Lisa Haines understood the significance of mental health problems where the judicial system fails to. We had a case that was clearly untreated mental illness & NOT criminal. She was able to show the judge evidence & get the charges completely thrown out. Charges that should have not been in the criminal system to begin with! Mental illness is unfortunately a sad failure with the police & the courts. Lisa Haines did not give up until someone finally looked at the evidence. It took two years & she never gave up. I had a possession - cont sub <1g, had served 2 years of my probation as well as completed all fees, classes and appointed programs. Unfortunately I relapsed after my mother passed, and had 2 dirty UAs. They revoked my probation and wanted to send me to State Jail. I found her in Avvo and read her credentials and reviews and just had a feeling she would be the one that could help me. She was able to get me time served for everything I had completed, my case closed and walk away free. I'm clean now and so thankful she gave me a chance to stay free and provide for my family in the most desperate times.

I’m so happy I decided to go with Mr. Barnett. Not once did he try to deceive me on the process of my case. Other lawyers I spoke with made it seem like everything would be done in a month. But Mr. Barnett let me know it would be a process and assured me everything would be fine. I’m very please with the outcome I received. Anna was very understanding and considerate of my situation and wanting to get my case taken care of right away. As soon as I hired her, she jumped right on it, contacting the DA's office, and got them to not file the charge that was pending against me. She was also able to talk to my parole officer, and submit a document from the DA stating they were not picking up the charge for me. My parole then lifted the blue warrant off of me. This all got settled within a matter of days, and my parole officer said I was really lucky, that this usually doesn't happen with a family violence charge. All thanks to Anna for getting this done!

Jim is hands-down the best lawyer . My son got himself into a mess of trouble, was facing some real prison time for heavy charges due to stupid actions. Jim not only saved him from prison, but his expertise got his charges reduced to a misdemeanor with probation. Of course lack of responsibility my son did not meet Probation because he was not ready to turn his back on his lifestyle. Needless to say after multiple adjustments and Jim going to the judge, he got probation dropped and he was assigned community service work detail. The boy messed that up too, and now We are back with Jim working for another outcome. I am confident Jim will work this out for his good, And hopefully the boy will get it done this time.

I contacted this office because it was recommended by Justin T Holt office (which they were great, they just don't handle minors traffic ticket). I called this office and response was slow to none I would have to make call backs to get an answer via text. I asked for a quote which never received. I called the office for an update and the individual answering the phones was short and slight of rude. I would be in mid asking question and she would interrupt answering the question she thought I was going to ask. I wanted to work with them, but if this is the experience, it's not positive.

After having to dismiss a court appointed attorney for my son, we were led to and hired James Luster. James accomplished more in two weeks than the court appointed attorney accomplished in seven months. After James reviewed the case and the evidence, we knew we had hired a winner for our son.

Veronica represented me in a complicated trial, involving former law enforcement versus current law enforcement. Not only did I truly believe that Veronica was sure of my innocence, but she took the time to explain the steps of the judicial process and the courtroom proceedings (when to stand, where to sit, etc.), as I had never stood trial before. Back in 2015 i received a disorderly conduct citation in the Stockyard area. I did not know how to proceed and what to do. I searched through potential lawyers to represent myself. Brandon was awesome from the onset. He basically laid it out as what could realistically be the worse case scenario and then over delivered and knocked it out of the park! I was involved in a fight and he was able to get a full dismissal even though other party was willing to push the issue. This was evermore so critical in my case because I am military and it could have ended my career. I would highly recommend him!!!

I honestly feel like i have another chance to do the right thing with my life thanks to Mr.Shaw for getting me the minimum time possible. Mr. Shaw actually was my boyfriends court appointed attorney. Typically you hear about the fears of having a court appointed attorney vs being able to hire an attorney. Mr. Shaw displayed compassion, and i could tell that he cares about each case reguardless if he is hired by a client or assigned as someones court appointed attorney. I believe he fights just as he would if he were being paid by someone who hired him to represent them or not. He was wonderful, and explained everything to us to make sure we understood, and the outcome was great! I would recomment him to anyone without a flinch!

I contacted this office because it was recommended by Justin T Holt office (which they were great, they just don't handle minors traffic ticket). I called this office and response was slow to none I would have to make call backs to get an answer via text. I asked for a quote which never received. I called the office for an update and the individual answering the phones was short and slight of rude. I would be in mid asking question and she would interrupt answering the question she thought I was going to ask. I wanted to work with them, but if this is the experience, it's not positive.

Scott represented on an eviction, which He won based on the notice was not received only the summons to appear from the constable. He had to do an Exparte for a Writ of ReEntry due to the person not adherring to the Dismal of the Eviction. Today we had the hearing on the Writ of ReEntry which Scott and his partner Bryce won. He gave me advice in 2014 I didn't take, in a divorce I should have gotten. Now its 2017 and here we go again. Scott has been very diligent in helping me this time around, and has done an excellent job with only 3 days notice getting everything filed, and keeping me calm while explaining everything in great detail. Wade was really great and helpful ... while in jail and post jail he worked with me and my fiancé to resolve numerous descrepancies in a case against me. I was given a plea deal by the DAvand it wasn’t looking good for me but I wanted to continue to fight as I was innocent and he did his best to continue my fight in court. With all the documentation gathered we proved my case. He didn’t accept the plea deal fought for me and my case was resolved as it should be ... I am thankful for his efforts and willingness to work with my fiancé when I wasn’t able to because we beat the charges ... I didn’t get time (2 years in prison) but a brief reinstatement of my probation which will be completed in less than six months ... with no more reappearances in court and only once a month check ins to my probation officer. I will soon be after man with my background cleared. It’s because of not quitting continuing to fight proving my innocence and this great lawyer / public defender. Highly recommend him ... he will do good by you.

We hired Mr. Bush after over a year with a different attorney who simply did not communicate well and appeared to be tired of working on our case, and we felt like we were going nowhere fast. We had the opposite, most favorable experience with Steven Bush. Our situation was complicated as the actual "client" has severe Alzheimer's Disease and still does not even know he had a "sexual touching" charge filed against him. He was incapable of standing trial, yet the DA refused to drop the case and this created a very difficult situation for our family. Mr. Bush took over the case with grace, integrity and amazing respect for the delicate state of mind of his client, my father. He truly went the extra mile, spent extra time and never made us feel like any question or concern was stupid or not worth his time. He also was very fair with his fees, never ever taking advantage of the time needed to work on the case. His paralegal, Naheed, was also truly amazing, ALWAYS replying to any of our calls or emails truly within minutes, and with great care and respect.
