I must disagree with many of the posts I have read. While the law practice helped resolve my case, the office frequently failed to respond in a timely manner and Ms. Carrion (yes, embarrassing name!), the clerk, was neither efficient - got hearing dates muddled up repeatedly - nor pleasant to deal with. The lawyer can be downright condescending, and if anyone is reading this, I suggest s/he think twice before picking this law practice.

Everything was filed quickly but they said “the court doesn’t provide updates” many times when asked.
Almost a year into my process, my ex heard from a friend that their divorce was finalized in less than two months and then she tried calling the court to get information, she was then told our divorce was finalized 7 months prior.
I went to court and was able to get the final decree, but still haven’t been notified by my lawyers that I’m divorced…

Not going to lie, they are quick with starting the divorce process but it has been almost 8 months and my divorce still isn't finalized...and I was told my divorce should be finalized from 6-7 months, then they pushed it back and told me it is now 6-8months. What's next, a year? I ask for an update and I get told that they will get back to me and they never get back to me. These reviews did get my hopes up unfortunately. I just want this process over with already.

Omid Irani is an exceptional lawyer! I hired Mr. Irani to handle an expungement petition, which was granted. Before I hired Omid, I was skeptical of lawyers in general, because I was misrepresented by a trifecta of unscrupulous New Jersey defense lawyers during the original pretrial phase of my old case. However, from the first time I spoke with Mr. Irani, during the initial consultation for the expungement petition, I was impressed with his professionalism and easy-going manner. Unlike my previous set of attorneys, Omid was not condescending or patronizing when addressing my concerns. Omid has extensive legal knowledge, and he quickly explained the expungement process with confidence. Another quality that I admire about Mr. Irani is that he will either call or e-mail you back promptly the same day if you have any questions or concerns. The online client portal message system that he uses is extremely efficient for uploading documents, downloading documents, or sending messages. I only wish that Omid had been practicing law several years ago during the time when my initial court case was being litigated. If Mr. Irani had been my attorney back then, I’m confident that Mr. Irani would have succeeded in winning my pretrial motion where my old attorneys failed. My previous attorneys were lukewarm, and they stonewalled my case and repeatedly cancelled my pretrial-motion court dates for years—never arguing any of the pretrial legal arguments in open court, until they bled my financial resources and ultimately railroaded me into submitting to a plea ultimatum. It was a distinct pleasure having Mr. Irani’s representation for my expungement. For once, I felt like a defense attorney was actually representing my interests, and not the Prosecution’s or the Judge’s. After hiring Mr. Irani and uploading the required documents to the client portal, I only followed up once to check on the progress of the expungement petition. Mr. Irani inspires confidence, and he was on point every step of the way. The expungement petition was filed and litigated without a hitch, and I received the court order granting the petition only eight months after it was filed, which is relatively short, considering the expungement application process usually takes about a year in New Jersey. Having previously experienced the unscrupulous tactics of some duplicitous defense attorneys myself, I highly recommend Omid, Irani, because he is the gold standard of what a defense attorney should aspire to be. He is honest, punctual, highly intelligent, efficient, respectful toward his clients, and he gets the job done! Omid’s experience and professionalism makes the legal process significantly less stressful. Thank you, Omid.

Just not the type of attorney who should have handled my case in this lifetime, hopefully he'll think twice before stepping into other sectors of law that he has no place being in next time the opportunity comes his way and stick to what he knows best, defending criminals. Which there's nothing wrong with that, just victim advocate attorneys are very different from criminal defense attorneys and the two should not cross paths. There's a reason you have different lawyers, because cases are meant to be handled differently and a victim's case should be handled completely differently from a retaliation TRO case. There's people who use TROs and there's people who need TROs and FROs, that's why they have special attorneys that work with the population I am a part of, survivors of DV and SA.

Brent is a very calm grounded individual. When I first sat down with him, he listened, and after asking questions, he positioned a direction on how to proceed. We went to court several times and each time he was relaxed and advised me prior to the proceedings.

I hired Brent DiMarco, Esq. after I was charged with four (4) misdemeanor charges. From the very beginning, the only thing Mr. DiMarco promised me was that he would do his absolute best to try and help me. And he did. He answered my phone calls and emails promptly.
