I wanted to began by saying that if you are looking for a honest and hard working attorney Mr.Bogan is the way to go, he always made me understand my husbands options and always made it our choice on what we wanted to do after giving us his legal counsel. In my case it was looking bad for my husband,it looked like he was going to be in jail for a while but Mr. Bogan fought and managed to reduced the years they were giving him, something that I thought would not happen. With that being said, feel comfortable to work with Mr.Bogan he does an excellent job.

Mr Bogen was assigned my son's case as a public defender in Kaufman county back in July of 2022. My son faced serious charges that sadly he was guilty of. However the focus of Mr Bogen from day one was to get my son the help he needed to get over his addictions and live a successful life without this mistake being held over my son's life forever. When Kaufman county refused to help my son, Mr Bogen fought them hard and got them to dismiss the charges in a short 2 months. He also gave a dose of reality to my son's mom and made her realize that she had to step up or see her first born in prison for up to 40 years.
He went above and beyond and got the best possible outcome for my son. He fought hard for a client that the county was paying for, at no point did I feel like he was not fighting 100% with all of his tools to win.
My only regret is he does not handle Family Law cases.

Going into my sons case I was praying for the best but prepared for the worse. No matter what day or time if we called Mr. Bogen and he couldn’t answer us right away he would text right away that he was in the middle of something and he kept his word by always calling back. I was referred to Mr. Corbett by a couple of my close friends. I can tell you I was not disappointed! He was great and I could not recommend him more! His prices were much better than anyone else I had spoken to before. He took care of all of the court dates for my misdemeanor and got it dismissed, all for $500! Let me start by saying Jesus met me on the day I was to accept a DWI plea. My attorney I hired couldn’t make it so Jesus met me there. Upon reading the conditions my attorney negotiated Jesus advised me that if I was his client he wouldn’t feel comfortable allowing me to sign it. He then negotiated with the prosecutor and got me a much better deal. Saved me $5,000 in fines and a lesser charge. He did all of this without billing me a dollar. I am so grateful and would recommend him to anyone who is facing criminal charges in Dallas.

Detectives was coming after me in two counties and keep arresting me for warrants with my old lawyer. Ms Baharan got me a Not guilty when we had a jury trial. She was the one I trusted had my back and she always was there when I was upset and didn't even like her at one point because they wouldn't dismiss the case. I was arrested and taken to jail with a DWI . I’ve never had any convictions or been in that situation before so everything was new to me. Not only to mention I’m a DACA holder, so everything and anything could hurt my status.As a young adult is hard to be taken serious due to our age.We still want this matter taken care off the best way possible because our future is on the line. Efrain was very professional and what I like to call “ The Goat” he took care of business. After going to court for almost 1.5 yrs he always made sure I knew everything was going to be handle in the best way possible. And finally it did, my DWI was dropped to a lesser charge and I was able to keep my DACA. My case was quite difficult due to my immigration status. Although I am in the process of fixing through my wife, probation was a risky option. Going to report to probation would risk me getting deported. Mr. Sain handled my case better than anyone else could have. Russ, Michelle and their office staff assisted me in resolving a complicated felony DWI case. Let me just say, this was the most stressful time of my entire life; when you have a pending legal charge, you spend every day in limbo- feeling scared and uneasy about what the future may or may not hold. I am unsure if I could have made it through those months without the help of their office. As a local business owner and single parent, my life was completely chaotic, even before this added stressor. Russ and Michelle were incredibly knowledgeable, easy to talk to, reassuring and FAST; if I had any question, I could always just shoot over an email and expect a response within hours, sometimes minutes. They kept me informed and were completely honest about exactly what was happening and what I was to expect during the whole ordeal. I knew they were going to fight for my cause, and that they genuinely cared about what was going to happen to me. All thanks to Mr. Pete Schulte! Never having been in a predicament with the law, I was incredibly sacred and nervous when I walked into Mr. Schulte's office for my initial meeting. However, I walked out feeling relieved. He assured me of his goal to have my case dismissed, all while making it clear what to expect in any event. And thereafter all communication was very prompt and direct. Due to Covid my case was pending for a long period, but Mr. Schulte never failed to personally provide a quick response or update. This gave me great peace of mind over the past couple years. And though I was extremely happy to learn my case had been dismissed recently, I was not surprised! Consult with Sheridan Lewis before you hire an attorney.
I was falsely accused of an unspeakable crime and had no clue how to defend against such an awful allegation. How does one prove that something never happened, after all? Being referred to Sheridan was by far the best thing that happened!
When I sat down to take a polygraph, the examiner told me he didn't know if I had done anything wrong YET (implying he would after the exam). He quickly added that what I had done right was to hire Sheridan Lewis. Truer words were never spoken.
Sheridan's expertise is unmatched. She truly is brilliant. Her intelligence, years of experience, excellent communication style, and fighting spirit are just what you need no matter how serious the allegation against you. Sheridan offered excellent advice and helped us remain both positive and realistic in our outlook. Moreover, Sheridan treated us like we were her only client – taking time to talk with us, hear our concerns, reassure us concerning the process, etc. She treated us with dignity and kindness despite the seriousness and awful nature of the false allegation.
Sheridan stands out from the other attorneys with whom we had consultations. You want and need someone willing to fight for you. Sheridan fights for her clients and for the truth! Here are two specific examples.
First, bond conditions required me to wear a monitoring device. Other attorneys told me it would be approximately nine months before it might be removed. For several reasons, Sheridan thought we could at least ask the court to remove it. Thanks to her tenacity, the court ordered it removed after only two months – long before any other attorney said they would even try.
Another example was the stellar defense package she and her team assembled. Several other attorneys said the odds of success were too low and they did not spend time putting a package together. Fortunately, Sheridan said we should take every opportunity to demonstrate my innocence. We knew nothing was guaranteed but felt comfortable that we were in as strong a position as possible going into the grand jury because of Sheridan and her outstanding team.
The grand jury found no probable cause to indict the case and I was never charged with a crime. Before hiring Sheridan, other attorneys said the best outcome we could hope for was a plea deal.
The moral of the story is this: do not hire another attorney until you've met with Sheridan. She literally saved my future because she was willing to do what was right and mounted a robust defense against false allegations. There are not words to adequately thank Sheridan Lewis for all she did on our behalf. We are eternally grateful!

