I had the greatest honor of working with Mr. Robert, as the Social Investigator for my case. I had never met this admirable man before, and I will be honest, in the beginning I was in favor of a female investigator, since I am a female, and thought it would be easier, but the Judge decided to go forward and assign Mr. Robert, instead. It took 5 minutes into the conversation with him when I first met him, to truly say "what a blessing to have him assigned to our case. The judge was absolutely right to assign him!" A great attorney, an amazing Social Investigator, careful to capture all the details, truly ensuring my daughter's well being first and foremost. Above all, an extraordinary, fair, so knowledgeable human being. This is above everything else! Mrs. Woods and him make such a great team. I recommend him without a single reservation, for any social investigation needs. I am actually sad that when the case is closed, I won't be able to speak with him again in his office and learn so much from our conversations. He is the best! Choose him and only him! I retained this “attorney” Timothy J Miller for a DUI misdemeanor and he ended up scamming me. After reading all the other reviews for him, I actually felt better because apparently he is a serial scammer, and I am not the only one.
I retained Tim Miller on 9/30/2021, and my case is still open with absolutely no progress. It has been;
-566 DAYS
-1YR 6MO 20DAYs
-29 court hearings since I retained him…
Out of those 29 hearings, he failed to appear 6 of them.
When I retained Mr Miller I expected some level of professionalism and integrity. I paid his attorney fees in full and almost immediately. I retained him, so I would receive effective counseling while seeking the justice and the truth. I have been claiming my innocence since day 1.
After I paid him, Mr Miller stopped answering my calls, responding to my emails, or appearing to court hearings. More than a dozen times, I asked him to send me all the discovery and all the evidence in this case. Hearing after hearing and excuse after excuse, I was not able to make him move his finger, let alone schedule an appointment to go over the evidence. He simply did not care…after getting paid, his only goal became to pressure and scare me enough, so I would agree to make a plea deal with the DA, or go to the Veteran’s Court. He never believed on my innocence, nor he cared enough or put any effort to challenge anything in the case…He kept pushing me to make a deal and get rid of my case, so he can move onto other trusting and unsuspecting clients to make a quick and easy buck.
After my countless emails and phone calls, his assistant finally sent me couple pages of documents on 4/3/2023. That is 1YR 6MO and 5DAYs after I retained him. But the funny part is, those documents still does not include the breathalyzer test, dash cam records, and other important evidence…Long story short, he didn’t have those important records, because he just doesn’t have it in him to do the job, are care enough to look for… He simply did not do a thing!
He had 29 different chances and 566 days to make it right to me and at least try to help me, he did nothing…
A stranger on the street, or even DA would be more helpful to me than him, and that’s such a shame…
2 days after his assistant sending me those documents, on 4/5/2023, Mr Miller filed a motion to withdraw as a counsel…This is unbelievable. He asked me on couple occasions;
“Why don’t you fire me?”
And I replied:
“I can’t afford to fire you, why don’t you just do your job? It’s way easier.”
If this was any other profession, let’s say a carpenter or a plumber… and if that person had 566 days to do the job, and still refused to do it, that would be called a SCAM, and they would probably be charged criminally. Tim Miller is the smoothest scammer I have ever encountered. You will lose your money to him, and he is going to waste years of your life if you’re not fortunate enough to fire him later on… Please stay away.

