I had moved out of state and needed a lawyer back in Minnesota, I contacted Mr. Myers and he was able to take my case and start on it right away. He was always just a phone call away and kept me updated almost daily. He was able to get the case dropped and was able to finish everything in a timely manner. Beyond ethical. I wanted him to do something that he made clear he would not do, however, he took a look at my case and made multiple suggestions as to how to win and as he says "achieve my objective"!!! And he did. He took an approach that even the judge had never seen. Not only did we, actually he won, nothing went to my criminal or traffic record. HE IS AWESOME... I am a Transsexual woman and hired Mr. Arems Dilaveri for my attorney to fight an unwarented stop leading to charges of a DUI. Mr. Dilaveri showed me a great deal of respect during our consultation and showed charicter that I had not seen in other offices. I decided to hire Arens Dilaveri not only because he was reasonably priced but also presented a very strong presense of confidence. After he completed his discovery. He felt confident that my case had a good chance of being won. After some delay from the prsecution and an accident in which the arresting officer was injured I had my first hearing almost a year later. Mr. dilaveri discused his stratagy with me and allowed me to be prepared for questions from him and what whould be expected from the prosectors. He was calm and confident and it put me at ease even with being on the stand. During the hearing he was very persistant and deliberate in his questioning. He was able to keep the officer and the prosecution therein on the defensive throught the hearing. He was able to establish fact out of a situation that the prosecution tried to make seem hear-say in reguards to my testomony. HAsking the questions of the officer that allowed the future questions be me to be allready established as a situation that was most likly. After the hearing he was reassureing to me about how the days events had gone. He typed up the writen argument that he submitted to the Judge over two weeks earlier than the prosecution submitted theres. He kept me informed of the situation. Roughly a month after the hearing I recieved an E-mail from MR. Dilaveri that I had won my case and it had been thrown out. With all evidence being suppresed due to the nature in which it was obtain was not legal. I would recommend this attorney to anyone needing someone to fight for them in court. He is quick, smart, tactful and extremely respectful. I not only recomend him because he allowed me to clear my name but because of these traites. I had offered him this high of regaurd for his work for me before the case was even finalized.

He's one of the greatest. Mr. Perry has an amount of knowledge that can only be gained through decades of experience. we are talking about a guy that likes to win, and hes damn good at it too. He met with me multiple times a week, made sure that nothing was left out. He didn't just talk about the case he got a feel for it, connecting with e personally before anything else. He has this sense about him, so precise down to the littlest details. Kyle represented me in my high-conflict child custody case. When I was served with divorce papers, I needed to find a lawyer who could not only protect me legally, but also help me make decisions that would preserve my young daughter's happiness as much as possible. A trusted coworker referred me to Kyle, and I was relieved to find that he had much knowledge and professional experience in handling cases similar to mine. I really don't think I could have picked a better lawyer to help me with my child custody case. Kyle was just amazing. His knowledge of child custody cases and procedures is unmatched in my opinion. He was able to put all of my concerns to rest and again, his expertise in child custody cases made me feel so confident in how we addressed my case which also made for no surprises throughout the process. I met John Daly through a mutual friend. I had been arrested for the first time in my life during the past year and had made some mistakes in handling the terms of my probation. I was very stressed out about my situation and the possibility of having my adjudicated 5th degree felony possession charge become a conviction as a result. John offered his help on the spot and was very confident about the facts of my case. This was very comforting to me as I had no experience in dealing with legal trouble on this level. In short, John is the guy you want on your side--whatever the issue. A longer answer would take more than the 3886 characters I have remaining. But I'll just say this: from start to finish, John was always there to answer questions, provide counsel and educate me about the road ahead. Always made me a priority. Mr. Berris represented me for two separate cases, the first time for a DWI defense and then a few years later for a driver license cancellation challenge. For the first offense, I was grateful for his expertise and negotiating a very favorable outcome on a guilty plea. What was almost an inevitable 60-day stay in the Plymouth work house, turned into a 90-day electronic home confinement and daily breath monitor… On the second charge, we effectively sued the State of Minnesota with a bench trial in my home town (I lived in a County seat) — and I testified for 50 minutes before Mr. Berris, a deputy State Attorney and a District Judge… Mr. Berris did such a great job in the proceedings, that a few weeks later the judge ruled to dismiss the charge and grant me immediate reinstatement of my driver license. Fifteen years (and no offenses!) later, I am writing this recommendation from Iowa just to give praise to the best attorney I’ve ever met in my life. Thank you so much Mr. Berris, if you ever read this and possibly remember these cases.

I recently used Marc Berris for a DWI case. He was really great. My last lawyer sent a different lawyer to court with me and had his legal assistant call me when I left messages for him. Marc did none of that. He handled every past of my case, was quick to return calls and reply to e-mails, and got me a much better outcome than I had expected. I had gotten Marc's name from a friend and was very glad that I did.

