Jeff and his team (Ari and Maren and others) helped us get through the aftermath of a catastrophic car accident. The driver that hit us had nearly no insurance. The accident involved myself and our two young boys. The process took more than a year, and they did their best to help us through every thing we had to navigate (car insurance claim, hospital billing, health insurance back & forth, etc). Jeff made time for us when we wanted to meet, needed to ask questions and anything that came up.
We could also tell Jeff (and team) genuinely cared about our boys, and how they were healing/recovering. We appreciate all the work they put in on our behalf.

Deceptive, avoided getting back to me about charges, did not understand my case, went to two hearings in the short time he was hired and did not advocate on my behalf when he had the opportunity to do so. After his withdrawal he charged over $2,000 more in unexplained fees that were not applicable, after the final Bill had been paid.

Mr. Whelan and Joanna, his Paralegal were exceptional in handling my case regarding custody modification for my 10 year old. They were compassionate / knowledgeable and most importantly realistic; they didn’t give false promises and put it straight forward. We had lots of documents and they were able to weed through them for substantial exhibits to be used in our case. Went from joint legal only to joint physical/legal. While we were utterly prepared for court, we settled outside of court standing firm. We were recommended by a couple others to this attorney and we will use/recommend him and his staff in the future.

Very poor representation during court. Switched attorneys on me before trial..reason was because Lawrence had trial that day for someone else. Never did any type of evidence gathering, seemed to always act suprised/taking notes down on something that had already been discussed and had notes on. Very expensive. Overcharged on things that should havent been charged on. Me personally , i regret hiring these guys and if I could go back and fire them before my trial I would have. They totally let me down as a client , were quick to hurry and settle a deal, without even attempting to do any questioning of the opposing party. These guys are pathetic and exactly opposite of aggressive.

When our first meeting was held it was verbally taking all my information over 30 minutes instead of using an electronic form to having sped the process up. Which usually should be done by a paralegal but instead was done by Karen at the cost of $300/hr. Secondly, at the next meeting she showed up 10 min late with a dirty fork in hand clearly coming from eating her lunch. After the mediation was finished, she refused to do the amendment for the 3 items we agreed up. I've tried working it out with her or her office and have had no success. I would recommend going with a different legal service if at all possible.

From looking at 9 years, my sentence was reduced to a few months of probation. He is super patient. He takes his time to explain everything. Makes you feel calm and reassured. If you are looking for a criminal lawyer don’t waste any more time and go to Robert Black. EXCELLENT EXCELLENT EXCELLENT lawyer. Highly recommend.

Do not spend your money here! The amount of emails I have sent my lawyer to see if she can help me with my case is ridiculous. had an extremely frustrating experience with this lawyer. From the start, I felt like my case wasn’t a priority. Communication was poor, and I had to repeatedly follow up just to get a response. Despite paying a significant amount for their services, I received little to no support or progress on my case. I ended up feeling completely ignored, and my concerns were brushed off. It’s clear that their focus was on collecting fees, not actually helping me. I would not recommend this lawyer to anyone, as I feel like I wasted both time and money with no result. If anything they pushed my case back. When printing out my things out for my fiancé interview she gave me papers with the ink out so all the looked really messed up! Looking at it made me feel so hopelesss! It is So unprofessional. Not a single thing was done for my case. I’ve sent out multiple emails asking what they can do for me that I never got a response back from. Also it takes about 1 month and a half to even get to make a appointment with them & it has to be on call not even in person. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY ON THEM!

I strongly advise against working with Darren Pekny and his firm. I was recently informed that documents that had a protective order placed on them, that he obtained, were obtained on a violation of Nebraska State Law. After learning about this unethical conduct, I filed a formal complaint with the Nebraska Supreme Court Counsel for Discipline. I am also exploring legal action to address this violation and unethical behavior. Unfortunately, this is not the only unethical behavior I’ve witnessed from Mr. Pekny and his firm. They have shown a consistent disregard for individuals’ constitutional rights, which is deeply concerning. I urge anyone seeking legal representation to look elsewhere for a firm that upholds the law and ethical standards. I would have absolutely no problem showing anyone proof of this. Please be smart and go elsewhere. Our justice system doesn’t need attorneys that are like this.