This attorney failed to inform me on the status of my case nor provide any type of plan or strategy for a sucessful or favorable outcome and after I paid them in full up front $3,000.00. They sat on my case for 14 months. Then afterwards, qouted me $5000 to proceed and then sent me a bill for $1400 that said I do not have to pay, imagine that. They, the brother and him, worked hard on my case, not. They negotiated a settlment in three months with the opposing parties consel that covered one of the many points I'm seeking relief from the courts for . The settlement covered one of my points and gave concessions to the other party that I did not agree to nor see would fit my situation any better than where I was at . The attorney used language during our conversation that belittled me. After I refused to agree to their proposal they sent me the same exact settlement agreement five months later and acted like it was brand new news. In the end they wanted to me to agree to pay my ex-wife $30 dollars a month (towards a joint debt that I was awarded to pay during our divorce since I agreed to take on the debt that was awarded to me by the courts) in order to be awarded two extra overnights with our child during the school year and the "right for first refusal", which I didnt ask for nor think it would fit our situation as the mother is a high conflict co-parent. I hired this lawfirm to aid me in contempt, mod of timesharing and child support. Nothing was accomplished during his leadership and the case continues pro se, the way it came to them. Be careful of family law attorneys they know the system is rigged in their favor as attorneys and they are just happy with the system and will tax any litigant that comes their way just as much as the system is taxing everyone on it already! One red flag I notiticed up front when I asked how do they handle invoice and statements, they do not have a system for billing other than send the bill and jack it up!

Dale Westling is the dirtiest, nastiest, lawyer on the face of this planet. Dale had no right interfering with my hearing. The hearing did not involve him. He butted himself into the hearing. It was a small claims hearing, and he didn't have anything to do with it. It was between me and my wife. He is not a small claims lawyer. He practices law in another area. He had no right getting into this issue that I'm addressing.
He butted in and was cruel, nasty, and unprofessional. He acts like he knows it all, but he don't know it all. He is not omniscient. Only God is omniscient. He is being used by the devil to wreak havoc on many people's lives including myself. Dale must be disbarred. This issue should have been resolved between my wife and me only. His cruelty, nastiness, and unprofessionalism should be reported to the bar.
And after being reported to the bar, he needs to be disbarred.

Seth always took the time to answer all my questions and make sure I really understood what was happening in my case. He always showed up to court ready to go and was organized. The judge really respected him and listed when he told the judge about other cases like mine and why I should win. He returned my calls usually in the same day and the time I had an emergency on a Sunday he called me right back and took the time to help me. I am so thankful that JALA exists. I would not have been able to fight my ex husband when he tried to do away with child support and alimony. He had stopped paying everything including my mortgage which almost put our home into foreclosure. There is no way I could pay an attorney to protect me and my children from his vindictive actions. I hired John Leombruno to represent me on a few Violation of Injunction Charges. I hired other attorneys (ex-state attorney and others)who didn't put in half the work and told me to settle for whatever deal the state had to offer. John listen to me, never disrespected me no matter how anxious I was for him to plead my innocence. He did the work to back up my case and it ended with a favorable result! Charges dismissed.

I never write reviews on products or services however I always read them when making decisions. I felt in this case I had to!
I had an indication late on a Friday afternoon that I was going to receive an injunction. I immediately started researching what I was going to be facing and lawyers to help in my case. I called several lawyers and was able to get a phone appointment with John on Monday.
Sure enough I was served with papers at 1pm on Monday and had court 8am the next day. Imagine my stress levels at that point. Fortunately I had my phone appointment at 2pm with John. John had taken his time to explain everything and we were on the phone longer than the time he allotted. Understanding my concerns, he met me in his office late that afternoon, to discuss my case. He took his time and explained to me in detail how the process works, the options we have, and his costs. We were the last ones to leave his office!
We went to court and he fought hard for me, was a quick thinker who thought outside the box, and won me my case. I am happy to be past this issue. I had no one else to help me given the time restraints, and if it weren't for John, the outcome would've turned out a lot different. I made the right choice in having John defend me.
If you want a lawyer who is quick, efficient, will do his best to win, and will not overprice, John is your guy!!

The worst! Said they could help us. Waited weeks to speak to an actual attorney. Put my wife and me off until the very last minute. Weren't available for phone appointments that THEY scheduled. Every time we called they acted like we've never spoken and had to explain the whole situation again. Then sent us info on rental assistance and said good luck we won't be continuing with representing you a few days before an eviction. Called a REAL attorney (Adams law)
she handled it in 30 minutes. Problem solved.