When I was arrested a close friend gave me Marc Berris' name. Though my friend had not used him personally, he had heard him speak when he was a student and remembered him several years later. I am glad he did. Marc was able to meet with me almost immediately, and we spent a lot of time talking about what had occurred and what could be done to make the situation better. Marc didn't pressure me to hire him, and I actually took the time to meet with two other lawyers. After doing so I knew that Marc was the right choice. One of the other lawyers actually gave me totally incorrect information, and the other was trying to rush me out the door almost the minute I got to his office. We made several court appearances and Marc checked in with me before each one. When he received all of the police reports he sent me a copy and then met with me to discuss the ways that they were accurate, the ways they weren't, and what our best course of action would be. At every step Marc made me feel like his only client, though I know I was far from it. When I left messages for Marc they were returned the very same day, every time, without exception. In the end, the outcome was better than I had expected. Marc even sent me a note to thank me for my business. I have sent a few people to Marc since then, and every single one has been as pleased with him as was I. Avvo's rating system only allows me to give him 5 stars in my rating, but if I could give him 500 I would!

In July of 2013 my world was shattered when I learned that my husband was not only cheating on me, but had moved our family to his home state of Minnesota to alienate me from my family and friends and divorce me. With my family and friends 1400 miles away, I turned to the internet and found Richard Caldecott. Richard was kind and empathetic. He also pointed out he had been practicing family law for more than 33 years. I told Rick that all I wanted was to go home to New Hampshire. We had barely lived in Minnesota a year. Rick told me interstate custody was tough, costly and there was no guarantee. He never promised me a win. He was highly efficient in keeping MY costs down. His letters to opposing council were clear and to the point: Our intention was to return to our home in New Hampshire. My ex threatened to fight me for full custody and told me I was going to get a war. Well, Rick was instrumental at letting them know, that I was not raising my children in Minnesota for the next 14 years unless a judge told me I had to. Not long after Mediation, where 2 experienced lawyers agreed, after hearing the facts of the case, that a judge would allow me to return to my home state. Soon after, my ex realized he would not win against Richard Caldecott. As devastating and traumatized as I was through this whirlwind process, Rick and his staff, treated me with kindness, compassion and constantly reassured me that I would be OK. A mere 5 months after I walked into his office sobbing and heartbroken, I left Minnesota to return home to New Hampshire with my children. I was awarded sole physical custody, child support, and we were HOME for Christmas.

My case started off with a nuclear bomb being dropped on me so to say. My case was a very litigious court case for custody with all kinds of false allegations and OFPs continuously placed against me from my ex-wife. Richard Caldecott methodically tore the case down one piece at a time. I started with no custody rights due to my rights being stripped from me at the beginning. I even had to see my children in a closed environment with professionals standing over me. This was the most humiliating experience I have ever had to withstand since I have was always been in the public eye. The professionals in this environment had already prequalified me as guilty of allegations not even in the realm of reality; so you can only imagine their treatment towards me. With all of the above said at the end; I was awarded full “SOLE LEGAL” custody; even being in Anoka County where the county custody intake women told me “men do not have custody”! Richard is a shining star amongst a bunch of big shot money sucking attorneys I had hired prior. His billing practice is more than fair and he is there for you when you need him the most. His ability to craft letters to explain what is really going on is beyond stellar. I would like to thank my luck stars that I found Richard Caldecott and the friend that referred me. I found Michael to be thorough, engaged and realistic. To watch him in court or at depositions is amazing. He KNOWS your case and it shows. Other over priced Attorneys shuffle through notes and seem to barely understand the case or issues when in a courtroom setting. Michael is sharp, quick on his feet and thoroughly knowledgeable of the case. Michael has an experienced and dedicated staff to back him up. Hate litigation...but if you have to, Michael Schwartz is the man for the job.

I had a run in with the Eagan police over my temporary tags. Mr. Carlson was recommended to me by my boss because his sons had been in trouble. I was looking at a Grand Misdemeanor which would have been a problem in future employment. Jim worked with the prosecutor and got me a continuance which will disappear off my record in a year. I cannot recommend Mr. Bliss strongly enough! I was charged with a sex crime that I did not commit and no one would take my case except Tyler. I worked with him for one year and throughout my trial his professionalism and skill in understanding and defending me throughout was simply unmatched. You may find lawyers that speak well and lawyers that will promise outcomes but it just doesn't mean jack until you see them in action during a trial! Mr. Bliss absolutely spanked the pants off the D.A. in my case and put to shame a District Attorney who has been trying cases for at least 20 years longer than Mr. Bliss. I was found NOT GUILTY of all counts and I owe it to Tyler's undying devotion to my case. He knows what he is doing he is dedicated, he cares, he is honest, he is knowledgeable, and he is committed to his clients. He won't lie to you and promise outcomes but he will fight like a dog for you. He ALWAYS answered my phone calls - he always took the time to talk to me. Through the hell I have been through I have seen ALOT of lawyers and it is my firm belief that this attorney is on the up and up- I absolutely believe that he is on his way to being a top MN lawyer. Christa is amazing and she coordinated me to work with Jessica Rugani a former prosecutor that works for the firm now. Jessica was detailed, precise, knowledgeable, and worked very well with the prosecutor in my case. I am thoroughly pleased with the outcome. Jessica did a great job communicating with me and helping me understand my case and helping me process the information. I had a previous lawyer who really screwed up and I was not happy and Jessica and Christa took over my case and so I was very worried that I’d have a bad experience but everything they said they were going to do, they did. After many years in the family court system, I finally found an attorney that would best represent the needs and wishes of my children. The whole staff at Groshek law showed genuine interest in getting to know our case. Mrs. Groshek treated me and our children as individuals and I felt very included in all the decisions regarding our case.