He knows that no matter what the facts are the facts but will continue to lie just to get paid. Darren has no problem taking money from someone, knowing he won’t win a case against a guy who doesn’t have a law degree. If you want to laugh then Darren is your man because he is definitely one of the funniest jokes out there! If you want to be robbed of all your money this is your man as well! Don't forget your popcorn when you come to this circus! Darren seriously is a complete joke and you will lose a lot of money if you use this firm! Took two weeks to call me only to do a long phone interview (like an hour) saying if they’re interested in my case they will let me know and then sent a letter of denial a week later. No reason given other than “they are so busy” yada yada. Was referred by CSE. The whole reason for the situation in the first place. Was pretty much a waste of time

Bill Bianco of the law firm Bianco Stroh, LLC in Omaha is one of the worst lawyers I’ve ever encountered during 28 years of being an attorney. I referred a client to him as a courtesy and he spent months overbilling and insulting my client and his team while providing false information and failing to meet deadlines. He was rude, unprofessional, and wasted many hours of our time over a period of months. After my client fired him, I had a duty to report him to the Nebraska Counsel for Discipline to reprimand him for his unethical conduct. Stay away from this attorney and if he committed legal malpractice against you, report him to the Counsel for Discipline!

My husband hired Bill Bianco to represent him on a lawsuit he was filing against someone. During the time Bill represented him I have never seen my husband so stressed and anxious. He kept saying I think my own lawyer is working against me. Finally after months of Bill doing nothing my husband fired him. He has now found a great lawyer and is so much happier. Bill Bianco is the worst lawyer in Nebraska! I am going to try and keep this as short as possible, but considering all the incomprehensible things Bill Bianco did or didn't do with my case that won’t be easy. I have needed lawyers many times in my business career of 25+ years. In this time, I have had some pretty bad lawyers but none of them were nearly as horrible as Bill Bianco. I have had opposing lawyers treat me better than he did as my lawyer. After 4 months of malpractice, disrespect and ethical violations I fired him.
This review is the first of many things I have planned for him. Next I am reporting Bill to the Counsel for Discipline to be reprimanded and I am also suing him for my legal fees plus damages. From overcharging me for work he didn't do, to disrespecting myself, my experts and my other attorneys it was beyond bad. You would be better off representing yourself than hiring Bill Bianco. If you’ve had problems with him please reach out to me I may be able to help you. This guy should not be allowed to practice law ever again!!!

Do not spend your money here! The amount of emails I have sent my lawyer to see if she can help me with my case is ridiculous. had an extremely frustrating experience with this lawyer. From the start, I felt like my case wasn’t a priority. Communication was poor, and I had to repeatedly follow up just to get a response. Despite paying a significant amount for their services, I received little to no support or progress on my case. I ended up feeling completely ignored, and my concerns were brushed off. It’s clear that their focus was on collecting fees, not actually helping me. I would not recommend this lawyer to anyone, as I feel like I wasted both time and money with no result. If anything they pushed my case back. When printing out my things out for my fiancé interview she gave me papers with the ink out so all the looked really messed up! Looking at it made me feel so hopelesss! It is So unprofessional. Not a single thing was done for my case. I’ve sent out multiple emails asking what they can do for me that I never got a response back from. I was recently informed that documents that had a protective order placed on them, that he obtained, were obtained on a violation of Nebraska State Law. After learning about this unethical conduct, I filed a formal complaint with the Nebraska Supreme Court Counsel for Discipline. I am also exploring legal action to address this violation and unethical behavior. Unfortunately, this is not the only unethical behavior I’ve witnessed from Mr. Pekny and his firm. They have shown a consistent disregard for individuals’ constitutional rights, which is deeply concerning. I urge anyone seeking legal representation to look elsewhere for a firm that upholds the law and ethical standards. I would have absolutely no problem showing anyone proof of this. Please be smart and go elsewhere. Our justice system doesn’t need attorneys that are like this.