Sheridan Lewis is a name that should live in infamy… for being a tornado of creative ideas and supportive help in a convoluted justice system capable of eating innocent people alive. Or maybe the criminal justice system is the tornado and Sheridan is a tornado shelter.
Either way, know this: if Sheridan is your advocate, you will get the best advice and support possible. She can’t make magic happen, but she knows how to navigate rapids and help people feel comfort through the stress.
Here are some qualities everyone should know about Sheridan:
Sheridan can work in Dallas or Collin County, and she KNOWS HOW TO REACH OUT AND BUILD RELATIONSHIPS with people (including prosecutors). Apparently, so much of this criminal justice process is about making connections with people and trying to work within the system. That makes sense, but knowing when to contact, what to ask of prosecutors, and how to be nice but insistent in a way that builds credibility makes Sheridan feel like Gandalf (that’s a super smart wizard to you non-Lord of the Rings people). She just knows what to do, who to contact, and what is realistic.
Sheridan is REALISTIC and HOPEFUL. She also “takes every bite at the apple” to help exonerate clients (meaning SHE TRIES EVERYTHING). We talked to a number of attorneys one of which was horrible and still has a five star review. Most of them told us that the most we could hope for was to settle something we could accept. I was not about that, especially because we are innocent. Sheridan had a different approach - she said we will ALWAYS try to appeal to good judgement at every stage. She was right. Our case was dismissed because of her positive outlook, her detailed work, her encouragement, and her advice.
Sheridan PRIORITIZES PEOPLE and cares about her clients as humans. Our first lawyer never called us back. I know that they get busy, but never? Sheridan is responsive and communicates well. Just be up front with when you want to chat, and she and her associates will schedule Zoom calls or meetings.
Sheridan THINKS STRATEGICALLY and EXPLAINS PROCESSES. With each step, Sheridan laid our game plan and then explained the what ands why. I know more about all this CJ process because of her careful insights.
Sheridan is a funny woman who is considered by many in the field to be a top attorney - has impressed many and she will impress you. If given the opportunity, she will make you laugh as she guides you through as well as can be expected with this strange stuff. It’s nice to know that normal people who have a sense of humor are also available as effective lawyers. If you are looking for a criminal attorney, I promise that Sheridan will not disappoint.

If I could give a no start it would be that.
This law firm company came HIGHLY recommended by my family and they knew I had never been in this situation. They said they were so amazing with them and wanted us to have a great experience. I will say, since we started this process with this firm, we have been ignored. We signed a fee agreement and other things long long ago. I asked for out case to be closed 2 entire months ago, and they "dropped the ball"-- means they forgot. You would think to make a massively high profit, pretty much more than us just to request records and make a demand-- no matter what we go through personally and need the funds more- they did not care or even try. So sad. I put more work in to my own case and still got nothing. So unless you have time to email constantly (they do not return phone calls) choose someone else.

Mr. Haslem was exactly what I needed. He did such a good job I rehired him again and he won all of my cases and even won me money. I was a pizza driver for years and saw on Facebook that this firm got people money for unpaid wages. I was skeptical at first because well, it was Facebook but after all the time and money I put in to my car I thought I'd give it a chance. Drivers don't even get paid minimum wage and a lot of people don't tip because they think the driver gets the delivery fee. That goes back to the company 100%!
