Todd and his team's communication was exceptional! While Mr. Mitchell himself was frequently in court, I never hesitated to leave messages with the front office, or to message through the client portal. The messages were always responded to same day, or I would receive a phone call with updates. We had a hard goal set, and Mr. Mitchell and his team made absolutely sure that the last time I would walk out of the courts, it would be considered a success. My case was very complex, beyond scary for me and in a different state (not in GA). I came across Foss and his firm when doing a search for sexsomnia. From the minute that we started speaking he made me feel understood, heard and started putting me at ease. His partners were amazing as well. Their methodical approach was world class and I found Foss's practical intelligence to only be surpassed by his emotional intelligence. His understanding of the people involved in the case, that he never even met, was uncanny. Foss and his partners were able to secure a complete exoneration in short order and get me my life back.

Foss was very thorough in everything he did from investigation to validating facts to learning the personalities of the court and DA. He obviously had learned much over his years in practice and had a plan, but was not so rigid that he did not adjust with the situation. Always thinking ahead, he was prepared for different possibilities in each instance. A very intelligent gentleman who used good manners and remained calm at every turn. He was interested in hearing our input about the case and answering any questions we had. He communicated, even over communicated, to make sure we understood. Although the case was long, he was just as engaged at the end as at the beginning. We felt like we mattered to him as people and not just another win he could chalk up. We hope to never need his services again, but wouldn't hesitate a moment to engage him if the need arose.

After some searching, I found Foss Hodges and set up a time and an interview. Foss wanted to meet the entire family and the friends anyone who could show up, Foss began to introduce himself and more importantly wanted to know about me and my family. Foss cared it was the first time I had spoken to someone who wanted to actually hear from my family and was willing to speak with them about the case to help ease any confusion we may have. Also, a huge plus was he wanted to work with experts, and he had some of his own including wanting to give the one I had in mind a call and to at least learn with them. Foss gave us a checklist to do with everything he needed and as well as anything we thought would help him in any way. Then we went to work, we were a team working towards one goal and that was to prove my innocence and to put my family back together. Foss Hodges first act of business is very unique, it's to stop and indictment if it hasn’t been indicted already. He states very clearly, I can't promise you anything but the fact I will give you the best effort and I am going to put in the work. Any lawyer that tells you they can promise you a dropped case or an innocent verdict is something to pay attention to because that is not a thing. Foss then asks me to take a polygraph and then came to my house personally to do a walk through and see my house and exactly how the incident transpired. Foss took the extra steps to fully understand what happened and educated himself about the step by step instead of just taking my statement and that’s it. Foss wants to be there and see it with his own eyes, then after that he wants to try to meet the District Attorney to stop the Indictment if possible. We waited a year and a half it felt like before the DA responded to him then she would talk about meeting and then leave the office and someone else would get the case, or it would be “lost” for a few months then a new DA would take it and not respond to him all over again. Foss was persistent and never stopped with the correspondence to try to get a meeting to show the binder he built with all of his hard work and the expert testimonies with the polygraph test and all the Character reference letters with photos of the family and all. Foss kept my family updated and was very frequent with phone calls and if you had a rough time, you could just call him to talk, he was there for me and my wife in a time where we didn’t know what to do. Foss fought for my life for 3 years he won a bond modification to get me home to my family then 8 months later he went on to meet with the DA over my case and she dropped all charges over a six-minute phone call with my wife. Foss Hodges gave me my life back I have never seen anyone care or work so hard for anyone in my life, he was exceeding and doing things every lawyer I worked with before was just not there. I would trust Foss hodges with my life again and I am telling you if you are uncertain about the situation you are in and if you are reading this, I know your scared like I was. Please just give him a call and at the very least listen to what he has to say let him hear your story and then let him work for you like he did for me. He can't promise you the same outcome as me but that’s what he told me too and here I am writing this review after being free from the nightmare with a healthy family working on my master's because of this man. I owe him my life.

First of all, I can’t thank him enough for his legal help and support. Attorney Joel went extra miles to help me out while I had a lawsuit against me. I was wronged and taken advantage by another person whom I tutored. I was sued with false allegations. I am so lucky and I thank God that I was represented by him.
He did a psychological counseling and supported me when I was traumatized, frustrated and didn’t know what to do with his legal counsel and help.
I only won the case against the person who made false allegations against me to avoid paying for my services and to a revenge because she failed one of the classes I tutored. He represented me so well in the court hearing and gave a Justice to me.

We hired Richard Rice to represent our daughter in a Misdemeanor Charge for driving without insurance. While this type of defense work is well short of the types of defense Richard typically handles he accepted the work after we explained that any finding against our daughter could adversely affecther teaching career and credentials. Richard and his firm were with our daughter every step of the way offering support and confidence that the charges could be dropped because she had inadvertently failed to transfer the insurance coverage after purchasing a new car several months earlier. He was able to have the charge dismissed securing her future and receiving her of a very stressful situation. Megan was simply amazing! She was responsive to our questions and concerns regarding our son's IEP not being followed properly. She worked alongside us to formulate a plan before the meeting, and spoke intelligently about laws and procedures during the meeting. Last May I had gotten a super speeder ticket by a Georgia State Patrol officer when traveling 94 in a 65 on GA 400. I had hired Kyle to handle this ticket so I wouldn’t risk a license suspension and insurance cancellation given me being under 21 years of age. Kyle was very understanding of my situation and made me feel at ease, which says a lot as someone with bad anxiety. Kyle was also very understanding of me being a broke college student and had allowed me to do an affordable payment plan spanning 3 months while he took care of my case.
Not only did he help get that ticket completely dismissed, he also went out of his way to take care of a secondary 49 in a 35 speeding ticket I had gotten a few months later by City of Atlanta PD. This led to not one but two tickets eventually being dismissed completely, with the last one opting me to take a defensive driving course in exchange of my insurance rates not skyrocketing. In conclusion, I 1000% recommended this lawyer.

Zero stars. Constantly felt like my counsel was working more closely to appeasement of opposing counsel rather than what I overpaid for. I would not recommend this law firm to anyone. You would be better of retaining a lawyer that you pay as you go as opposed to overpaying a non refundable retainer to this firm. The only reason it is not zero is that I wouldn’t be allowed to post this and warn against signing up for this firm. Shop around and save some money would most definitely be my advice. Thx

Alan is a billboard lawyer who just likes to bs you. He listened to my case and told me he would speak to my criminal guy to get details he didnt told me give me 3 days. I emailed 3 days no reply waited 3 more days then told me I wasn't being reasonable in email. He told me he never asked Jason details back and forth since I don't have marks or holes in my body he dont want it. He cares nothing about being in a cage for 27 hours or the 15k it cost my family to defend myself... The fact is clear he is the type who rarely will go to court he's a office type lawyer.
