alcohol when there was no smell, etc. He asked me to do a breath test, and I declined, due to the law that states it is the cop’s discretion to charge you even if you blow a 0.01. The cop ultimately ended up breath testing my husband, who had nothing to lose since he was a passenger in the vehicle. My husband blew a 0.00, and drove us home.
Licking County has zero tolerance when it comes to OVI’s, so they either drop it or go to trial. We went to trial and Roger believed we had a good case. If I was found guilty, I was looking at a minimum of 10 days in jail, along with fines and whatever else the judge may require. Roger and his colleague Josh did a great job during the trial and the outcome was a hung jury. I was not charged and we believed the whole ordeal to be over.
A few weeks later, we received news that they wanted to have a re-trial. Roger and Josh were very prepared for the re-trial and did an outstanding job. Every single jury member voted Not Guilty and I was not charged.
From the date of the incident to the completion of the re-trial, the timeline was about 1 year. During this time, I was completely stressed, anxious, and overwhelmed with what the outcome could be. We received the best outcome that we could have asked for, and I am so thankful for and appreciative of Roger and Josh, and the time and work that they put into my case.

I am writing this review to help people looking for a lawyer TO STOP! I was in trouble with a serious traffic offense, stood to lose everything I had. Colin was available to me 24/7. Even texted to just check in. Although there was a wait time with court appearances, he went in to stand up for me. I have serious anxiety. He told me he would take care of it and to stay home. Eventually, when my SENTENCE DAY came, again he went to bat and I was given a 50 dollar fine. Something that could have ruined my life forever was fixed by Colin. Forever indebted.

I had to take Colin's help for a speeding ticket. He was the one to pick my call when i started calling random lawyers from Google. When everyone else had voicemails, Colin was at work pretty early during the day. I owe Stacie so much for her help. I was in a very bad situation a couple years ago with very serious charges. With advice from friends I went to get consultation from a bunch of different lawyers around town. They all told me that they couldn't promise anything and I would most likely be doing some jail time. But when I met Stacie, she was very calm and told me my situation could be handled with just probation. I was faced in a very uncomfortable situation where I needed to hire an attorney to represent me in Franklin County Court. I do recommend Cleve Johnson for anybody needing representation. We all make mistakes. I did and was pulled over basically for pulling out of a bar. This is very common and they make up a reason for pulling you over. Next thing you know they say they smell the odor of alcohol and would like you to preform sobriety tests. At that point it doesn't matter what you were pulled over for the police believe they have an OVI and will arrest you. If it wasn't for Cleve Johnson I most definitely would have been convicted because I gave the police all the evidence they needed. It takes a lawyer like Cleve to find errors in how the police treated the situation. Cleve takes his time and puts forth every effort to make the outcome of the case the way you want it. He is the best, trust me. Thank you Cleve!!!!

David Abromowitz was the lawyer I hired to help set up my IV Hydration and Vitamin Infusion business. He charged me quadruple what was discussed (quoted me 3.5-5K - charged me over 20K and I paid a final amount of OVER 12k - astronomical amount) and took 3 times as long to complete the job. Three other nurses in my coaching group (NursePreneurs) had similar experiences with him and another nurse, coincidentally, came forward today from a different IV Hydration/Vitamin Infusion business reporting the same story. RNs - be warned! He is dishonest and will overcharge you! I notified the BBB but his response was "I'm sorry she didn't understand". You and I both know the truth, Mr. Abromowitz. You were intentionally dishonest. It's people like you that give lawyers a bad name. All these RNs trusted you, I trusted you. Despite your lawyerly response to this review - you and I know the truth.

Very unprofessional. I paid Jessica $350; all she did was eat her breakfast, and she gave me some paperwork. She was too rude even to answer any questions and never answered my calls after the original consultation . She then claimed to have sent me several emails and demanded that I answer her (her way to get rid of me as a client) to sever her services; at this point, I realized it was best to cut my losses and get a lawyer who cared. Please don't waste your time with this one; she is a high-priced waste of your time.
