Without getting into actual details, I will give you my experience with him. 10 years ago after spending money on the "Big Name" Attorney's in Tampa (who did nothing and had no plan) I ran into Mr. Baer, the new guy out of Texas. He made no promises but did some things at the time I thought were CRAZY! I was thinking "that sounds good, but just like the other Attorneys told me, no way they are going to go for that" I had that planted in my head, but Mr. Baer told me all they can do is turn us down. Still not convinced however, I let him do it his way. Now that I look back on it you can't do "normal things" and expect "crazy results" You have to be a little bit crazy if you want to crush it. That is exactly what he did CRUSHED IT! Everything he asked for we got! Stephen Baer is legit! If you have a Federal Case and you don't at least have him look at it. YOU ARE DOING YOURSELF AN INJUSTICE! Not that I would ever want to go through that again, but if I did the only person in my Corner I would want. Would be be Attorney Stephen Baer. Can't thank him enough. I just ran into his name again (10 years Later) while searching for immigration Attorney's. Couldn't be any happier. I will be hiring him again, if he will take my case.

I definitely recommend this attorney. She helped me acquire my DACA card last year. My experience was great, and I was always treated well and taken care of at each visit. The office has wonderful staff, and are very professional. The attorney always made sure I understood everything, and her assistant always answered my questions when I called in. I am not familiar with the legal system and, when I found out I had a warrant out on me, I panicked. Luckily I called Toby Shook. He was on top of everything from the moment he took my case. He told me what the charge meant, what I needed to do, what he would do and what would happen every step of the way. I called him in a panic but was soon able to relax. As the process went forward, he kept me informed. And - most importantly - he cleared up my issue quickly. My position was that whole thing was a mistake. I hired John in August 2016 for my divorce after having retained another attorney from this site in March 2016 for my divorce case. John was referred to me by an attorney at work. On our initial consultation I was looking to switch attorneys because of having a simple divorce case with a irregular retirement division which my first attorney made very complicated. John was presented with the same information I provided to the first attorney and he understood what I was wanting to achieve right away. He gave me three possible solutions with the pros and cons and advised as to my request not the norm. John said I was being very generous, but knew my intent was to do the right thing. We only met the one time and as of 11-4-16 I am divorced and was the result we wanted from the beginning with decree and a retirement QDRO.
I would highly recommend John and will be referring him when people ask. I think a personal reference is the best review source to find an attorney to meet you need.

I have just been released on 2nd degree Felony. All charges dismissed. John Michael Pool had managed to understand a difficult and complex case that involved State Authorities in California feeding Texas D.A. with evidence they knew was coached.
John is my court appointed attorney. After being released, i will be securing a retainer even though from the appearance of his website, they are sometimes not needed.
I still cant believe the charges were dismissed because in todays Legal world, no detainee ever gets released from Child Abuse charges that are false. The D.A. was an Alpha type of guy, John is Brainy and Sharp and was able to demonstrate to the Authorities, they had the wrong guy.
It was sad to see many other innocent men being lead to conviction by their court appointed attorneys.

You cannot put a price on liberty. My experience is that Mike is a well connected in the system. It should be noted that as an Adjunct Professor at SMU Law School, he has taught more than a few of the DAs in the area. He is able to get things done.
The best attribute of having Mike as my representation was his ability to manage my expectations and not make false promises. He is a straight shooter that lays out your options. His background, as a law professor, makes him very good at simplifying complex legal concepts.

My family member was accused of a crime near Lubbock Tx and incarcerated . He was beaten and sent to the hospital while in police custody. Lukas upon first impression is fresh outta law school and eager to make his way up that “attorney flag pole”. In no way was I Judging, as much as, extreme observantion. My livelihood on the line and a custody battle to ensue. I knew we had hired the very BEST attorneys in Dallas/FTW area. Greg and Lukas are the unsung heros always keeping me abreast of the information and options available. Demonstrating incredible amount of effort to keep a royal pain in the boooootay calm and reassured. I like to question everything, be humorous and push the limits....
