I had the good fortune of having Ciro as my attorney. I had never met him before I appeared before the judge for the first time on a bitter divorce false arrest - on a alleged domestic violence charge. Ciro, arrived on time. Sat with me in the hallway of the court house. Listened, and my accuser kept trying to say that I had assaulted her. He called her bluff after consulting with her attorney and she backed down on the spot! I could have served real time for something I never did! This lawyer, is extremely great at what he does! A must hire, if your back's against the wall.

I’ve been fighting my ex over custody and visitation for 6 years now. Multiple times she has made false accusations against me. Multiple times she has tried to have my visitation taken away from me. Just Awesome!!!
I had an issue with my license as it wasn't going through the registration process and I thought, it is suspended and got nervous as anyone would. After looking up few numbers and reaching through Lawyers.com, was able to connect with Mr.Verrastro who initiated the call and even after I missed his call, he picked up my call and listened to the issue with extreme patience.
After listening to the problem and current situation, Mr. Verrastro took few seconds to figure out the potential problem and advised me to go to DMV and speak to them. Honestly, I wasn't expecting such a busy person allocating this much time and propose a solution as well.
Five Stars ***** and a huge recommendation for anyone who needs help with legal matters.

I started my process on my own and made some mistakes. I contacted Dr. Joseph and he reversed my process. He worked hard and got what I expected, my green card. I received my 10 year green card and I will be forever grateful for that. In all the times that I was in the office I was well attended. From the very first consultation through to the final court appearance Sara was honest, receptive and very knowledgeable with the legal system. Sara was on top of everything from requesting discovery to communicating with me. The case ended up being dismissed with prejudice due to the prosecution being unable to provide requested discovery even after the judge gave them another 30 days (sounds like there was no evidence). Her fees were reasonable and service exceptional!! Great staff as well!!

Almost two years ago, I began researching attorneys for my husband as I knew we would be trying to make a huge family decision for him to become primary custodian for our three beautiful step children. I had posted questions on avvo in the past in an attempt to gain insight on our situation and some sort of direction with how to approach such a HUGE request of the courts. We had the pleasure of having Nick represent my wife in a very serious matter where a DWI was alleged. The penalty would have been 6 months of jail time and all sorts of other things. Nick was able to scrutinize the discovery and find flaws in the state's case--enough that the prosecutor decided to drop that charge and my wife pleaded to a lesser charge which kept her out of jail. He even fought to try to have them drop that charge, but the prosecutor wouldn't. All in all, we are happy with the outcome.
Personality-wise, Nick takes a keen interest in his clients and values them as individuals. You would think you were talking to a long-time friend. He listens carefully to you, appraises the legal angles of everything in your case, and in his own prosecutorial experience is able to make a good assessment of how the case can/will go. We were so pleased that we are going to use him anytime we may have other matters that arise. You can't go wrong when your attorney is a real human being with a heart.

I am honestly baffled by the fact that anyone gave this law firm anything above a 3 star review. To get Sal on the phone is nothing short of a miracle. Every time I received a bill from Sals office I found myself perplexed because it felt like nothing was ever getting done. In my opinion, it seemed that regardless of the productivity of the case, $1000 dollar invoices came in one after another. One time he accepted a motion to delay the case further without so much as a word to me. The ONLY reason I did not terminate his counsel was that I would have to pay another few thousand to have another lawyer try to figure out what it is Sal was doing. Long story short… if you want someone who values your time, money, and opinion, do not call Sal.

I can't thank Sal and his team enough! We went into contract for a home, and after the seller signed the papers to close on an agreed-upon date, the seller did all he could to back out, leaving our family in a bind.
Sal and his team not only professionally litigate this, but he also came to the closing to make sure it went smoothly. He also continued to help after the seller sold the house because the owner didn't clean up the trash on the property as agreed upon during closing.

I am a Registered Nurse who completed my Master of Science in Nursing 3 months before being pulled over by the police after leaving a wedding. After going through the routine evaluations, DUI included three additional offenses even though the breathalizer returned negative. I thought my nursing career and becoming a certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner was over, for which I had just completed four years of graduate school. With good luck, a family member referred me to a friend, who referred me to Mr. Vaccaro, who took my case and provided me with much more hope by explaining the process. Mr. Vaccaro's experience as a lawyer and former assistant prosecutor of DUIs gave me confidence in his ability to help me achieve the optimal possible outcome. The final result is that Mr. Vaccaro got three out of the four charges against me dismissed, the most important of which was the DUI. The outcome was better than I expected, considering the charges against me. Mr. Vaccaro's ability to assess and analyze my situation accurately with the details provided illuminated his intelligence in knowing where to go with the case. I was a defendant in a civil matter/wrongful termination suit. After consulting with several other attorney's I know personally, I consulted with Kate, and was at ease immediately with her. After giving her a brief background of the case, she agreed to represent me and immediately attempted to negotiate a settlement that would protect my interests. After several attempts, including with a mediator to settle the case, counsel for the other party insisted on a trial and left a VERY sizable settlement offer on the table. The case went to trial, and not to brag, but Kate and Co-counsel embarrassed the other party. The writing was on the wall that the judge was about to dismiss the entire case, so the other party agreed to a pittance of a settlement far less than was on the table prior to trial. Needless to say I was very happy with the result and extremely impressed by all the work Kate did on the case. I would not hesitate to utilize her service's again, and have recommended her to several other parties, and all have been very happy!

I am a police officer and Union representative in New Jersey and our department was experiencing workplace retaliation and civil rights violations. Attorney Katie Hartman was recommended to me by another officer who was experiencing similar problems within his department. Upon my first interaction with Katie she gets right down to business. She allows you to tell your situation and will determine whether she feels you have a definitive case. Needless to say due to her knowledge and experience we were able to settle out of court in a period of nine months even going against a heavy hitting law firm. Katie is a pit bull. She listens to what is being said and then counter attacks making her opposition look foolish. I would definitely recommend Katie to any police officer or union official who feels they are being retaliated or targeted by their administration. O boy where do I even start. When you are involved in needing a lawyer you obviously search for a professional. Yes I consider Richard a professional. Not only did my business relationship with Richard consists of business but also consisted of building a friendship in a relationship in a way that you just don't find any more. I admit I was dumb. When I moved into NJ from NY state I had to get a NJ driver license and NJ license plates on our two cars. Doing that at the local motor vehicle office was easy. I went home with two sets of two license plates, but didn't pay attention to what I was doing when I put them on our cars. I ended up splitting the plates. I put one mismatched pair on my car and the other mismatched p air on my wife's car. A few days later I was pulled over by a cop who noticed that my front plate and rear plate were different by one number. I explained what must have happened but he didn't want ot hear it. I got a ticket for "fictitious plates" which I found out later is a major offense. I went back to Mr. Katz who handled another problem for me a few years ago. Mr. Katz kept me up to date on the case all the way to trial in the town court. The judge found me not guilty. I think that because Mr. Katz also is a volunteer cop he knows exactly how the system works.

Our shore home was nearly destroyed in the Superstorm. The damage wasn't flooding. It was all from wind. The insurance company wanted us to take $2,600, but the damage was $90,000. Our policy would cover that but the company called it flood damage. We had to use our retirement funds to start the repairs. My permanent home is in Springfield. Jeff was able to get the company to reevaluate our case. We got a check to cover all damages minus our deductible.
