It’s hard to trust most lawyers these days. I was skeptical about hiring a woman lawyer but my friend used her and said great things about her. Hilary understood me and didn’t try to pressure me. She earned my trust and respect. She’s not easy because she wants you to work hard while your her client. But she really cares and fights for you on every level. I’m in a better situation now because she helped me as a person too.

Ms. Phillips was my lawyer when I was charged with some violent felonies. She looks like a nice lady (and she is) but she's a tough dedicated fighter and will protect you no matter what.
It was easy to get in touch and trust her. She reminded me of my court dates and worked with my employer to explain dates and why I had to go to therapy every week so I wouldn't lose my job.
She got a good plea but I wanted to go to trial and she supported me 100%. I was found not guilty of all the charges.
Ms. Phillips isn't cheap but she's worth every penny!

Rachel has been a friend for years but I haven't engaged her until recently for legal. As our newer company was growing we started to run into issues with some of our representatives and non-compete agreements which shouldn't have been an issue in the first place (in my opinion, of course). She offered what I truly believe is a white glove service and took care of everything A to Z while keeping me apprised of the progress.

I was arrested and charged with unregistered firearm and unregistered ammunition in Washington DC. This occurred in a federal building. It was a nightmare and I thought I was doomed.
David Akulian ‘Not Guilty in DC’ was one of my three final choices for a lawyer. I ultimately went with David because in person he displayed what his bio stated. He asked many questions during the consult and looked up things as we spoke. He left the impression that he was very experienced, there was hope and that he was going to fight for me.
It was pretty scary writing the check for the retainer, not knowing how good your lawyer really is. My case went on for seven months and there were many court appearances that I had to go to. You spend a lot of time in the courtroom waiting before your case is called. During that time you can listen to various US prosecutors and other people’s lawyers. David seemed to present himself in court better than any of the other lawyers I heard.
The US prosecutors were out for blood, so my case ended up in front of a jury. It was during the actual trail that it became apparent just how effective David was. He had more tricks up his sleeve than the prosecutor. David was very good with the jury to. The jury’s verdicts were the same as the sign on David’s office door!
I would not hesitate to use David Akulian ‘Not Guilty in DC’. I felt David Akulian gave me his absolute best effort.

After receiving a DUI, I was very nervous and uninformed about the process. Mr. Akulian did a great job of setting my expectations, explaining the entire process, and was an overall solid support through a confusing process. Mr. Akulian was extremely responsive, taking less than 4-6 hours to respond to any email communication. Even after my initial court appearances, Mr. Akulian has been as helpful and responsive as he was at the onset of my case. Mr. Akulian's pricing is extremely fair and he does not push you into anything you don't need or don't want. I would recommend his services to others with alcohol related infractions.

I contacted three lawyers for my case and he was the only one that sat down and actually talked about my case and reviewed the evidence I had. He sat down and went over the jury instructions with me and went over a convincing outline as to why the evidence didn't support the charges and how he would approach the case. He also gave a very thoughtful and appropriate prognosis of what may or may not possibly happen with my case. Didn't take him long to get my charges dismissed either, though had it not panned out that way I though he would do a good job if the case had gone to trial.

Barry helped me to save my son's life. He so well represented him in our legal case; but, that was only a part of his excellence. About 100 armed government agents descended on our several locations early one morning with search warrants in hand. They later claimed to have found enough to shut down the company and put the officers in jail. Over the course of the next year, Mike was there for us whenever needed in phone conferences and in person.