I hired this office to evict a family member. I specifically told them I was in the middle of a divorce and that my soon to be ex was not in the house but is on the deed. I asked if that would be a problem. They told me no. They said it would take 6 weeks. At 6 weeks, I get a call from one of the lawyers claiming I did not tell them about the divorce or that soon to be ex is on the deed. That they cannot do anything about the eviction because of it. Then said they talked to the main attorney and that he said he’s willing to get involved in my divorce for a fee of $3500. They got $800 from me for doing nothing and then wanted to try and get me for another $3500? Yeah, no. I would not use them or recommend them. And by the way, they have evidence that I told them everything in the consultation as they told me it was being recorded.

I was injured in a car accident several years ago. I met Kevin at McGrath Gibson in conjunction with being represented by Brad Gibson. We had moved to the Jacksonville FL area and still had our personal documents from two years ago in New Jersey. We needed them updated to Florida laws.
We researched attorneys in the area and chose Ms Rosenberry and we are glad we did! She was prompt with all communication and was able to update all our documents in a more than timely manner. Her rates were more than reasonable but more than that, her demeanor and the expectation we had was more than exceeded.

I was sued by a bankruptcy trustee in Chicago. He was trying sue for my rents collected on a Real Estate investment using the 90-day "claw back" provision in bankruptcy law. I hired Sean Dore to have the claim dismissed. Sean wrote one of the most brilliant responses to the plaintiffs' claims I have ever read. The trustee's attorneys obviously saw their client wasn't going to prevail and quickly settled for a small sum of money. If I wanted to drag the lawsuit out I am sure it would have been dismissed.
What impressed me most about Sean was his thorough grasp of the principles of this case and of bankruptcy law. Nothing was going to get by on his watch. He was also no-nonsense, focused and to the point. He and his staff were always responsive, prompt and friendly.
I would rehire Sean Dore in a "Chicago" minute should the need arise.

I recently hired Mr. Dore to defend me in a frivolous lawsuit. I've also hired his partner Mr. Duffin to handle a few real estate transactions for me over the years. I have been very pleased with them as well as their extremely friendly and helpful assistants Lisa and Kristi. They have very reasonable fees and constantly kept me updated with the legal proceedings. I practice law myself but currently work in a foreign country and so it was very comforting knowing that they were always on top of things without me even being in the country. Furthermore, I've always appreciated their clear and concise answers when I have any questions. Finally, they don't attempt to rack up unnecessary fees like other law firms might do. I definitely plan to keep using them in the future.

When you have a complaint against a bank you are likely to find complaints to the Attorney General or State Attorney go nowhere. It is because they are funded by the Banking System???? I hired him for my husband. My husband had to tell him what to ask for. He barely return calls it seems like having a public defender. He only calls you a day or two before court you go in blind sided. I don't see the way he do people he can tolerate to look at his self in the mirror and it doesn't bother him. He simply spent no time trying to help. when I would call for updates on my husbands case, he seemed annoyed with me (I called every 3 days for 2 weeks- this is normal) Then he made a comment which made us feel as if his plan was to throw something together when we got to the courtroom. He had no intention of meeting with me to get any helpful documents prior to the actual court date, no prep. Any good lawyer will want all these document before court so they can prepare. even just 1 day before. but before none the less.

I hired Mr.Elias for my divorce case which took longer that it should, due to inconsistent communication. As the divorce case was going to an end, I hired him for my immigration case. I paid the initial downpayment and didn't hear anything after a month (which requires me to pay him again for monthly services). I felt like he is prolonging the process for the lawyer's fee. I've send multiple email and text messages -still no response for a month. After confronting him about how I feel towards the situation I cancelled his services and asked for a refund since he didn't do anything for my immigration case (which is very time constraint case). He kept the money, didn't communicate well and didn't fully finish my prior case. Until now, i don't have my papers which he promised to send me. I could've hired a better lawyer who I atleast won't feel degraded and got taken advantage of.

Ms. Schaap was very informative of the process and the situation at hand. After discussing my situation and my case, Ms. Schaap took full control and helped me through my case 110%. Everything was handled in a timely fashion and she was available to me every time I needed him. Ms. Schaap fought to get my case thrown out and all charges dropped.
