Doug in my opinion is the best criminal attorney in Texas. I've had the experience to obtain him on 2 different occasions an I would hire him for a third time if needed. Hopefully not, but I wouldn't even second guess .

Worst experience working with a law firm I ever had and their legal advice put me at risk. They are argumentative and hostile. I had to hire another attorney because the lack or professionalism in their conduct was becoming concerning. If you care about the outcome of your case FIND SOMEONE ELSE!

Attorney: Cory Young and I met just before I had to sign for 12 yrs. On a D.W.I felony. This was my third trip to T.D.C for the same offense. I knew I needed the best, and not some commercialized firm with five attorneys working under the attorney that made a name for themselves in the past. Cory gave us a personalized experience by keeping in touch with us and always got back to us if we had questions or concerns. I did make my second parole, in fact I did less time on this offense than the previous D.W.I. He did an outstanding job, and since making parole, I retained him regarding a writ. It's a good feeling when you can sit down with a lawyer with several years of experience underneath him & he can look at your case & as long as you're giving him factual information he can give you a list of scenarios to the outcome. Not all cases are the same, although Brian Burns strives to give you the best outcome possible based on your case. "He never once told me the case would for certain be dismissed," although that was one option he mentioned as well as several other options I would be looking at. I feel like he wanted me to know that my case could go in several different directions. So he's very honest.
I provided Mr. Burns with the information he asked in order for him to present the case & he worked his magic. The case was indeed dismissed.

I had a case of posession of marijuana in Montgomery county jail for less than 2 ounces
I was dropped a felony to a misdemeanor and served 1 year probation. He was even there for me when I was revoked my probation in 2009 and although this review was due a long time ago. Best lawyer hands down in Conroe Tx!! At the age of 19 Got a lot of misdemeanor tickets dismissed and got a first degree felony down to a 3rd and got probation... And into my probation i picked up another felony and he got that dismissed! And was able to not get my probation revoked for it...and finally finished my probation over with and got it dismised!! I owe this man a lot im 30 now, two kids and a lovely wife! If it wasnt for him i probably would've been locked up still for my first felony!!

Guys seriously run away from this attorney, I feel he's no good and doesn't care about you or your family. I also feel he's just as corrupt as alot of the public servants in the State of Texas.
If he's failing to follow the Texas Lawyers Creed, all attorneys and judges are required to follow this, however the law on this has no penalty but merely shows a lack of professionalism, what else he is willing to do unprofessionally?

When I came to Jack McCormick I had no idea how to file for disability - what the process was or what to expect. All I knew was that I was mentally and physically no longer able to work. First and foremost, Mr. McCormick listened to me. In order to work as long as I did, I had downplayed and hid my disabilities for years. It was difficult to go from that to talking about everything, having to discuss every detail of my physical and mental impairments, and ask for help. Mr. McCormick started from the very beginning and walked me through each step. Filing for disability is terrifying. You are unable to work, finances are low, and there are all these forms to fill out. You are in a state of limbo waiting on the decision. Mr. McCormick stayed with my case. He told me exactly what was required and expected. He reviewed all my documents and discussed what was needed to complete my records.
