I can't recommend Scott enough! He is a good communicator and expedient - he's quick to respond to emails and quick to get things done. He won't drag out your case any longer than it needs to take. He is to-the-point, direct, very knowledgeable and experienced. He's worked with the judges and mediators in this area for a long time and he knows what is reasonable and not reasonable in negotiations. He is also a good negotiator. Negative. This firm is knowingly contributing the deprivations of rights and it can be seen in United States District of Kansas case 2:23-CV02176, in which Partner Christopher T Wilson is being sued for his lead against the best interest of children. My children. Re:Wilson was just faxed to the State Disciplinary Administrator and affirmative from the Court in Judge ruling 7/14/23 case 18CV03813 shows that Wilson knowingly broke rules of the court. When a second October 24 2022 judge ruling warned Wilson to stop breaking rules of the court. Don't use this firm, that are not only negligent, they are dangerous to children's best interest. This young man is VERY personable, dedicated to his clients and reasonable in cost. He saved me from having a moving violation which would drive up my insurance costs, spent the time to consult me on other legal matters but was honest enough to refer me to another attorney who specialized in what I needed. I was stopped for a DUI in that state of Missouri in the summer of 2018. I live in Kansas so I was not aware of the process of living in another state while in trouble in another. I was placed under arrest and went to jail. After I was released I found attorney Paul Burmaster through a ton of research on finding the best lawyer for my case. After meeting with him I knew this was the man to represent me and my case. Im glad I did. I had 2 court hearings to overcome and try and win my case. The first was the circuit court for keeping my drivers license. Long story short...We won by a judges ruling and I was able to keep my license and not go on any record or take a insurance hit. The 2nd court hearing I had to attend was for the criminal side of it with the KCMO Municipal Court. Prior to this Paul had came up with the best plan to represent and fight my case before going into the court room. I was always aware and kept in contact at all times of these hearings so I was fully aware of what was going on at all times. The day of the court hearing with the judge, prosecutor, and two police officers I knew what was going on during my trial keeping me in more of a calm state of mind knowing I had a good fighting chance to win. This helped me keep focused and my stress low at a time like this. During this trial I observed Paul being very organized and two steps ahead of everyone in the court room. With his knowledge and aggressive skill set we were able to win my case and was dismissed. I was very pleased with the outcome and would recommend this attorney to anyone. He will stand up for you and your rights to deliver the best outcome of any case that is brought to him. Thanks Again.

I hired Paul to help me with a DUI charge that I faced in Kansas. From the beginning, I knew I was in good hands. He was thorough, persistent with communication, and able to defend me to the greatest degree when the time came to do so. Jay Norton is the best attorney money can buy in Kansas City to defend you in your DUI - DWI case. I literally called 6 attorneys in the area based off of online reviews and 4 of the 6 recommended Jay - one even went as far as to say that they would hire Jay if they had a DUI - and this is someone that defends people in DUI cases themselves! Regardless of your arrest circumstances, his intimate knowledge of the law and supporting literature around DUI cases is second to none. He wrote the book of defending DUI cases in KC. In my case, Jay was able to systematically argue that there was a definite lack of probable cause for my arrest even though I blew a BAC over the legal limit. Essentially, the officer had no right to place me under arrest given I had arguably "passed" the field sobriety tests. Any case is hard to win against the state, but Jay made it nearly impossible to convict me given the facts he argued so well on my behalf. Jay won the arguments against the state and the case was dismissed! DO NOT CHEAP OUT ON YOUR ATTORNEY. HIRE JAY AND YOU WILL NEVER FEEL UNDER-REPRESENTED.

Heather is very aggressive in defending her clients. She represented my ex-wife in our divorce and had no problem telling the judge outright lies and slandering my name in attempt to paint me as the "bad guy" in the divorce. She encouraged her client to try to have my mother arrested for harassment due to a few text messages that were actually polite and courteous. She encouraged her client to file a false police report against me after her client intentionally damaged her own property in a storage unit. She sent an IWO to my employer and had child support taken out of my pay check before the judge even signed the order. She sets her morals and ethics aside when defending her clients. She's expensive, but worth every penny if you need someone to strongly defend you in a difficult divorce.

I first hired Sally to help with a custody hearing to get custody of my children. During the process of preparing for the court date Sally explained what l needed to focus on and what the judges looked for in hearing cases
The biggest thing is she listened and accepted my input so I really appreciated her attitude and help. I did get custody of my children thanks to her efforts
The next thing is when I got my divorce I got the house and my ex was supposed to be given a quit claim form. My lawyer kept putting it off and eventually moved away from the area so I asked Sally to help and she got it done in about three weeks.
Finally when my mother passed away she is the lawyer who had written my mother’s last will and testament addendums as times and circumstances changed After my mother’s passing she helped settle the will in a short efficient time
In all my different types of legal needs Sally is knowledgeable about her job and duties and is great at explaining her needs to assist her in getting things done and then gets them done in a timely manner satisfactory to my needs
She always allows me to voice concerns or questions about different topics during the process and then gets answers to my questions and concerns
I have had a few other problems and things l needed legal help with and no other lawyer ever listened or accepted my questions or concerns in dealing with the cases they worked

This is the lawyer you want and need if you are in trouble.He knows the law,is very intelligent and most of all cares about what will happen to you.
He went well beyond the specific case I hired him to do……he took care of the problem immediately but then he went further and provided a long-term solution to the problem.He is detailed obsessed,he is dedicated to "the right thing" and he will really work for you because "it is the right thing".
